I DON’T often leave reviews!! But, I’ved used Nixxit for the past few years and the number one thing I love about Nixxit is that they don’t try to hit you with surprises at the end and when they’re finished, they leave the area so clean you won’t even remember you had junk to begin with. Sarah you are the best!
Update 4/2026: Had them take my old sectional couch and they did it in about 15 minutes and well within the time they gave me. I've also had them haul a second broken exercise bike in 2025 and they did quality work then as well. If you're local and need stuff removed, book with Nixxit. Amazing service. Had a broken…
So good I used them twice! Amazing. Amazing people, amazing process. Efficient, kind, professional and funny - very important to me when dealing with cleaning out my mom’s hoarding situation.
This review is way overdue! I’ve hired Nixxit four or five times over the past year for a range of decluttering projects, and every experience has been fantastic. Everyone I’ve worked with has been so friendly, helpful, and respectful of our home and belongings. They even helped me carry a couch down a flight of…
Nixxit was prompt in responding to my request for a quote. The cost was reasonable and in line with competitors. They were very responsive, communicating via text to schedule the pick up, and accommodating when I requested a Certificate of Destruction 2 days before pick up (which required a redirect because that…
I have used Nixxit many times in the past - and they will always be my go-to company in the future. I love that they donate the household things that I no longer need but definitely don't belong in the landfill. I have repeatably found them responsive, friendly, efficient, and dependable.
Great experience. They communicated time they would arrive, arrived on-time, and quickly removed the furniture and TV I was discarding. I’d recommend this service provider and I’d use them again.
What a great experience. The communication and service is truly second to none. I contacted Nixxit on a Thursday afternoon and had a FaceTime meeting with a representative shortly thereafter during which time I received an extremely reasonable quote. By 10am the next day, all of the items I wanted removed, were gone. I highly recommend these folks!
Really amazing service! This is my 2nd time using them. Everyone was so kind/empathetic, communicative, and professional. I even received some valuable tips. They got everything done quickly! Happy to recommend their service to anyone and everyone.
The Nixxit process was so clear and easy and every single person we worked with from start to finish was friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. We had an amazing experience and will use them again in a heartbeat and refer them to anyone and everyone we know!
OMG—these guys are amazing! It started with the appointment booking which was friendly and easy and quick. Then they called a day in advance to remind me. Then they called the morning of to remind me. Then the driver called to narrow down the arrival window. Then they showed up on time, went right to work, carried…
David and Dillon are true professionals. They are amazing workers and provide excellent customer service. Explained everything before starting the job; cost, time to complete and fees for disposal of items. We will contract with Nixxit again and recomend highly to friends and family. Thank you!

Nixxit is the best! I used them for cleaning out my childhood home in San Francisco & now just moved out of our business office. Again, the guys were so professional & nice! I love that they fill trucks very nicely in order to use the space wisely & not overcharge us. I would recommend them to anyone. Thanks. Janet
Junk removal for commercial space. Amazing response time and transparency through the whole process. Very efficient the day of. I love that they recycle. We had some old display shelving that we weren't using and they went to someone else here in Castro Valley that could use them. Would definitely use again!
Awesome, awesome, awesome. Cannot say enough good about Nixxit and its *whole* team. So helpful, professional, friendly, punctual. Hired them 2x for hauling for stressful, unexpected move and they helped make it less stressful. Hauled junk, furniture, you name it. Have already recommended to friends. Would hire again in a heartbeat.
Great experience. Very professional workers. Will use them again.
Contactless haul away of treadmill, desk, electronics, and some household items. Super easy and reasonably priced. Love that it's a women-owned business as well.
I just used Nixxit for the FIFTH time! I think that says it all!!
This is the Second time I’ve used Nixxit Junk Removal and they NEVER disappoint!! I had 2 or 3 tv’s to throw out. Used I have used Nixxit twice, and I love their service. More than just hauling things away, they work to rehome reuse, and donate as many items as they can. Trevor pointed out what of my "junk" could be donated or recycled to keep a green footprint, which I'm happy for. He even advised me on my e-waste. All was done in a re-assuring and friendly manner. I'm happy to do business with Nixxit!
The Nixxit Team was great! They were priced a lot more reasonably than other junk haulers we have used in the past. Had a good experience with them. Online booking was super easy and they communicated with me (mainly through text) so I always knew what to expect. We had to empty my 95 year old father-in-law’s house. We needed to get it ready for selling. We live out of town and didn’t have a lot of time to do it. Enter Nixxit. We packed everything and Nixxit took all the boxes, old appliances, furniture, trash, etc. All in less time than estimated. They are not cheap but…

Great service, and helpful.
I had a bunch of old furniture and accumulated possessions in storage. Nixxit has always came through with excellent service and never let me down. I'm a Realtor so I tend to have houses that needs debris/trash removed before we list them for sale. They even have came to my personal residence to pick up debris that random people dump on the road. They're local, hard workers and all are great people to work with.
These guys are awesome! Women owned, green certified, local, and they don't landfill ANYTHING! The two who came to pick up my stuff were awesome, professional, kind, and they also happened to be running ahead of schedule which worked very well for me. They took stuff I wasn't entirely sure if they could take like…

I wholeheartedly recommend Nixxit. They came out to SF and had our whole house cleaned out in an hour. The guys couldn’t have been nicer and overall just a wonderful experience within the madness of moving. The prices are fair and certainly the best I’ve seen in the Bay Area.
Sarah was friendly and professional on the phone and explained everything clearly. Trevor and Bryce called the morning they arrived to narrow down the time when they would arrive. They too were professional and friendly. I will use Nixxit again.
Bryce - the staff who came was so professional and pleasant to deal with!
