Nixxit was very professional and timely in picking up unused appliances and a kayak. I chose Nixxit because they will find a new home for everything. Nixxit made the pickup easy and the team that picked it up was friendly and professional. Second time I’ve used them with no worries or concerns.
Quick furniture removal from apartment, thanks!
Update 4/2026: Had them take my old sectional couch and they did it in about 15 minutes and well within the time they gave me. I've also had them haul a second broken exercise bike in 2025 and they did quality work then as well. If you're local and need stuff removed, book with Nixxit. Amazing service. Had a broken…
I used Nixxit yet again to haul some things out of my storage unit. Dimitri and Eric were great with keeping me posted on their ETA. They were right on time as always! Every one of Nixxit’s employees who I’ve had the pleasure of working with have been amazing! They are extremely respectful, polite, efficient, professional. Nixxit is the best!
So good I used them twice! Amazing. Amazing people, amazing process. Efficient, kind, professional and funny - very important to me when dealing with cleaning out my mom’s hoarding situation.
First time having furniture picked up and Nixxit made it great experience! Intuitive, simple, fast, and friendly. I’m glad to have found a local pick up service that helps dispose of my furniture responsibly!
It was easy! Having it be donated, rather than landfilled was really important to me. Thanks Nixxit...
They arrived early, transparently priced, thorough, and were super fast. I feel so freee
Bryce and Ian were polite, friendly, respectful and efficient. I hired Nixxit because of a very difficult family situation and their kindness was so appreciated. The whole process from booking online the day before to communication and completion was smooth and easy. Thank you Nixxit!
Quick, professional service, and was able to get same day pick ups.
This review is way overdue! I’ve hired Nixxit four or five times over the past year for a range of decluttering projects, and every experience has been fantastic. Everyone I’ve worked with has been so friendly, helpful, and respectful of our home and belongings. They even helped me carry a couch down a flight of…
Absolutely fantastic experience. Every communication was prompt, professional, and caring. Their price was better than 1-800-GOT-JUNK. Sarah’s advance estimate was spot on, and Martin and David, who did pickup, were warm, professional, and efficient. They took our donations, trash, and recycling, and now I feel like I can finally settle into my new house!
Nixxit just completed the fifth job I have hired them for in various locations. Most recently was the cleanout of a family home with 68 years of accumulated stuff. They arrived on time, four guys, 2 trucks working non stop and taking care of furniture to be donated and asking questions when needed. The former…
Great communication throughout the process, super friendly staff, and quick!
I have used Nixxit many times in the past - and they will always be my go-to company in the future. I love that they donate the household things that I no longer need but definitely don't belong in the landfill. I have repeatably found them responsive, friendly, efficient, and dependable.
What a great experience. The communication and service is truly second to none. I contacted Nixxit on a Thursday afternoon and had a FaceTime meeting with a representative shortly thereafter during which time I received an extremely reasonable quote. By 10am the next day, all of the items I wanted removed, were gone. I highly recommend these folks!
Trevor and Martin were wonderful. So respectful and efficient and great advocates for Nixxit
I cannot say enough good things about Nixit. David and Travis were so helpful and made quick work of my 2 TVs and broken chairs There wasn't much stuff for them to take, so it only took around 20 minutes. A burden was taken off my shoulders. And they were reasonably priced. I couldn't have asked for more. Thanks Sarah!
David and Dillon are true professionals. They are amazing workers and provide excellent customer service. Explained everything before starting the job; cost, time to complete and fees for disposal of items. We will contract with Nixxit again and recomend highly to friends and family. Thank you!
I have used Nixxit over a half dozen times since November 2021. They are an EXCELLENT company & team of professionals. They are personable, professional, reliable and an all around GREAT organization. You will not find a better company or team than Nixxit. I know because I’d called a few companies before them…

