I DON’T often leave reviews!! But, I’ved used Nixxit for the past few years and the number one thing I love about Nixxit is that they don’t try to hit you with surprises at the end and when they’re finished, they leave the area so clean you won’t even remember you had junk to begin with. Sarah you are the best!
Quick furniture removal from apartment, thanks!
So good I used them twice! Amazing. Amazing people, amazing process. Efficient, kind, professional and funny - very important to me when dealing with cleaning out my mom’s hoarding situation.
I usually don't write reviews, however, working with NIXXIT was great. They were flexible, patient, and provided service at a fair price.
Wonderful service. Called and they immediately gave us a quote. They were able to fit us in SAME DAY! When the guys came to pick up the items the were super friendly and worked very fast! Pricing was very reasonable and no hidden fees was exactly the price quoted on the phone. Would highly recommend for any junk removal services.
First time having furniture picked up and Nixxit made it great experience! Intuitive, simple, fast, and friendly. I’m glad to have found a local pick up service that helps dispose of my furniture responsibly!
I booked and they came next day. They give you a 2 hour window but call to let you know when they will be arriving. Super friendly and quick! Also bonus that they were both Niners fans! Highly recommend.
This is a great company! They were totally responsive to my inquiries, and the scheduling process was smooth and easy. The crew did an amazing job with a very difficult assignment, They had to move a very heavy desk down a set of stairs with a difficult spiral turn, and it all went very well. They were…
Really good service! Bryce and Eric were big helps in my clean up / moving job. I called multiple vendors and they picked up my phone call and gave the most flexible pricing and explained everything over the phone and in person. I recommend them for anyone in the bay area.

This review is way overdue! I’ve hired Nixxit four or five times over the past year for a range of decluttering projects, and every experience has been fantastic. Nixxit just completed the fifth job I have hired them for in various locations. Most recently was the cleanout of a family home with 68 years of accumulated stuff. They arrived on time, four guys, 2 trucks working non stop and taking care of furniture to be donated and asking questions when needed. The former…
I have used Nixxit many times in the past - and they will always be my go-to company in the future. I love that they donate the household things that I no longer need but definitely don't belong in the landfill. I have repeatably found them responsive, friendly, efficient, and dependable.
Having someone come in to your home who is vetted was important for me. I alao wanted a company that would choose the best place for what I had to remove furniture. Is it going to be dumped or donated. I’m glad they have the connections to direct what I have tothe best place. Plus this is a local woman owned…
Same-day service, showed up on time and very professional and friendly. They even took some extra garbage overflowing the bins. I will definitely use them again if needed.
Great experience. They communicated time they would arrive, arrived on-time, and quickly removed the furniture and TV I was discarding. I’d recommend this service provider and I’d use them again.
Can’t recommend Nixxit enough! Service was so easy to set up over text. They accommodated a scheduling change on my end seamlessly, were incredibly polite, friendly, and efficient. It took under ten minutes once the team arrived. The easiest thing I’ve done all year. Hire Nixxit!!
Update 2 (9/2025): called again for another job. I admit I did a little shopping around - just to see what else is out there. Gut said to save myself the trouble but I kept at it and just wasn't satisfied. Went with my instinct and went with Nixxit again. Next day availability, constant communication and updates,…
A great service! I sent photos by text, received a quote within 10 minutes, and was scheduled for the next day. Perfect option for people downsizing with heavy items to get rid of. Movers were quick, clear and respectful. Clear communication up front and everything happened exactly as planned. Was the best experience! Thanks Nixxit!
What a great experience. The communication and service is truly second to none. I contacted Nixxit on a Thursday afternoon and had a FaceTime meeting with a representative shortly thereafter during which time I received an extremely reasonable quote. By 10am the next day, all of the items I wanted removed, were gone. I highly recommend these folks!
Really amazing service! This is my 2nd time using them. Everyone was so kind/empathetic, communicative, and professional. I even received some valuable tips. They got everything done quickly! Happy to recommend their service to anyone and everyone.
