I have now used Metro Motor -Georgetown for the second time. The experience was again exceptional. I called at 8:15am for service. By 9:45 am my oil change was complete; my service records updated. I was blown away by the professionalism that the team which served me displayed. I historically taken my work to a…
The MetroMotors in Georgetown is my go-to place for Everything car related. They really know what they are doing! And they truly care about your car, and appreciate having your business. Caleb is always welcoming! . . . whether the problem is minor or major.
I have loved this MetroMotor for years and the new manager Jim makes it even better. Free car wash and a free water on top of excellent services rendered truly make this a neighborhood gem. And my car now has perfect new brakes!
Great service finished quickly. Personnel are friendly and helpful. Reasonably priced.
Excellent service , always on time, and very personable. Always friendly and trustworthy! Tended to my needs immediately!!!
Fast oil change and friendly staff
Having to have my car repaired, for whatever reason, is painless when at Georgetown Exxon. Jamie and everyone at the shop is always courteous, professional and sensitive to my needs. I am always satisfied and never doubt that they will help me anytime I need.
Ray and Kalab were great. The location is super convenient after school drop off.
The guys at Metro Motor Georgetown always take great care of me and my car and they do it in a timely and friendly way. They are my go-to service station for many years and various cars.
Visiting from out of town. Car accident caused numerous areas of damage. Driver was seriously ill and left car at Metro Motor (which was found by good luck) before being hospitalized. Kalab at Metro Motor was kind, patient, and helpful beyond belief. He was a gift from God. He worked with us to coordinate the…
Always prompt and efficient
Surprised at the price rate compared to other shops for less professional and effective services. They do not offer a broad amount of services involving engine maintenance, nor do they use quality parts or oils. Confused at how they are so highly rated, with other shops close by doing much better work at much more…
Took my car in for an oil change after being explicitly told by the front desk that they used Mobil 1 fully synthetic. Only after the work was completed did I learn from the mechanic that they actually use Ardeca oil. Charging premium prices while misrepresenting the serivce/product is a poor reflection. This was not an honest service.
Metro Motor in Georrgetown has been a gift to me every time I have used them. My life is fast. They help me quickly every time. And Jamie, the owner, makes sure that the work is done well top-notch. I also add for a Georgetown garage the prices are reasonable. Never price gouging or squirrelly additions.
Very easy service appointment. Asked for an oil change but the technician searched the car’s service record and found some additional items that needed attention. I am grateful he did that because not the car’s service record is up to date.
Ask for Jamie! Friendly. No BS
Great service by Jamie! Jamie is the best!
Jamie and his team always do a fantastic job! They are thoughtful, courteous and never over charge. In fact, for simple things they often don’t charge anything. I highly recommend them
Jamie and his excellent team have been taking care of my 2004 VW for many years. They are very professional, prompt and reasonable. I am fortunate to have benefited from their care and attention. Jim Wallace
This is my go to place for oil change and all other car related repairs. They are extremely efficient and reliable! Everyone I have dealt with is extremely friendly and knowledgeable.
Jamie and his team are the best
Janie and his team do a fantastic job. Very reasonable and always honest not only in their assessments but on repairs in terms of cost and timeframes. Highly recommended!
Jamie and his team are competent, communicative, and helpful beyond reasonable expectation. I have only had positive experiences during each visit with this service station. I highly recommend the professional and courteous work done by this well-managed and reliable business.
We have been taking our car to Metro for several years for maintenance and repairs and have always been pleased with their efficient service. We recommend them without hesitation.
These guys are dependable and fair and easy to work with!
They did a wonderful job, and the work was finished in less than 24 hours and the cost was reasonable. And they made a list of items for me to consider down the road. Overall, excellent in every way.
Metro Motor has excellent mechanics and Jamie is a great Manager. My husband and I have been very pleased with how Metro has maintained our car.
Professional people who are excellent preforming the service required.
Great service, and great management. They’re able to get my car in and out in one day. Thanks Jamie!
While in D.C. from out of town, we needed urgent help with our car. We called Metro Motor Georgetown Exxon and were told to bring it right in for diagnostics and repairs. (AAA towed it there from our hotel in the West End.) The estimate for work came fast, and we had our car back in 24 hours, leaving plenty of time…
I have been coming here for 10 years and always have a wonderful experience and prompt service completed. Jamie and the team check my vehicles thoroughly and always perform the services professionally and efficiently. I always feel secure that my vehicles are in great hands while being serviced here. Thank you!

DC
Excellent and timely service! I’ll definitely be using them again. Highly recommend.
Metro Motor Exxon Georgetown is amazing. We’ve been using them for years and they never disappoint. Jamie and his team do a great job of explaining what needs to be done (even to somebody who doesn’t understand cars at all) and they deliver prompt service. Will continue to come back for all my car needs big or small!
Did the job right on time. Organized and communicative. Well done
Excellent service-reasonably priced
I am new to the area and found this place on google for an oil change, tire rotation etc.. everything went great and I’d recommend to anyone. They took my car last minute on a Friday, finished by the end of the day, and have extended pick up hours for people who can’t get there by closing. Overall good stuff!
Great service. First time oil change with them. wasn’t given an ETA (they’re quite busy) but I called in to see if they could expedite, and they made that happen. Drop your car off earlier than 8am (or the night before) for a quick turnaround.
