Matt, and his company took the time to help move my son's lego ship (18 feet) to Texas Children's Hospital for display. I am greatful and so appreciative that he gives to the community. THEY MOVED A LEGO SHIP IN ONE PIECE (impressive)! Please support this company!!
Had a great experience moving with them! Brandon and Kenan did an amazing job. It's been a few days since I moved and it looks like everything was moved quickly and in perfect condition. Plus they were personable and gassed up my mom who was helping me move. Definitely recommend!
Definitely recommend! Our move with Not A Hobby was amazing and smooth! Matt the owner is really cool and straight to the point and up front. Brian and Jordan did a fantastic job the day of the move. They were fast, hard workers (even with the elevator breaking and having to use the stairs), and are really cool and…

My movers did an amazing job (Brian was one of them) !! They packed everything very carefully and worked quickly. It was one of the hottest days of the year and they worked so hard! Thankful for them helping me with my move
WOW! This was the best moving experience I've ever had, truly. Booking was so easy, Matt called me within an hour of my email inquiry and got me booked on the phone - no back and forth. Thane and his crew were absolutely incredible! So thorough, extremely careful with our furniture, and fast. Not one thing was…

Fast and efficient. The guys kept it professional and brought a good vibe during the move. Furniture and house wise they packed and protected everything better than expected.
Great experience. Easy to book, affordable, professional. Josh and Jordan went above and beyond to help me and my family move. They were patient and thorough and efficient. Highly recommended!
Josh, Thane, and Brandon where so efficient and easy to work with. They never stopped moving until the job was done. The best movers ever! Good job!