This is my second time using Nixxit. Always professional yet friendly, efficient and affordable. Great communication and customer service! I highly recommend this company.
The administrators were very helpful in getting my job done, they sent out a reminder, and the team showed up when they promised. They were professional, friendly, and efficient. I'll definitely use them again.
The Nixxit process was so clear and easy and every single person we worked with from start to finish was friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. We had an amazing experience and will use them again in a heartbeat and refer them to anyone and everyone we know!
I have lost track of how many times I have used this incredible company. From the office to the team in the field everyone is so professional, efficient and friendly. I have had a couple of unique situations and each time this company has pulled through for me!
It's hard to find a responsive and professional company to haul things away from residential homes but these guys are great. Professional throughout and communicated promptly. I'll definitely be calling them the next time I'm in need!!!
David and Dillon are true professionals. They are amazing workers and provide excellent customer service. Explained everything before starting the job; cost, time to complete and fees for disposal of items. We will contract with Nixxit again and recomend highly to friends and family. Thank you!
I have used Nixxit over a half dozen times since November 2021. They are an EXCELLENT company & team of professionals. I’ve used these folks twice now, and they’ve been quick and prompt both times. Can’t recommend them enough.
I needed a refrigerator removed immediately and the crew from Nixxit was fast, professional, courteous and tidy. I would be happy to use them again.
December 2022: I was drawn to Nixxit because of the values and practices outlined on the website like recycling, ecology and good labor practices. Being a small local woman-owned business is pretty great too. Then the process leading up to the cleanup was stellar ✨, explanations, reminders, a user friendly process,…
Very professional and detailed! Good value overall thx Nixxit
Immediate response to my request. Removal team called with ETA well in advance. Explained the process clearly and professionally and got straight to loading the furniture. They arrived on time and was done in 10 minutes. I expected an increase in my quote because I had added two extra items to the load but cost…
I give Nixxit 5 out of 5 stars. My communication with the company started online on a Sunday. I requested an estimate to clear out the attic, a number of large furniture items and books from my property. I immediately received a confirmation text and email regarding my requested estimate. I received a phone call…
They were very professional and moved heavy furniture from upstairs to their truck without a scratch anywhere. They also didn’t mind wearing booties while inside the house
I've used Nixxit Junk Removal twice because they are the best. I live on the 3rd floor, walk-up/no elevator and the two man crew carried everything down the stairs no problem! A large heavy dresser, a free-standing closet, a medium sized chair, plus 4 bags of stuff and several misc. objects (framed pictures, junk…
Called to see if they were in the area that same day to pick up two mattresses. Got the price and they were at my house picking them up 1.5 hours later. All the ways to pay were available and receipt sent directly to my email. Couldn’t have been more convenient.
Nixxit has been our go-to service for removing whatever we need. We've used them multiple times and every time, they've been professional, friendly, timely, efficient and cost effective. Sarah and every member of the team are wonderful to work with. And we really appreciate the fact that they are a local,…
Rental store clean out, garbage, cardboard boxes, wood, furniture etc.
So happy I hired this company. The crew had such a great attitude despite all the stairs, junk removal and upright piano! This is the company to hire if you need anything removed from your home.
Had to empty a storage unit and they were very responsive with the appointment as well as the pick up. Quick, friendly, professional overall.
Update 9-7-23: Many thanks to Nixxit for another excellent job of clearing out my garage full of furniture, larger items, and smaller items. Nixxit is professional, efficient, and their cost is reasonable. I also appreciate their efforts to donate reusable items to minimize the landfills. I highly recommend Nixxit.
Great crew. Handled all our extensive needs. Will use again!
Nixxit is the best! I used them for cleaning out my childhood home in San Francisco & now just moved out of our business office. Again, the guys were so professional & nice! I love that they fill trucks very nicely in order to use the space wisely & not overcharge us. I would recommend them to anyone. Thanks. Janet
Great job all the way around !!!
Nixxit was professional and super responsive! I highly recommend them!
