Steven and Preston did a great job. Steven clearly explained what might be possible, what was needed or not, and consulted others I. The company for an esoteric Sense monitor hookup. Great job!
Josh and his team were incredibly helpful and on task. I feel really good about the upgrades to my electrical system and confident that Josh will be quick to address any issues that arise.
I had several companies come out and give me a quote and all they wanted to do was up-sell me. I'm so glad I called Lighting Bug. Steven H came out and was very down to earth, he was more interested in assessing the problem and explaining how to fix it. His integrity and professionalism are what made me decide to go…
I am extremely satisfied with the work completed today. The technicians arrived on time, were professional throughout the entire project, and took the time to explain everything that was being installed and upgraded. The team replaced our old, corroded Square D pool panel with a brand-new pool panel installed near…
Lighting Bug services were called to repair ceiling fans. While here service technician Aaron identified a serious issue with our aged electrical panels which were definitely out of code and had been a product recall decades ago. LB Techs Aaron and Cairo diligently worked a very long day yesterday making sure that…
Very glad that I called the folks at Lighting Bug. Cody came out to give me my estimate and was very knowledgeable and helpful in solving for the issues I had with my home. He was also very quick to offer solutions that worked for me long term. Once scheduled Marcus and team were here exactly when they were…
Aaron (and Braeden) did a spectacular job replacing my electrical panel, breakers and running a new circuit. After initial inspection, he gave multiple levels of options to fix my problem, and explained each well. I felt I got the upgrades I needed to be safe and up to code while not overspending. He was thorough…
We had what I consider an emergency basically melt down of our very old electrical panel and all at our old house on Sunday. I did panicked calling around to find someone who could come out same day to help. LBE was the third place I called but the first one who was responsive and had someone at my door in what felt…
Griffen and Joseph did excellent work for me today. I had a laundry list of work that needed done, including a full replacement of my electrical panel, a replacement of my dryer outlet, and installing GFCIs. They were professional yet personable, and in some ways it felt like having a couple friends over to help.…
Lightning Bug has been doing a lot of work in a newly renovated house that we recently moved into. Today they came out to help repair an electrical outlet where stone had been installed as part of a new cabinet installation. They had done the new wiring for this, including adding an outlet for an espresso machine…
On Saturday, our AC unit went out. After replacing the capacitor, I noticed a very unusual smell coming from the breaker box. I immediately called Lightning Bug Electric, since I had used them before and I’m so glad I did. It turned out the original Challenger breaker panel had failed, and the breakers were…
Thank you to the Lighting Bug team for coming onsite and going the extra mile to get the project completed. Leo and Eddie, you are both amazing workers. Really enjoyed the positive attitude that you both brought to make this tedious project enjoyable and fun.
Lightning Bug Electric did an AMAZING job. I was experiencing intermittent issues with breakers tripping. LBE quickly arranged for Cody to come assess my home. He quickly diagnosed a significant danger with my panel overheating and provided a very approachable price to address the issues. LBE prioritized a…
Very thorough and accommodating. Took time to explain pros and cons to ensure the best course of action was selected.
Today was the best service by any contractor at our home ! Daniel was timely, thorough, knowledgeable and completely professional. He handled tranformer, landscape lighting, floodlight, new bathroom fixtures, etc. He was tireless. He is the best ambassador for your brand. We even joined your membership service…
They were super friendly and helpful! They explained what they were doing and why in layman’s terms.
I would give this company 10 stars if I could. My service team was awesome! Cody came out to do the assessment. He was personable and sensitive to my goals for my current home. Their quote was more reasonable than others by a large amount but their work was very thorough and professional. They did work that was…
Lightning bug did great work and were wonderful at communicating! Updating to add: Steve was awesome to work with! They came to fix a light fixture that had come loose, and left everything 5x better than they found it. Very competent, knowledgeable, and kind.
Came immediately and handled the job perfectly and professionally 10/10 would recommend
I've used LIghtning Bug several times for a wide variety of issues and upgrades with our 1960s home and they've been great! Griffen and Christian were standouts for their knowledge, skill, and professionalism plus a true get-it-done mentality. Cody was also great in proposing options with solutions that wouldn't…
Great friendly and efficient service! Daniel was informative and thorough about the work that needed to be done. Very satisfied!
Probably the worst experience I’ve ever had with a contractor. I don’t have the energy to type up everything that occurred but I probably spent close to $10k or better and I still have issues in my 5bed/3bath house that I was paying them to diagnose/fix. About 4k of that project was installing an EV charger and…
I’ve used different electricians over the years. I will never use anyone other than Lightning Bug going forward. If you’re looking for the cheapest electrician you can find, look elsewhere. If you want it done right, your search is over.
The workers were professional and updated us the progress of the work. Work was completed as promised. I was pleased with the service provided.
I have used LBE multiple times now. I originally picked them for their competitive pricing and great reviews. I waited to post a review until I had a few experiences with them. They (Christian & Kristian) updated the electrical panel for my whole house, which was a big job, and I also had some smaller jobs done by…
Fantastic Service & quality work. Will always use Lightning Bug in the future.
Very professional and friendly technicians. Leo and Jamal were terrific- on time and very knowledgeable. I highly recommend this company!
Quick response, honest assessment, competitive price, excellent workmanship. I have nothing but good things to say. My complements to Cody, Aaron and Steve on a job well done.
Editing an old review: We've used Lightning Bug for years, Most recently on 10/27 and 10/29, Clay came out and finished up wiring a new fan, 2 switches and a power outlet for a bathroom renovation. He was friendly, on time, and great to work with. While LB can be pricey (all electric work is) their work has been…
Steve literally saved my house from burning down! I bought a house two months ago and my inspector did a horrible job. I had to have my whole house re-piped and the plumbers noticed the electrical wasn’t up to code. Steve jumped right on it and immediately found a breaker that was burning. He changed out my…
Cody was very thorough and knowledgeable. He spent a good deal of time explaining the process, product and safety of our issue.
Just completed the fourth project with Lightning bug and will continue to use them for any and all electrical work in our home. Very professional in their work. Meticulous, thorough and neat. Highly recommend!
I had Cody over for an inperson review of the work needed and after an evaluation, scheduled a visit for the very next day. Cameron, Chris and Christian were fantastic. Knowledgeable, friendly, and effiecient. I am very satisfied with their work & highly recommend them!
Excellent service from the quote to the work! The whole team was awesome- I will definitely use them for all my future electrical needs!
We recently engaged several companies to get some quotes for some long overdue work, and Lightning Bug was fantastic to work with. Bryson came out took a look at things, and was able to explain in clear terms what he felt would be best, and why. He walked us through what to expect the 'day of' so we were well…
Steven was professional, on time, explained all the repairs, and quickly had everything fixed after parts were ordered. Will definitely use them again. Every time we have used this company, it has always been a pleasure to deal with them and very professional.
Lightning Bug is great. Their quote was 35% of a competitor. Their work was thorough and they really went the extra mile. They offered some optional upgrades with a true soft sale tact that I appreciated. They showed me what everything would cost even as we changed the plan as we went. The entire process was great.…
Finally a service business that treats you well! This company has the friendliest technicians I've ever been in contact with! They keep you up to date with anything that happens with your services and are always honest about exactly what you need to get you a fair price. I've never had a bad technician; they're so…
Steven was prompt, professional and willing to walk me through all the changes and the reasons why. I was very impressed and would highly recommend!
Very professional and thorough, their people couldn't be nicer.
Jeremiah and Don were very friendly, helpful and thorough. They were conscientious and seemed genuinely concerned about our safety.. Their work was already tested by a lightening strike which resulted in no electrical damage.
We trust this company explicitly. Their expertise and their staff, especially Steven are very hard to come by these days. We highly recommend LBE.
Best electric company I've had the pleasure of using. They were fast, efficient, patient, and willing to work with my budget. Will be using them for all projects going forward for sure.
The team from LBE was amazing. I'm a former contractor. It's great to see real professional tradesmen that hold themselves and the quality of their work to higher standards than even those required by code. They upgraded the service and rewired my 1962 model home which I knew was not going to be an easy project.…
Very responsive, and clearly very concerned with good quality customer service. They were kind all around and patient with all our questions.
Lightning Bug did a wonderful job with a project that turned out to be much bigger than we anticipated. Steven was always professional, communicative, and thorough! Highly recommend.
I've been using Lightning Bug for all of my electrical needs since 2016, when I lived in Dunwoody. They've always gone above and beyond, Bobby and James and Josh in particular, even coming out when I moved to Lilburn before it was technically part of their service area! Most recently they did a bunch of work on my…
Steven was great. He inspected, talked with us about the problem(s) and explained carefully. He was ready to do the work. We are happy we went with Lightning bug.
Although, not the cheapest, customer service was exceptional. Justin was knowledgeable and explained all our options. Would recommend using Lightning Bug.
Has been Generally good.
Had to have a power mast replaced and a panel repaired. They did an outstanding job. I would highly recommend them anytime.
We’ve had wonderful experiences with LBE. Steven has done a phenomenal job each time he’s been out. We’re glad to have found a reliable, straight-forward company. They were higher than the other quotes we received, but the quality of work was worth the extra money.
Great service
Responsive and got the job done so I could have electricity as soon as everything could be done by all parties involved to supply it.
Dakota C. has come by twice in the last two weeks for separate issues. He quickly found the cause of both problems, explained and recommended solutions in a friendly, professional way, and fixed it all. He was willing and eager to answer all our questions and went out of his way to explain ways to avoid the same…
10/10 would recommend
Jeremy and Chris were awesome! They just completed full panel replacements for both sides of the duplex I recently purchased. Not only were both replacements done thoroughly and efficiently, they also helped troubleshoot shoddy electrical practices by the previous owner and helped put plans in place to remedy those…
Steven was the electrician. He was polite, knowledgeable and professional and he took time to explain the issues and then the options available. I would absolutely use Steven again