Super helpful and responsive. I would recommend to anybody looking for a mechanic in town!
They were able to schedule a dead battery replacement and oil change with the work being done in 24 hours. It is great to be able to pick up the car until they close at 11:00 pm…makes it so easy!
Very convenient and courteous service.
I had a check engine light on. Took my car to another shop and they said they would have to replace some entire system at roughly $1,000. Brought to Jamie for a second opinion - one part, less than half the cost, and could get it done in time for me to pick up my son from PreK. Sold!
Prompt, effective service at a very reasonable rate! Will use again for any car servicing
This is THE BEST auto service station in DC. Jamie, the service manager, is incredibly professional and competent and helpful. The whole team is talented and hard working. The quality of their service is sky high! They seek to help the customer with courtesy and great kindness. This is by far the best service…
Fast service and professional!
I moved to Washington DC from San Francisco about two years ago. When I was in San Francisco which was my hometown I had lots of trusted advisers including an incredible car maintenance garage. When I moved to DC I didn’t know where to go so I went to the dealer. I won’t go into the details but the battery cost some…
The Ouismam Dodge dealership was unable to change the oil in my 2500 Promaster, but didn't find out that until I got there. Called Metro Motor and they were able to take my van and turn it around in under an hour. Jamie and his crew are solid. Highly recommend.
Georgetown Exxon has been great. They get everything fixed right the first time and provide friendly service at reasonable prices. I highly recommend them
Great service as always. I've used Metro Motor over the years for oil changes, tire punctures, and most recently to replace my tires. They always provide clear information and deliver top quality work. The community is very lucky to have Jamie and his team in the neighborhood.
The technicians at Metro Motors are fantastic, especially Jamie. I brought in my Audi SUV for oil servicing. Jamie’s sharp eyes noticed something hanging lose underneath the front of the car and fixed it at no cost. They always keep you informed about the status of your car and perform a thorough checkup to see if anything else requires attention.
Fast, friendly, and professional!
Jamie goes out of his way to deliver great service. I can always depend on this station. Wouldn’t go anywhere else!!
I had a bunch of repairs to have done and Jamie and team were communicative, professional and very helpful. The work was well done and on time. Tis is not the first time I’ve used this shop and, while I live in Virginia, it won’t be the last. Thanks guys!
I just took my car to Metro Motor at Georgetown Exxon for the first time as I was looking for a more conveniently located repair shop. I came in for an oil change, to have the check engine light turned off, and for a overall safety check. They said they could take my car the same day that I called. I dropped off the…
As a new resident to DC, I needed to find a reliable, convenient, and quality auto care center for oil changes, regular services, and other auto repairs as needed. Metro Motor ticked all the boxes. Professional, efficient, and friendly. Easy to make appointment online. All service done well.
My car broke down at 1am. Had it towed to the Metro Motor in Georgetown. By 8am at opening, I called them and they immediately picked up and found out what was wrong within the hour. They had my alternator replaced, battery charged, and oil changed all by 1pm the following day. A 12 hour turnaround period!…
These guys are great . Honest , trustworthy and actually do what they say they will do. Class act and always professional.. Highly recommend without hesitation. Wish there were more Jamie Ladson’s in the world .
Extremely great customer service, they are busy but will fit you in and call when your car is ready, prompt, quality, trustworthy service
I have always had great experiences servicing my Jeep at this Exxon. Their pricing is good and they are very knowledgeable.
My 15-year-old Mini Cooper needed a lot of TLC, and she was transformed after a visit to Jamie’s shop. The exhaust system was noisy and in terrible shape, and she’s running great now. I felt confident that I was in good hands and that all the proposed repairs were essential. They really went above and beyond, and…
My main reason for going to MetroMotors (for the past 20 years) is Jamie Ladson. He is responsive, accommodating., professional, organized and knowledgeable AND he has assembled a great team who he meet his expectations at his insistence. He is also a good communicator. Thank you Jamie!
I’ve used Metro Motors a few times and have been very satisfied. They were quick to help, communicated promptly on what needed to be repaired, gave me a cost estimate and after my ok they got the job done promptly. They also follow up to check if everything is satisfactory. I appreciate that.
Professional, on time, did a great job, car runs smoothly, very nice to work with

Such a good auto shop—the owner was flexible, communicative and very helpful, the work was done quickly and the pricing was fair. In all an enjoyable, hassle free experience.
I have been coming to Georgetown Exxon for years. Jamie and his team are extremely trust worthy- and the few times I have gotten a second quote- they have always been compatible or less. In fact when my old car was needing increasing repairs - and I kept bringing it to Jamie, it was him that told me that the repairs…
Jaime and the staff are great! Fair-priced, honest, quality service and responsive, and fast. I have been coming here for a number of years and I always have a great experience. This is the most consumer friendly, helpful, professional, service I have ever had for my BMWs. The work is excellent and the prices are fair. They even save you money when they can. They take pride in their work and they accommodate consumers every way they can. I feel so fortunate to have them in my neighborhood. (Wisconsin & Q streets, NW)
Always timely in their repairs. Always call with estimates. I feel confident in their ability to do the work.
Jamie and team are true professionals. Trustworthy, quality work, and great communications - always on time with repairs and clear about plans and costs. We don’t go anywhere else for repairs, large or small.
Good service, great customer communication.
