The MetroMotors in Georgetown is my go-to place for Everything car related. They really know what they are doing! And they truly care about your car, and appreciate having your business. Caleb is always welcoming! . . . whether the problem is minor or major.
Great mechanics and very conscientious! Rigo (head mechanic) knows everything.
I had two recent positive experiences at Metro Motor Georgetown Exxon. My car had broken down and Kalab stayed on the problem until it was resolved under a tight deadline. He also located a hard-to-find part for me to help keep my costs down. Kalab is professional, very knowledgeable, patient, and calm. He and…
Have been using this Metro Motor as my garage for years! Just had another great service completed by Jim, Caleb, and the team. Easy to work with them to diagnose the car, drop off, and pick up!

Having to have my car repaired, for whatever reason, is painless when at Georgetown Exxon. Jamie and everyone at the shop is always courteous, professional and sensitive to my needs. I am always satisfied and never doubt that they will help me anytime I need.
Ray and Kalab were great. The location is super convenient after school drop off.

Always prompt and efficient
Very easy service appointment. Asked for an oil change but the technician searched the car’s service record and found some additional items that needed attention. I am grateful he did that because not the car’s service record is up to date.
Excellent and reliable service. Thanks.
Prompt, professional and convenient service always.
Ask for Jamie! Friendly. No BS
Great service by Jamie! Jamie is the best!
Jamie and his team always do a fantastic job! They are thoughtful, courteous and never over charge. In fact, for simple things they often don’t charge anything. I highly recommend them

Janie and his team do a fantastic job. Very reasonable and always honest not only in their assessments but on repairs in terms of cost and timeframes. Highly recommended!
Incredibly well organized. Great communication. Work was well done!
Jamie and his team are competent, communicative, and helpful beyond reasonable expectation. I have only had positive experiences during each visit with this service station. I highly recommend the professional and courteous work done by this well-managed and reliable business.
We have been taking our car to Metro for several years for maintenance and repairs and have always been pleased with their efficient service. We recommend them without hesitation.
These guys are smart, careful and fair. I always check in w/them first and am always satisfied.
Metro Motor has excellent mechanics and Jamie is a great Manager. My husband and I have been very pleased with how Metro has maintained our car.
Jamie and his crew are honest and professional. I recommend this business. It is good to have a good mechanic in the neighborhood.
Once again METRO Motors ha given me prompt and successful service. The Manager Jamie has diagnosed my problems, had has his staff of experts fix the the problems on my 2005 Jaguar Estate Wagon.
Jamie got my car in quick and had it running the next day.
I couldn't start my daughter's car despite going through the checklist of possible culprits. From a parking space in Georgetown, the car was towed to Metro Motor with us having no prior knowledge of the company and little understanding of auto mechanics. Jamie and his team could have told us anything. After…
Janie and his team do a great job with car repair and advice. They are responsive, timely and efficient. And are nice to do business with.
Did good work. Was expensive but that's not surprising for Georgetown.
I have been coming here for 10 years and always have a wonderful experience and prompt service completed. Jamie and the team check my vehicles thoroughly and always perform the services professionally and efficiently. I always feel secure that my vehicles are in great hands while being serviced here. Thank you!
Excellent service, helpful navigating around my busy schedule. Reasonably priced. Will absolutely bring my car back here for both routine and emergent maintenance.
Pros: - Professional / Quality - Clear communication - Speed (2 day turn around after dropping off the car late) Cons: - Expensive City Shop, paid about 50% more than what I would expect to pay. I was quoted 650 to replace a starter where I expect that to cost 350-400. Ultimately paid 600 after negotiating.…
Great experience! My go to in Washington for any work on my vehicle.
Always extremely professional and reasonable on price (especially for the heart of DC!!). I work on lots of my cars myself and trust these guys to do a great job.
Very helpful and friendly. Clear in explaining what was wrong and how to prevent future difficulties. I’m new in town so it was a great relief to find an honest and very good mechanic. Came by once to make an appointment for a minor repair. Brian came out to look at the issue and was able to pop things back into…
Great experience with this Metro Motors! Had our 16 year old Volvo towed here by triple A and they diagnosed the problem quickly and fixed it at a fair rate. We’d gone to Capital Hill Metro Motors in the best and recommend both highly! Great trustworthy mechanics.
Jamie and the staff of Metro Motor are always reliable and trustworthy. I highly recommend them to anyone who needs to have their car serviced. They are efficient but take the time and care to make sure they do a great job and get your vehicle back in working order.

Had my car services 2x. Staff very attentive and cordial from check-in thru check-out. Troubles were quickly diagnosed + fixed, staff kept me informed throughout the process. Highly recommend...
Very convenient and courteous service.
My husband was traveling in dc for work when his car broke down. Turns out the shifter cable needed to be replaced. Jamie and team were able to get it done in less than 24 hours!
Over the years, Jamie and his team have taken great care of our vehicles. The quality of their work is high and their service fast and reliable, but almost more important is the personal care they tale with their clients. While the service departments of large dealerships take appointments and communicate with…
Considerate, quality care. My repair shop of choice.
They always do a great job and in a timely fashion. They are also attentive to communicating before they do the work once they have found the problem.
I have used this service station ever since Jamie started to run it. So they have been the only people I have used on at least five different cars. They do great work, at a great price, and always quickly. Jamie will remember you, and if you come from another part of the country like me it will remind you of what…
Always the best service!
I moved to Washington DC from San Francisco about two years ago. When I was in San Francisco which was my hometown I had lots of trusted advisers including an incredible car maintenance garage. When I moved to DC I didn’t know where to go so I went to the dealer. I won’t go into the details but the battery cost some…
New to the area, first time using MetroMotors...quick appointment setting, same day service, accurate pickup time. Fantastic experience.
Georgetown Exxon has been great. They get everything fixed right the first time and provide friendly service at reasonable prices. I highly recommend them
Jamie and his colleagues are always friendly, professional, and provide fast service!
Had oil changed - they were quick, professional, and accommodating
My experience at Metro Motor was excellent! Jamie was very professional, knew what parts were needed to fix the car and took care of ordering them. It was a quick turnaround from the time he got the parts in to my car being completely fixed. Jamie made sure to follow up and make sure that the car was fixed properly…
I was visiting my friend who lives in Dupont Circle. I woke up to a dead battery after driving from North Carolina the day before. After receiving a jump, I called Metro Motor and asked if they could change my battery on a Friday afternoon. I was afraid I would have to drive out to one of the many auto parts stores…
I just took my car to Metro Motor at Georgetown Exxon for the first time as I was looking for a more conveniently located repair shop. I came in for an oil change, to have the check engine light turned off, and for a overall safety check. They said they could take my car the same day that I called. I dropped off the…