Dakota was fantastic! He was prompt, honest, and worked hard to solve my electrical issue. Thanks for a job well done!
The circuit breaker in my home was faulty. Your technician and his associate recognized the problem and fixed it. They were very professional and respected my home while doing an inspection indoors. That says a lot about a true professional. I would recommend your company to anyone. A job well done. Thanks.
Great experience overall - and impressed with the professionalism and knowledge of our tech, Steven. We would definitely use Lightning Bug again and recommend them to others.
I had a bunch of stuff that needed to be done, and Cody was recommended by a neighbor. Called to ask if earlier day would work for an early inspection visit to survey the work, and came next day with a crew of 4 to complete it. Price was decent, all things considered, but service, communication and quality were…
I want to commend the entire team, consisting of Leo, Cale, Scuba, Orlando, Jordan, and Rigo; for exemplary customer service. I will definitely refer this company to my family and coworkers. This team was professional, knowledgeable, and exceeded my expectations.
Cody provided us with absolutely AMAZING service. He was very professional and detailed and really listened to my concern. He went above and beyond to make sure we were satisfied with replacing all the breakers in our panel. Looking forward to having him do future work for us!
Cale Y and his helpers were great! I will definitely be using Lightening Bug Electric again for all of my future electrical needs. They were professional, extremely knowledgeable, went above and beyond, and also left the house very clean. I highly recommend this company!
Steven from LBE was so helpful, and because of him, I feel more confident and educated about my electrical system. He listened, answered every question, never once pressured me, worked hard all day, and was the best I've ever had, explaining the problem, cost, building codes, how to prevent future issues, and my…
I had a bad breaker for my dryer outlet. Justin came out and replaced the breaker. He also gave me an estimate to replace the breaker box as it is worn out and need replacing.