Junk removal for commercial space. Amazing response time and transparency through the whole process. Very efficient the day of. I love that they recycle. We had some old display shelving that we weren't using and they went to someone else here in Castro Valley that could use them. Would definitely use again!
Awesome, awesome, awesome. Cannot say enough good about Nixxit and its *whole* team. So helpful, professional, friendly, punctual. Hired them 2x for hauling for stressful, unexpected move and they helped make it less stressful. Hauled junk, furniture, you name it. Have already recommended to friends. Would hire again in a heartbeat.
The movers were very professional and nice. They showed up on time and the service didn’t take a long time. This is a super convenient service and we will be using it again for other large box disposal!
Contactless haul away of treadmill, desk, electronics, and some household items. Super easy and reasonably priced. Love that it's a women-owned business as well.
I highly recommend Nixxit Junk Removal. The guys that came out were courteous, professional, kind and respectful. They were also very efficient and had all of my junk removed within an hour. I will definitely recommend them to others.
Prompt, efficient service. Very nice employees. If you've already used your free "bulk pickup" with the garbage company Nixxit can help you out.
Excellent, professional, and courteous assistance! I’m really happy with their work!
Nixxit did it again - did a fantastic job of cleaning out my old furniture and unneeded junk. On time, efficient, and so polite! Great business and great employee morale, going by the positive attitudes. They're fantastic on every score.
They showed up in an hour. Communicated everything perfectly. David and Martin were super personable. They even swept up before they left!
Will use Nixxit again. The haulers we're extremely professional & polite. They picked up everything we had scheduled along with the couple extra items. Working with them and getting everything hauled out was a smooth task. Scheduling our pickup and communication from the main branch was very easy to do and the reps.…
Both were very nice guys. They even hooked up my TV again after having to take all the cable cords off to remove the TV stand!
Fast, efficient, professional, and nice people. They were also quite on time with a smaller window than most of these services. It wasn’t the cheapest but honestly it saves a huge amount on hassle. Would definitely use again for any removal.
The driver arrived on time and loaded the furniture in about 45 minutes. He was very polite and explained the charges and what my change the charges upon arrival and a quick look. The actual charges were slightly less than the estimate. I will be recommending Nixxit to friends.
Used I have used Nixxit twice, and I love their service. More than just hauling things away, they work to rehome reuse, and donate as many items as they can. We have been cleaning out our home as empty-nesters, and we feel confident that we are not just sending everything to a landfill. The staff is courteous,…
I am constantly using Nixxit for my clients! It's a local, woman owned business and everyone I've ever worked with there is outstanding. Something that is really important to me in my business is to keep as much out of landfill as possible. Nixxit helps me do that. I love them and my clients love them too!
Great team showed up to haul our junk. Excellent communication and very timely. Professional, courteous, and friendly. Gave job estimate upon arrival and less than 15 minutes later, they were done and ready to go to their next customer. I not only will use Nexxit again, but I highly recommend to anyone who needs hauling work done.
I called this business and they came and picked up my junk the next day! They were on time and very friendly.
Trevor called 2 hours before the scheduled time because they had an opening and asked if I was ok with an earlier pickup. Awesome! 2 friendly and very polite fellows soon showed up and they were fast and very efficient. We were impressed to see an extra truck come by as they weren’t sure everything would fit into…
Outstanding customer service, immediate response to all inquiries, on time, estimate within my budget, professional and I would recommend them to anyone.

Perfect experience. Came same day. Very pleasant, quick and on time. Communication re arrival time accurate.
I would highly recommend this service. They treated my home respectfully when removing furniture and other items. Pleasant and professional service. Reasonably priced and quality work.
The Nixxit Team was great! They were priced a lot more reasonably than other junk haulers we have used in the past. They were on time and called/texted before they arrived with a more accurate arrival time. My neighbor who is a realtor actually recognized the guys that came and she uses them a lot. They were…
This company was very professional and timely on their arrival. Although their costs was a bit higher than originally quoted, they were fast, efficient, and got the job done! Overall, I was happy with their services and would use them again. Except next time I will try and get a written quote, instead of a verbal one.
