We have used Lightning Bug Electric for four different projects over the last several years. The entire operation is fantastic. From the office staff of Ashley, Heather and Kelsey to all of the technicians like James, Steven, Tyler, Marcus and Hunter, we have received the most professional, friendly and competent…
Quick friendly amazing service. Explained every thing they were doing clearly and showed us repairs when finished. Affordable pricing and great people all around.
Taylor was professional, as always. The job was completed in a timely manner. He explained what work would be accomplished . He briefed me on the work when it was accomplished. Lightning Bug Electric is our “go-to” company for our electrical needs.
Christian did an outstanding job in a professional and courteous manner. I feel he also looked to do things in the most economical way and gave me options. So many times in dealing with services where I am not very expert in, I walk away feeling ripped off. Not in this case. I highly recommend Lightning Bug Electric.
As a PM I appreciate the comprehensive service, efficiency, and excellent communication. Will use again.
Aaron (and Braeden) did a spectacular job replacing my electrical panel, breakers and running a new circuit. After initial inspection, he gave multiple levels of options to fix my problem, and explained each well. I felt I got the upgrades I needed to be safe and up to code while not overspending. He was thorough…
Fantastic experience. We have had a now long standing problem with breakers tripping and a set of light switches not working. We had Steven and Marcus come out today and resolve all of that for us. They took their time to understand all the issues, provided an estimate, and completed the work the same day once I…
Lightning Bug has been doing a lot of work in a newly renovated house that we recently moved into. Today they came out to help repair an electrical outlet where stone had been installed as part of a new cabinet installation. They had done the new wiring for this, including adding an outlet for an espresso machine…
Thank you to the Lighting Bug team for coming onsite and going the extra mile to get the project completed. Leo and Eddie, you are both amazing workers. Really enjoyed the positive attitude that you both brought to make this tedious project enjoyable and fun.
Griffin and J.D. did an excellent job! They replaced 2 ceiling fans and installed a third. Two of the ceiling fans were in vaulted ceilings. They also replaced 3 loud exhaust fans in the bathrooms with new, quiet models, and updated the lights over the lavatories. They also added a whole house surge protector to our…
I had fun today swapping out the old wall oven that quit working. Getting the old oven out of there by myself was the biggest challenge because that oven was heavy. I also had to do a little bit of carpentry work to reduce the size of the opening so the new oven wouldn't be sliding around once it was installed.…
Clay from Lightning Bug Electric is a true professional. I had a complex issue that damaged my panel and main breaker, but Clay didn't just fix the symptoms—he identified the actual root cause. He took the time to show and explain every step of the process, which gave me peace of mind. While it wasn't a cheap fix,…
Great friendly and efficient service! Daniel was informative and thorough about the work that needed to be done. Very satisfied!
I’ve used different electricians over the years. I will never use anyone other than Lightning Bug going forward. If you’re looking for the cheapest electrician you can find, look elsewhere. If you want it done right, your search is over.
The whole team at Lightning Bug was great to work with! Cody was great assessing our problems and going over what work we need to get done now and down the road. And I have to give a HUGE SHOUTOUT to Taylor the Rat King and Saint Steven! Really great guys that came in and got my furnace wiring and a new circuit breaker setup. Thanks again guys!
Lightning Bug Electric is in my opinion the best in Cobb County. We have used them for years and their expertise in electrical work is top notch. They are also very reasonable in costing jobs and most of their work is priced on a per job basis, not by the hour which is very fair.
Quick response, honest assessment, competitive price, excellent workmanship. I have nothing but good things to say. My complements to Cody, Aaron and Steve on a job well done.
I needed to upgrade the electrical panel for an electric vehicle charger. The process was discussed with Cody who reviewed the details of the work involved in a way that made sense without tech speak that can be confusing at times. His estimate was very reasonable and was less than I had expected. I was very…
They were on time, professional and very respectful. Just an overall great experience. I've used LBE twice now and have been VERY happy with the experience both times. Steven and Sammy were awesome!!!
Excellent service. Steven V is ALWAYS exceptional and professional in the service he provides.
Lightning Bug is great. Their quote was 35% of a competitor. Their work was thorough and they really went the extra mile. They offered some optional upgrades with a true soft sale tact that I appreciated. They showed me what everything would cost even as we changed the plan as we went. The entire process was great.…
Steven was prompt, professional and willing to walk me through all the changes and the reasons why. I was very impressed and would highly recommend!
Did a great job and was very prompt. Would recommend.
Very professional and thorough, their people couldn't be nicer.
I was extremely happy with the service from Lightning Bug Electric. Steven was timely and very professional. He explained everything that needed to be done to replace two wire sizes in the electrical box and also installed a kitchen overhead light. I will definitely use them again
This is the second time I have used Lightning Bug Electric. The first time was for my home and today was for one of my commercial properties. Jeremy replaced a switch in breaker panel and a light fixture in the break room. He is very professional, knowledgeable and thorough. I will definitely use LBE for any…
Steven and Chris did a great job finding and resolving my issue!
The team from LBE was amazing. I'm a former contractor. It's great to see real professional tradesmen that hold themselves and the quality of their work to higher standards than even those required by code. They upgraded the service and rewired my 1962 model home which I knew was not going to be an easy project.…
Cale at the lighting bug electric company has been the best electrician I have dealt with so far in the Atlanta area. I had a power outage in 2 rooms and he was able to identify the issue quickly and fixed the same day. He was very knowledgeable, professional, informative, fair and honest. He did not try to sell…

