Excellent and professional service! Always great work for a fair price. Highly recommended!
I've been to the shop twice; brakes, suspension, and oil change. They have always communicated clearly, in a timely manner, and provided notice of any updates. The folks here do good work, price their services reasonably, and give accurate cost and time estimates. I would recommend them!
Kevin and his team are top notch. My 2006 Scion XB was diagnosed and I was given a very fair estimate the same day I dropped it off (better service than most car shops I’ve been to). Repairs were completed quickly and correctly. Kevin was excellent with his communication throughout the entire process and made me…
I’m 68 years old and Kevin is the best and most honest mechanic I have ever had in my whole life! Kevin not only tells you what your vehicle needs, he’ll tell you if it doesn’t need it. There’s not a rating high enough for Major Minor Auto!
Kevin Minor was first my mechanic and now my friend because he is a great human being. He is a gifted mechanic and always charges fair prices. Whenever I take my car to any other mechanics, they never seem to diagnose the problem correctly, or end up trying to convince me into paying for a bunch of things that I…
Big shout out to Kevin. I went to three auto repair places in Chalmette who all wanted to just replace my engine. I did not want my engine changed on my son's 1999 Ford F-150. There is low mileage on it and I just needed a timing chain and heater core replaced. Kevin also informed me that we needed the manifold…
The mechanics at Major Minor are both skilled and honest. Kevin and Brandon have helped with both simple and complex repairs ranging from new tires to changing out a busted transmission. Their work is always solid and their prices are always fair. We live in the city and continue to bring our vehicles to Major Minor…
I can’t sing praises for Major Minor Auto Repair and Kevin, the owner, loud enough! I was afraid that my 99 Subaru needed a new transmission, and I didn’t want to pay to have it towed to a mechanic if it was toast. Kevin offered to came by my house in Holy Cross to test drive my car to see if it was even worth…
After 13 years living in New Orleans I finally found a supurb mechanic that I trust! Everyone at the shop was friendly & helpful right off the bat. I had my car towed there dead on arrival, but they quickly & accurately assessed the issue & it was fixed in no time! Thanks again Major Minor!
Kevin is a true professional and a fantastic mechanic. I am always worried about going to automotive places because I am not truly sure of the work being done and what cost I should expect. Kevin has always been truthful about the mechanical problems, what may be required to fix them, the cost, and the time. It is…
This is one of the good guys people look for and keep using their entire life. Good work, fair price. When my old guy was gouging me, Kevin gave me a fair price, and did great work. Can't recommend this place enoughy.