Great people. Fast friendly and professional.
Nixxit was very responsive, less than 24 hours after my phone call the truck was here to pick up my stuff. The guys were very nice and it was super easy to pay with just a tap of my credit card. The whole process was quick and seamless. I will use them again!

The crew was super professional, on time, communicative, efficient, and helpful. They removed big items that had been plagueing my home for ages and were gone in under 15 minutes! Love that it's woman-owned, and that the stuff will be donated. ♡♡♡
Just professional and kind folks. I will call them again!
I highly recommend Nixxit! I have used their services twice - once for a work project and an additional time to clean out garage and yard clutter at my grandmother's home. They are responsive when calling to schedule an appointment, communicate their arrival time window, and ARRIVE ON TIME, staff are very…
Highly recommend Nixxit for small moves! Mario, Marlon and Eric were punctual, professional and very efficient. Because of the heavy rain, they added a 3rd man for 1/2 price, which I accepted. The crew was also flexible and helped me do some last minute packing of books; I was moving a large campus office to an…

Nixxit was very responsive. All my questions were quickly answered and I booked my service for the same week. I love that they make an extra effort to donate what is useable by others. I called on Saturday and they came out the same day. The guys were quick, friendly, professional.
On time, helpful, honest. Appreciate that its woman owned, local, small and green certified while still being fairly priced. Love it as an alternative to the big names that are not as green. Would definitely hire again!

Great experience with Nixxit! Friendly and communicative! Very good prices!
Nixxit was fantastic and customer service oriented! I have used other junk removal services in the past, but I am so happy that I found Nixxit. Excellent staff and service, highly recommend them!
Nixxit was too easy. Same day pickup and right on time. Quick and upfront pricing.
OUR small non-profit had to move our program location and had to drastically reduce capacity. We were on a very tight timeline to have everything removed in time and Nixxit came through BIG TIME!
They provided quick and easy support to remove our items. We were able to schedule a same-day service request. Great service, even greater response time.
I felt really good about using this locally owned and environmental friendly junk hauling company. They separate everything and donate the usable items to nonprofits. Great help, same day in the rain. Polite, attentive, and reasonable my priced. Would totally use again!!!

The gentlemen who came for the pickup were friendly and efficient. I highly recommend this business if you need to declutter,…
Very professional and neat. Did a very careful job.
It is hard to coordinate removal when you are de-cluttering. I’m on a Swedish Death Cleaning de-cluttering binge, and every day of de-cluttering reveals more that needs to go or be dealt with. As each ‘layer’ is dug out, Nixxit has helped move the mess out. I can have a lot or a little, and it all goes away.…
Movers kept me informed about when they’d arrive. They were on time and removed my couch quickly. Payment was reasonable and easy. I’d use them again.
Couldn’t be happier! Trevor and Dylan showed up on time and did an amazing job. It was pouring rain and cold but they loaded up a huge truck in under an hour. I was amazed at the hard work and professionalism they displayed. I would recommend Nixxit to anyone looking to get junk hauled off their property. 10/10 would use them again.
Everyone is friendly, responsive, and they go above and beyond to explain pricing. Highly recommend them!
On time movers, fair price, and best of all they took an old spinet piano that I could not even give away and promised to recycle as much of the wood and metal as possible. I will absolutely hire this certified green and woman owned business again for any other hauling job I have.
The two man team called 1/2 hour before they came. Arrived on time. Very professional. He asked to see what was to be taken, gave me a quote and proceeded to load everything. They were quick, efficient and even removed the piano. I would use them again and highly recommend them!!
They picked up my stuff an hour after I called, which is exactly what I was looking for. Easy all the way through.
On time. Friendly and profesional. Got right to it. Good local business!
These guys are the best! So kind and professional, and we have been able to get them same day. We’ve used them multiple times and will again!