Great experience. Friendly, knowledgeable, and let me pay on a credit card without an extra fee. Cale was great!
I've been using Lightning Bug for all of my electrical needs since 2016, when I lived in Dunwoody. They've always gone above and beyond, Bobby and James and Josh in particular, even coming out when I moved to Lilburn before it was technically part of their service area! Most recently they did a bunch of work on my…
Excellent work. Fast and professional
Dakota C. has come by twice in the last two weeks for separate issues. He quickly found the cause of both problems, explained and recommended solutions in a friendly, professional way, and fixed it all. He was willing and eager to answer all our questions and went out of his way to explain ways to avoid the same…

I want to commend the entire team, consisting of Leo, Cale, Scuba, Orlando, Jordan, and Rigo; for exemplary customer service. I will definitely refer this company to my family and coworkers. This team was professional, knowledgeable, and exceeded my expectations.
Jeremy was great. Really helpful and professional. Will certainly use again.
We had Cody with Lightning Bug Electric help us move our electric water heater and fix an issue we had with our breaker. He was very knowledgeable and explained everything clearly. They were flexible with us as dates changed around, fair with their prices, and the whole process was smooth. We will definitely be using them again!
Justin has come to our house before and is aware of our issues with the initial electrical installation work and has always worked competently for us.
The service from Lightning Bug was exceptional. The technician, Steven, was professional, reliable, and friendly. The work done was diligent and of great quality. Thank you!
My breaker for the bedroom had been tripping consistently for the past few days, called Lightning Bug Electric in the morning, they had someone out within the hour, ran tests, fixed the problem, provided options and was very communicative.
Steven from LBE was so helpful, and because of him, I feel more confident and educated about my electrical system. He listened, answered every question, never once pressured me, worked hard all day, and was the best I've ever had, explaining the problem, cost, building codes, how to prevent future issues, and my…
I have used Lightening Bug Electric for various projects since purchasing our home 7 years ago. Their service has always been high quality and the technicians extremely professional. The most recent service call was a shining example of this. We did basement remodel and put in a shiplap accent wall; however, the…

Highly recommend. Kept us informed throughout repairs while being extremely courteous.
Steven was very professional, friendly and trustworthy!
Had an urgent issue at my house. LBE was able to send electricians out the same day. Justin and Del were very professional and did a great job. Installed two ground rods, added a surge protector and corrected a panel issue. Did great work and left the property like they found it. The house ground was lost when my…
Wholeheartedly recommend LBE. The technician they sent, Dakota, was incredibly friendly and very informative about the work that was to be performed and even helped me wrap up some personal projects I had started. I never felt pressured or forced to have any work done, unlike some other companies I've interacted…

