Hi, I’ve come all the way from Canada to visit my Daughter in Chicago, and one of my best experiences is getting a full body massage at Lavida’s. The service is fantastic and the people are super friendly. They make my day every time i visit them. Willie and Bonnie are the best. You want the best massage in Chicago, Lavida is the best there is.

My masseuse David is wonderful. He listens to my concerns and delivers quality therapeutic massages. Receiving massage therapy as an addition to my wellness plan is proving to be beneficial. I sleep better and have less muscle pain. It also aids in regulating my mood. I am much more relaxed.

Owners should be worried having these types of people running their establishment. It’s supposed to be a calming experience- the people upfront are confrontational and temperamental. Such a shame this place has been driven into the ground. David has been my therapist for about 3 years and he is awesome. Unfortunately the service on the phones and up front has become unprofessional and rude. Their problem resolution skills for customers are nothing but poor. Depending on who’s working that day, depends on how you’re treated and if/ what your card is charged. I unfortunately had a 20 minute debate with Willie on the phone and some lady manager in the background, who rudely explained to me that each employee runs their shift different. They also told me I should have remembered the contract I signed three years ago. They’ve decided to start following the “policies” all of a sudden without warning after three years, so they want you to remember them. They’re more interested in arguing with their clients, then actually resolving the problem and retaining their clients. No thank you!! Membership cancelled. Learn to be flexible with people. If you’re not, other places surely will be.

It's unfortunate that you're choosing to leave us, you have been with us for one and a half years not 3. While you were talking and over talking us about your 3 last minute cancelations and your fees. That the first 2 times we processed different then the last one. The fees were taken from your unused massage payment and not the credit card. As you were advised by a manager, unfortunately the third time 1/5/24 the sales associate charged your credit Card, which is the way that it's done properly. So when you called 3 weeks later to tell us.We returned the fee back to your credit card to make you happy and took it from the unused massage payment on your account. You were advised that the Sales Associate did it the right way but you didn't want to hear it and continued to overtalk and advised that we should be trying to retain you. Unfortunately we can't make everyone happy we do wish you the best. The phone call was not 20 maybe 5 minutes and we listened to you and will take it all into consideration. Thank you.