Lightning Bug performed the electrical work for my finished basement project and I cannot express how pleased I am with their work. It was a large project (870 sq ft from stud framing) and there were a few changes along the way. Coleman, the master electrician, was very communicative throughout the project, asked…

Cody was fantastic. Such a good worker and very pleasant! Diligent, focused, persistent! Explained everything and told me exactly what he was going to do! I’ll use him again!
They were able to quickly install and run conduit for our new breaker boxes. They took care of everything and were awesome to work with.
I obtained quotes and recommendations from 4 qualified electricians. Out of the 4, i knew right away that i wanted to work with Lightning Bug Electric as they really listened, took the time to explain different options, the pros and cons of such options, provided estimates for each option and they were the only one…
Great, knowledgeable service. Our electrician explained everything and couldn’t have been more helpful and interested in taking super care of us. Highly recommend Lighting Bug and our electrician Dakota.
Since day one Lightning Bug Electric has shown to deliver excellent service but Justin has gone above and beyond to meet my needs and make me feel that I had made the right choice when I picked them to work on my new home addition. Thank you Justin.
Used Lightening Bug to perform a repair after a tree branch knocked out our power. They ended up having to do a panel replacement and they did a great job.

Great company! The technicians Cale and Steven installed a chandelier and fixed 3 other lighting issues in our house. They were awesome. They did a great job and were friendly and on time. I recommend this company and I certainly recommend Cale and Steven. The prices were fair too.
I found this company by using listing on BBB and they are so responsive as I send request for appointment on the weekend and they continued to contact throughout the weekend to get an appointment that would work for me - I really like how they continue to check on you with appointment and they also contacted you if…
Both Justin and Gabe were an absolute joy to work with. They are professional, courteous, prompt, and incredibly knowledgeable. We’ve worked with other vendors in the past, but Lightening Bug really took the time to explain what was needed (and not needed), and why. We had recess lighting installed in two rooms,…
Work was done efficiently and neatly. Steve and his co-worker kept me informed throughout the process and performed the job to my wishes. While not the cheapest company the service was worth the price.
Justin was very professional and worked with me for the most reasonable solution for my electrical issues, while making sure everything was safe and to code. Also I received a 5% veteran discount. Thanks again!
I've been putting off known electrical issues for way too long. Called Lightning Bug this morning, thinking I'd have to wait for service but the tech was able to come right away. Justin is the best electrician hands down! We had a ton of work that needed to be done and he and Cal worked their butts off, staying until well after business hours on a Friday evening and was also able to get us a great deal!
We "lost a leg." That is the term that Georgia Power used. We had power in 20% of our house but not the rest. Our AC was part of the 80% that wasn't working. I called two electrical companies that handle the Marietta, GA area. I called Lighting Bug, and Mister Sparky around 7:30 am. After calling them both and…
Steven and Cale were excellent and kept us informed the entire time. They were professional, made the extra effort to avoid cutting drywall and worked hard all day to get the job done. I will not hesitate to call them in the future.

This work was performed by JJ Bardella of Lightning Bug Electric. He installed a 60 amp sub panel adjacent to the existing overloaded main panel and rerouted all overloaded circuitry to the new sub panel, for safety.