Steven was great! Very knowledgeable and got our job done quickly! Would definitely recommend!
Dakota was a very professional electrician he went above and beyond the call of duty he has a great personality and is willing to help in any way your company is very fortunate to be employing somebody of that caliber thank you
LBE was AMAZING!! We had a flickering lights issue and were previously trying to work with Mister Sparky to resolve this, but we got two different reasons for our issues and two vastly different quote prices (2k vs 14k) from technicians that both worked for Mister Sparky - and we were not pleased. We sent Mister…
Justin and Griffin were professional, on time, courteous, and knowledgeable. They were able to come out same day and provide us the service we needed.
Jessel was professional, informative, and thorough. He was easy to work with when he was here. I highly recommend him.
We had a courteous, professional, and knowledgeable technician!
This is the third time using Steven V from LBE over to install lights. Very thorough and professional. Thanks for a job well done!
Steven was courteous and professional. He diagnosed and quickly repaired the electrical problems that I have been experiencing. Two other “handymen had attempted to correct the problem, but Steven quickly repaired. I highly recommend him and “Lightning Bug Electric”.
Cale was very professional, was extremely nice, and really made quick work of the job. Now we can finally dry our clothes! I would absolutely use this company in the furniture, and would recommend them to anyone needing electrical work.
The crew was on time, communicative, and did a great job. This is our third time using the service and we are very satisfied!
Leo did a great job! And this company did a fabulous job helping us after hours and on the weekend.
Great, knowledgeable service. Our electrician explained everything and couldn’t have been more helpful and interested in taking super care of us. Highly recommend Lighting Bug and our electrician Dakota.
Very Friendly/efficient/knowledgeable/professional Technician Jamie I would Highly recommend them.
We called Lightning Bug on a Friday night after power arced and knocked out the power to our house because a squirrel had chewed through the line. Jamie Gilley was there within the hour and stayed until after 10 getting us back up and running. The power surge had also knocked out our microwave, and Jamie…
Used Lightening Bug to perform a repair after a tree branch knocked out our power. They ended up having to do a panel replacement and they did a great job.
They charged $350 for 10 minutes work. No parts has been replaced. He (Mr.Coleman) did reset the breaker only. The issue is back again after couple of days. No proper diagnostics. I would avoid this company. Ethics is important for any business. UPDATE: I did above review and got a call from owner less than 30…
Cale was on time, very responsible, clean work!. I would highly recommend
Lightning bug electric was great to work with! From the initial service scheduling, to the estimate, and completion of the work, it was an all around great job. Communication from all parties (office schedulers and technicians) was prompt - they always reached out to you first and ensured nothing fell through the…
They replaced 2 AFGF breakers on our panel in Nov 2021, paid $680 due to "supply chain" issues.....Today we had to replace another 2; collected prices from other companies and learned that Lightning Bug Electric is VERY expensive. Called them to check and I was told that this is their pricing strategy. I wouldn't work with them.
Lightning Bug knows the meaning of the Golden Rule! I feel very appreciated as a customer.
James was wonderful, he fixed a few burnt out wires and educated me on my panel. Would highly recommend!
Our technician, Justin, was fast, friendly and informative, couldn’t have asked for a better experience!
Lightning Bug did a superb job. I had a breaker tripping off every 1-2 hours that needed a fix. The electricians came during the scheduled time. They quickly inspected the issues and assessed the breaker to be faulty and immediately replaced it all within 10min. They also offered a loyalty membership program Bug…
Justin is the best electrician hands down! We had a ton of work that needed to be done and he and Cal worked their butts off, staying until well after business hours on a Friday evening and was also able to get us a great deal!
Professional fast and efficient. We had to have some repairs done for a home inspection. What I thought was a simple job got more complex as time went on.
Lightning Bug Electric is the BEST! They were very responsive and helpful. When I told them that I heard a buzzing in my electrical panel and that I had plans to go out of town this evening for my son's wedding, they came out right away! As he was checking, he found multiple issues at the panel and did not hesitate to inform of all issues. Once we agreed on the work to be completed, he was able to replace…
Justin did an outstanding job. Efficient knowledgeable courteous and informative. He didn’t try to sell me things I did not need. He also took time to discuss other possibilities. I got their name from booklet that comes in the mail. Glad I got it and used them. Very well done
Steven came out to diagnose a non-functioning landscape lighting issue. While there, he took the time to inspect our electrical panel and found several instances of shoddy workmanship from a prior electrician that were hazards. He fixed those issues promptly and was able to answer all of our questions. Knowledgable,…

Lightning Bug came out a couple of times to help me with my office space. The first time, I wasn't too please and I was contacted by management, Tim. They came out later to address a separate issue and they handled that just fine.
Very pleasant experience all around. Tim, Jason and Scott were very knowledgeable and thorough in answering any of my questions. The pricing was reasonable. Really impressed by Jason’s genuine concern for customer service. Plan on using this company for all of my future electrical issues. Thanks for creating space to resolve my problem! You rock!
All of our experiences with Lightning Bug Electric have been fantastic! We have used them several times and will continue to do so whenever we need an electrician. The first was after we moved in, when James D. did a top-to-bottom review of the electrical and made several repairs and upgrades. The second time,…