Thank you Nixxit for making the removal of our sofa bed painless! We had to get rid of it fast and were given a next day appointment. The two gentlemen who came to our house were professional and easy to work with. They had to take apart the whole couch to get it out and I'm so glad we had Nixxit do it instead of wrangling it ourselves.
Had a good experience with them. Online booking was super easy and they communicated with me (mainly through text) so I always knew what to expect. I initially found them because they were one of the top results but I chose them because I liked how they’d try to donate the items that they could. I donated as many…

I had a positive experience from beginning to end. I had a mix of furniture to donate and scrap materials left over from a recent remodel and they took it all away. The team was pleasant and professional. The process was straightforward and stress free. I would definitely use this service again.
Excellent service . In Terms of calling/ arranging pickup/ team following up / team picking up the furniture.. no hiccups.. Best part everything done in less than 15-20 mts
Quick and easy! Everyone was nice and eager to help
I couldn’t be happier with my entire experience working with the Nixxit team! From my first phone call to final bit of the project, they were all personable and professional, a true pleasure to work with. I highly recommend Nixxit and would absolutely call on them again.
Nice people. They arrived on time, were fair and pleasant to deal with, and I liked the fact that they look to reuse or recycle most of what they pick up. Great experience.
Super nice and courteous. Great communication and thorough. Couldn’t have been more professional! Thanks so much
These guys are awesome! Very communicative and friendly workers. We’ve used their service twice now and both times they did an awesome job. I was really happy with how efficient they were and how quick and easy it is to make appointments with them. We’ll definitely be using these guys for any future junk removal services. Nixxit was prompt, fast, accurate, friendly and patient with my questions. Great communicators about scheduling and scope of work. I may need them back in the future and won’t hesitate to give them a call.
Booked online, they called me immediately to confirm details, finished the job within an hour. Very polite, transparent, efficient!
Professional business, fair pricing and on time! Will use them again!!
The guy's we worked with were great! They were prompt and very responsive. We called and had someone meet us in less than an hour. We got an accurate estimate and they made sure they knew which boxes were being removed as it was a storage unit clean out. Would highly recommend!
Great service! I called around noon and the truck arrived around 2:30. Trevor and Dillion were friendly, efficient, professional and really nice guys. Sarah, who I spoke with on the phone to book my appointment, was great. So glad I found them.
Terrific company as I have used them twice and extremely satisfied with the service provided. Dave and his crew, who took care of our pick up was courteous, friendly, on-time, and provided excellent service over all and finished the job in quick fashion. Highly recommended and I would use them again in a heart beat!! 5 Stars plus
I used Nixxit for a recent office move. We had lots of old office furniture and e-waste to get rid of. Sarah and her team were fantastic! They worked quickly to get the to work done. It made our office move so much easier. I would highly recommend this company to anyone needing a removal service.
This is a long overdue review. When we were in the throes of moving, we just had a bunch of stuff we didn't need anymore and Nixxit was able to deal with it for us. I liked knowing the usable items would be donated and the waste would be properly disposed of. Everything was easy and the job came in under the estimated price.
Easy to schedule a pickup window on short notice, the movers were quick and professional.
The service was professional. Both young men knew how to work efficiently. Arrived on time and completed the work within an hour. They were patient and worked with me. I recommend this service.

So friendly, efficient, and totally let me relax while they took care of everything. So worth it
I have utilized this service twice in the past month in order to prepare for the sell of our home and relocation. Their online booking system is user-friendly and very easy to use. These guys are super nice and personable, moved our couch out of our place within minutes. Thank you so much for your help!
NIXXIT was fantastic from our first contact through final pickup. This was an organization that made you feel like it was their privilege to pick up your items and they were compelled to make sure that they would do what ever it took to do right by you possessions. The handlers that showed up at our storage facility…
We had to empty my 95 year old father-in-law’s house. We needed to get it ready for selling. We live out of town and didn’t have a lot of time to do it. Enter Nixxit. We packed everything and Nixxit took all the boxes, old appliances, furniture, trash, etc. All in less time than estimated. They are not cheap but…
From first contact to driving away with my stuff, everyone was professional, kind, and helpful. We will definitely use them again.