Everyone you will speak with when you call is so polite, drivers and techs are also amazing, communicate effectively and respectfully of the property and always show’s professional! I appreciate that and will continue to use their services! (I’ll grab a few photos next time)
FANTASTIC! 😍 Bryce and Trevor were communicative, educational, and super kind! Respected how valuable tike is and showed great respect to the space. Ready to have them come hang out in all the new space we have! Felt like my neighbors doing me a favor. Huge win!
They were prompt to respond and arrive and the guys were friendly and professional and dealt easily with last minute changes.
Immediate response to my request. Removal team called with ETA well in advance. Explained the process clearly and professionally and got straight to loading the furniture. They arrived on time and was done in 10 minutes. I expected an increase in my quote because I had added two extra items to the load but cost…
I have used Nixxit several times now, and will never use another service. They are fantastic - easy to book with, incredibly helpful and flexible, and I love that they donate what they can. I recommended them to a friend who was moving out of her home in Piedmont recently, and I think she ended up having them come…
So happy I hired this company. The crew had such a great attitude despite all the stairs, junk removal and upright piano! This is the company to hire if you need anything removed from your home.
Update 9-7-23: Many thanks to Nixxit for another excellent job of clearing out my garage full of furniture, larger items, and smaller items. Nixxit is professional, efficient, and their cost is reasonable. I also appreciate their efforts to donate reusable items to minimize the landfills. I highly recommend Nixxit.
Great crew. Handled all our extensive needs. Will use again!
Junk removal for commercial space. Amazing response time and transparency through the whole process. Very efficient the day of. I love that they recycle. We had some old display shelving that we weren't using and they went to someone else here in Castro Valley that could use them. Would definitely use again!
Awesome, awesome, awesome. Cannot say enough good about Nixxit and its *whole* team. So helpful, professional, friendly, punctual. Hired them 2x for hauling for stressful, unexpected move and they helped make it less stressful. Hauled junk, furniture, you name it. Have already recommended to friends. Would hire again in a heartbeat.
The movers were very professional and nice. They showed up on time and the service didn’t take a long time. This is a super convenient service and we will be using it again for other large box disposal!
Contactless haul away of treadmill, desk, electronics, and some household items. Super easy and reasonably priced. Love that it's a women-owned business as well.
I highly recommend Nixxit Junk Removal. The guys that came out were courteous, professional, kind and respectful. They were also very efficient and had all of my junk removed within an hour. I will definitely recommend them to others.

I just used Nixxit for the FIFTH time! I think that says it all!!
Excellent, professional, and courteous assistance! I’m really happy with their work!
They showed up in an hour. Communicated everything perfectly. David and Martin were super personable. They even swept up before they left!
Will use Nixxit again. The haulers we're extremely professional & polite. They picked up everything we had scheduled along with the couple extra items. Working with them and getting everything hauled out was a smooth task. Scheduling our pickup and communication from the main branch was very easy to do and the reps.…
Both were very nice guys. They even hooked up my TV again after having to take all the cable cords off to remove the TV stand!
Nixxit was wonderful and so easy to work with. I had some furniture, a mattress, trash and recycling from moving out. They came and packed it super efficiently in under 20 minutes! Plus a discount for my putting things on the curb. Wonderfully communicative beforehand, kind and professional - would highly recommend.
Used I have used Nixxit twice, and I love their service. More than just hauling things away, they work to rehome reuse, and donate as many items as they can. We have been cleaning out our home as empty-nesters, and we feel confident that we are not just sending everything to a landfill. The staff is courteous,…
I am constantly using Nixxit for my clients! It's a local, woman owned business and everyone I've ever worked with there is outstanding. Something that is really important to me in my business is to keep as much out of landfill as possible. Nixxit helps me do that. I love them and my clients love them too!
This is my second time hiring Nixxit. This experience was just like the first. I was communicated with prior to their arrival and they arrived when they said they would. the Nixxit crew was very friendly and professional, and i believe it was a good value for the services. i will definitely call on Nixxit again. thank you!
Trevor pointed out what of my "junk" could be donated or recycled to keep a green footprint, which I'm happy for. He even advised me on my e-waste. All was done in a re-assuring and friendly manner. I'm happy to do business with Nixxit!
Trevor called 2 hours before the scheduled time because they had an opening and asked if I was ok with an earlier pickup. Awesome! 2 friendly and very polite fellows soon showed up and they were fast and very efficient. We were impressed to see an extra truck come by as they weren’t sure everything would fit into…
I would highly recommend this service. They treated my home respectfully when removing furniture and other items. Pleasant and professional service. Reasonably priced and quality work.
The Nixxit Team was great! They were priced a lot more reasonably than other junk haulers we have used in the past. These guys are the best! So kind and professional, and we have been able to get them same day. We’ve used them multiple times and will again!
Had a good experience with them. Online booking was super easy and they communicated with me (mainly through text) so I always knew what to expect. On the day scheduled, Mark and Martin came to our residence and were competent, personable and great to work with during this project! I would highly recommend Nixxit for your next job... support locally owned business please!
I had a positive experience from beginning to end. I had a mix of furniture to donate and scrap materials left over from a recent remodel and they took it all away. The team was pleasant and professional. The process was straightforward and stress free. I would definitely use this service again.
They were courteous, fast and efficient.

Dave and his crew, who took care of our pick up was courteous, friendly, on-time, and provided excellent service over all and finished the job in quick fashion. Highly recommended and I would use them again in a heart beat!! 5 Stars plus
This is a long overdue review. When we were in the throes of moving, we just had a bunch of stuff we didn't need anymore and Nixxit was able to deal with it for us. I liked knowing the usable items would be donated and the waste would be properly disposed of. Everything was easy and the job came in under the estimated price.
