Cheerio got the VIP treatment. It was her first appointment with a vet and they were very accommodating since I wasn’t sure how my dog would be around other dogs. They checked her out thoroughly and explained everything. Cheerio loved these people.

Dr. Klinger and staff were very kind and informative about my little pup's situation and did not try and tell me or sell me things that she did not need. We've trusted our cats' care to Mission Valley Pet Clinic for decades. They always do a great job, both the staff and the veterinarians.
Cheerio got the VIP treatment. It was her first appointment with a vet and they were very accommodating since I wasn’t sure how my dog would be around other dogs. They checked her out thoroughly and explained everything. Cheerio loved these people.

My review is well past overdue, but better late than never! I can’t say enough good things about the incredible staff at Mission Valley Pet Clinic and the caring environment they provide. They made sure my sweet and spicy kitty Lily - and my goofy leash-reactive snack seeking pup Remi - were comfortable, well-taken care of, and treated them like they were their own beloved pet. Both Lily and Remi had complicated medical issues, and through the years, the team always took the time to listen patiently, never pushed for unnecessary procedures, made it easy for me to find cost effective Rx options, and considered all possible treatments by thinking outside the box. They became family. A special call-out to Melissa and Sarah who always went above and beyond with compassion, professional expertise, and understanding ~ including when it came time to help Lily and Remi cross the rainbow bridge. Dr. Herrera, who has such a fantastic bedside manner, never gave up trying to find ways to help Remi and collaborated with me versus dismissing my concerns. So many people to mention (Jessica, Erica, the list goes on) ~ please know how much I appreciate each and every one of you. Bottom line: I highly recommend MVPC to any pet parent in the area!

I have now entrusted three of my pets to this clinic, and I cannot say enough good things about the care, compassion, and professionalism of the entire team.
Most recently, they helped me through the passing of my 17-year-old cat with incredible kindness, respect, and dignity. During one of the most difficult moments a pet owner can face, the staff made sure both my cat and my family were treated with genuine compassion. I will always be grateful for the comfort and support they provided.
Sarah has been amazing every step of the way. She is knowledgeable, caring, and always willing to take the time to answer questions and help us make informed decisions about our pets' care. Dr. Klinger is wonderful and consistently provides thoughtful, thorough care that gives us confidence that our pets are in the best hands.
I heard Melissa is leaving and I want to make sure it is known how appreciated she was! People like Melissa are a huge part of what makes this clinic so special. Her kindness, warmth, and dedication have left a lasting impression on so many families, and she will truly be missed.

I’m giving this place one star because they misplaced my dog’s fecal sample. I had to call to find out why I never received the results.