Couldn’t be an easier process from pick-up to payment. Great customer service and friendly staff. Will definitely use the Nixxit team in the future. Mike
Nixxit helped me clean out my Mom and Dads house after their passing. Bryce ans Tyler worked with me on 5 loads. Nixxit was great! They managed a same day pickup on the day I called. Nixxit staff were professional, friendly and skilled in lifting a heavy couch and getting it through a narrow doorway without a scratch.
I especially liked how they kept in constant contact via texting with a live person.

So grateful for Nixxit! Professional, efficient, and prompt. Called on a Friday afternoon and stuff was picked up next day on a very busy weekend. Definitely recommend! Thank you, Nixxit!
Amazing service! Love this company. Everyone was a pleasure to work with, and their mission is so important - nothing goes to the landfill. I support this business and look forward to using them again!
They were so dependable, kind, and professional. It made replacing my couch so much easier. I had to change my appointment once and they were easy to reach and very flexible. The guys from Nixxit even advised the guys delivering the new couch when they arrived at the same time and couldn’t figure out how to fit it through the front door! Highly recommend.
I've used Nixxit multiple times and have been happy every single time!
I had a bunch of old furniture and accumulated possessions in storage. The rent on my storage unit kept increasing to the point where the stuff in the unit clearly wasn’t worth the price I was paying to store it. So I called Nixxit and they were terrific. The whole process from booking to hauling away my junk was…
Fantastic experience. On time, polite, helpful. They explained everything clearly and their estimate was fair and transparent. I will absolutely use them again.

Signed up through online calendar process. Great communication after. Very easy process. The team that came was very professional explaining how it works, asking if I wanted them to wear masks, moving a heavy loveseat sofa down a narrow staircase with extreme care and expertise.
Super friendly, easy process, on time, good estimate, overall just great service. We had what felt like a big job and they blew through it like nothing. I love them and definitely will use Nixxit again.
Nixxit has always came through with excellent service and never let me down. I'm a Realtor so I tend to have houses that needs debris/trash removed before we list them for sale. They even have came to my personal residence to pick up debris that random people dump on the road. They're local, hard workers and all are great people to work with.
Great experience with this team. Very professional and organized. Reviewed the pickup and priced project out before starting.
Very professional. Reviewed what we wanted removed, reviewed cost before starting to ensure there were no surprises. Easy to work with and the guys are really nice. I enjoyed the experience. Highly recommended!!!!
Professional service, honest & transparent pricing. I needed a storage unit cleaned out in Oakland while I was living in FL and a few places tried to rip me off before I called Nixxit. They setup a time & date at their earliest convenience and were helpful each step of the way. Thanks!
It is simple. You call, schedule an appointment, show them what needs to go and pay the bill. Their rates were less than if I had to do it myself. No mess, responsible, and hard workers.
We are cleaning out a house as administrators of an estate and pretty much everything must go. So far we've had Nixxit out for 3 full truck loads and each time has been a breeze. Brian and Trevor were pretty punctual, courteous, friendly, and efficient. I like the fact I’m supporting a woman-owned, small local business that’s eco friendly and seeks to recycle and reuse the items they haul away. I’ll definitely use them again in the future.
They were friendly, fast, punctual, and provided transparent pricing. They are a little pricier than arranging through the city, but much more helpful and efficient (worth the cost). I will definitely use them again.
Great customer service from start to finish!
Fast and friendly service. We had 4 pieces of furniture on the curb and they were finished loading it up in less than 10 minutes. They also have a swiper so they can take card payments which is very convenient.
Trevor & his partner were awesome. They took my old couch and moved my other one from the garage to the living room perfectly. They also took a box spring for a sweet deal. Appreciated the fact they take Apple Pay. Thanks, fellas.
