My 14 year old daughter had a facial with Cristina, and boy did she hit the jackpot. I can't say enough about how knowledgeable, kind, and generous Cristina is. She sent us several lengthy emails to follow up with instruction. She truly cares which isn't an attribute that's easy to find these days. To sum it up, I have never had such a wonderful experience with a facial as we had with Cristina. My daughter thoroughly enjoyed the experience.

After a 3.5 year COVID-driven hiatus from facials, I was worried about working with someone new, but I couldn't have asked for a better aesthetician than Cristina. From her balance of professionalism, expertise and empathy, plus her apt instincts as to what I needed, I felt pampered and in good hands. Her 30+ years of experience shone through when she whipped out her apothecary "hat", and her magic and kindness produced some amazing results! I can't wait to go back!

Cristina hands down is the very best esthetician in the entire Bay Area and beyond. I do not have enough words to describe how AMAZING she is. I have seen her for years for my brows and facial. She is a perfectionist and will meticulously make sure that every (even tiny) single hair, color and length on your brows is perfect and that they look like brows that a movie star has. Just this week, someone stopped me to ask if they could look more closely at my brows and asked how I got them that way, that is how much of an artist and magician she is. You will be pampered like you never have been before. Her facials are out of this world. They are customized for you and she is perhaps the most knowledgable person on skin care that you could ever talk to. Having a facial with Cristina is the most relaxing experience that you will ever have. I don't want to leave because she really pampers you and makes you feel so relaxed and at ease that you will be become addicted. Her facials leave your skin bright and glowing. My favorite parts are also the most relaxing neck message that she gives you as well as cool stones that she uses on your face after the mask treatment. You will not recognize yourself afterwords!! You are literally shimmering and glowing with the brightest and most beautiful complexion you could ever have. I consider going to Cristina as a mini vacation where you can completely relax and unwind. Lastly, she is hands down the nicest and more caring person that I have ever met. She is someone who loves her craft and you will want to be her best friend because she is just one of those very rare and special people that you don't often come across. She is more like family than even a friend. If you are considering going to her just book an appointment immediately!! DO NOT EVEN WAIT A SECOND!

Cristina goes above and beyond any facial I have experienced. I have been hooked on her for my face and daughters for years, and our skin has never looked better. She has changed my entire aging complexion. I love all her products, and I am convinced that is a huge reason my skin looks as good as it does. Plan to relax and get spoiled when working with Cristina. Her facials are as relaxing as a massage. I just wanted to let you know that you should expect to get pampered. I am so grateful for her; she is a true pro who knows her stuff.

I've had facials at some of the top resorts around the world, yet I've found the best of the best right near my home in Palo Alto. Cristina is a magician...No matter what issues I'm having with my skin (breakouts, dryness, irritation), she comes up with a customized facial treatment that fixes the problem. She also gives wonderful tips about simple things I can do in between treatments to take care of my skin (hydration, vitamins, etc..). She is obsessed with cleanliness and it's obvious when you see her treatment room. She uses and sells amazing products but she never pushes you to buy them if you have other things at home that you are already using. And, on top of that, she is one of the kindest people I've ever met.

I've never written a review but couldn't resist––I can't sing Lavendermia's praises enough. Cristina's facials are truly such a wonder. I've never had an aesthetician take such time and care with my skin, including during the many lovely treatments I got to sample while working as a beauty editor in NY. She takes time to make sure you're comfortable (cozy, spotless studio and a hot stone shoulder massage help) before assessing your skin and hearing any concerns. Then she sets about tailoring every product to your skin type. My favorite part is when she mixes a custom mask for my skin, with highly effective and nourishing medical-grade skincare from Skinceuticals and Hylunia. She's happy to recommend skincare products or offer insight into how and when to use certain ingredients, but you'll never feel pressured to overhaul your routine or shop post-treatment. I have quite a laissez-faire approach to my skincare, but a few tweaks suggested by Cristina on my last visit have made such a difference. Appointments booked for 90 minutes can go a bit over (if you have the time) as she is never rushing. I no longer live in the Bay Area yet book in to see Cristina every time I visit. One day off a long haul flight and my skin looks more clear, bouncy, and fresh than ever. It's also worth saying that she has a rare nurturing presence––it's impossible to not feel cared for and relaxed in her studio. Cristina would be a gem anywhere, but amongst the backdrop of pricey, clinical, and often cold med-spa Bay Area spots, Lavendermia is a rare treat.

Would give infinite stars if possible. Cristina starts with an in-depth dialog on your skin habits, needs, treatment plans. She explains each facial step, what she’s using and why. All of her products are the highest quality and she uses a lot of pure organic botanical ingredients such as lavender, tea tree, rosemary, the list goes on! Her extractions are gentle and thorough and the environment is simply the most relaxing cozy experience ever. My skin feels the healthiest it has been in years. So happy to have moved back to the neighborhood so I go to her again.