I've used Matt and his team for multiple moves in Austin. They do an excellent job and I have never had any issues. Highly recommend Not a hobby moving.
Not a Hobby Moving Company did an outstanding job with my move in Round Rock! I called them on a Monday; they were there on a Wednesday and covered the furniture to prevent damage. The team was professional and efficient and took great care of my belongings. They completed the job within an hour, saving us from possible injuries and stress.
We decided to give Not a Hobby a shot after my wife heard about them. Our experience was fantastic. The guys that moved our house were absolute professionals and did an awesome job. They worked quickly and got things done without creating damage in their wake. We will be using them in the future and recommending them widely.
The 2 man crew arrived late, to our 2 story home on Alvin High Ln a yr ago, tired at 3pm after finishing a hard move earlier the same day. They didn’t properly wrap framed pictures which broke. The glass had to be replaced. They scratched the top surface of a dresser, which after their handyman tried to repair,…
A very smooth move— Keenan and Devon were excellent!
Great mover I hired for two local moves. They arrive on time, communicate well, work fast, and do a great job protecting your items for a reasonable cost. Highly recommended!
Outstanding service. Fast and reasonable prices. Professional. Best moving company I’ve used in the USA.
Not a Hobby Moving absolutely exceeded my expectations from start to finish! Moving is very stressful itself, but their team, Jordan, Keenan and Brian made the entire experience smooth and efficient. On top of the move, it was pouring rain. The guys made a point to protect our belongings as best they could. They…
Let's face it, moving sucks! This move was smooth, efficient and as painless as possible. Great crew who handled my move professionally, personably and efficiently. Would highly recommend!
This was our second time using Not a Hobby moving and they were great to work with both times! Matt and the two guys who helped with our most recent move were friendly and efficient. We really enjoyed working with them and they made the move as fun and smooth as possible. We will absolutely be using them again in the future!
Brian and Jordan were fantastic! They took great care of the furniture and even though it was raining they got it done on time. They were very friendly as well!!! 10/10
Really a super experience. From the initial chat with Matt to spec out the job, to his follow-up and the great team that came. It wasn't a long move, but I have a lotta stuff and there were stairs. It was super smooth and without incident. I also appreciated an inventory system where I could really get concrete…
Great service! Careful with my belongings, very friendly and professional staff, really felt like they took care of me - would use again and can highly recommend!!
I had a major move with complicated access. Every company I reached out to insisted on doing a virtual call and bid. Matt actually took my call and understood my concern. He met me onsite advised me on where to drop pods, and gave me a very a good bid. Matt and team are moving machines! What I thought would take two…
Josh, Dave and their partner were very Professional and did an outstanding job with the move they were very skilled and I would highly recommend them to anyone and I am recommending them to family and friends. Great work!!
This is an email I wrote to the company after being prompted to provide feedback, and they never responded. Hi Matt & company, As I've finally had some time to unpack this past weekend, I noticed that some of my furniture was damaged by the movers. I made it clear that I needed them to wrap and protect all my…
I’ve moved a lot in my life. This was the best moving company I’ve hired hands down! It was a team of 3 guys, they were all very respectful, quick, and friendly. And FAST! Extremely reasonable price and they don’t have hidden fees like all of the other companies I’ve checked out and used in the past. Hopefully i…
Brian and Jordan were fantastic! They were super friendly and beyond helpful. Even with two rickety flights of stairs and several large pieces of furniture, they handled my move quickly and efficiently. They even helped reassemble some furniture items after getting everything moved in to my new place. I can’t recommend them enough!
These are the best movers I’ve ever had, and I’ve moved around a load! Hands down, you’ve found your movers. I’m reached out to Not a Hobby to help move my Dad, who has a lifetime of stuff, multiple safes, garages, you name it. We had five guys, two trucks, a 10+ hour day. Each person was so considerate and kind -…
Last minute reservation, good guys, great service. They move fast. And everything during my move went great. Thank y’all!
Thank you to Not A Hobby, my move went smoothly! Customer service and professionalism was spot on by both Matt and Josh!
Had an excellent experience with this company. The guys who helped me were professional, punctual, and timely. They were very commutative of expectations and services provided. They provided padded blankets to transport my tv and wrapped my couch to prevent scuffing while moving it. They placed all the heavier items…
I initially planned to pack my belongings myself and have Not a Hobby Moving handle only the transportation of my furniture and pre-packed boxes. However, due to an unexpected work obligation, I was unable to complete the packing as planned. Not a Hobby Moving was able to adjust their schedule to pack the boxes themselves and keep the move on schedule.
Returning customer with Not A Hobby Moving Co. Matt (Owner) and his crew went above and beyond once again. I used them about 5 years ago and again this past month. Both of my experiences with them were painless. Communication, promptness, quality, and price exceeded my expectations and made my stressful move a…
Crew was on time and respectful. Made sure to take their time to prevent any damages. Would definitely recommend!
I booked these movers the day prior to my move and they arrived ready to work. They were great guys; respectful, hard working, and made multiple stops for me (storage unit and new place). Great price as well. I would definitely use again and recommend.
From first contact, Matt was quick to schedule and estimate quote. Movers showed up, were on task, completed the move in the hours allotted. The crew was great, friendly and focused. I’d absolutely recommend “Not a hobby Moving”, it was truly a “peace of mind” experience, they were thorough and delivered as promised.
From start to finish my move was very smooth. The guys were very professional and careful With all my belongings.
Extremely professional and friendly crew, fast and responsive. The owner is very friendly and works with you on the best timing. Thank you guys 😊
I hired "Not A Hobby Moving" based on their Google Rating. After a 12-Hour Day, our Movers (KT, Keenan, Jordan and Anthony) were still plugging away to the very end. They were polite and efficient, very careful with our things and when we arrived at our new home, they kindly put everything where we needed it to go.…
Hired these guys to help with a move and they went above and beyond. They were kind and respectful. Worked quickly. When we got to the new house and the refrigerator didn’t fit through the door, Matt came back and worked diligently to get it safely inside. Highly recommend this crew if you’ve got an upcoming move.
Bryan and Cody were awesome. Super helpful, nice, and got the job done in only 5 hours.
The guys did a great job. The were quick and careful. We are very pleased overall!
I had a great experience with Not a Hobby moving company, I highly recommend these guys! From the beginning, Matt was very pleasant to talk to and had great communication. I was also very impressed with Chase and Keenan during my move experience. We had a bit of a road block when my couch couldn’t fit through the…
Another great experience with not a hobby. They’re always so efficient and kind. This was my third time and will definitely use them again!
This is the second time I have used Not A Hobby and they have been amazing both times. Stress free experience from start to finish - Cody & Anthony are fantastic and deserve a raise!! Matt was super helpful getting everything set up. Still highly recommend!!!
This is the second time I used Not A Hobby and the second time I was amazed at the quality and professionalism of the moving teams. Booking couldn’t have been easier and so reasonable. Not a single item was lost, broken or scratched. Everything was treated with such care and put anywhere I wanted. The team I had…
The guys were in and out super quick! My one bedroom move was done in under 2 hours, including 20 mins of travel time. Would definitely use these movers again!
I highly recommend these guys. They were very professional and worked hard and fast. There was an issue with one of my items damaged in the move and they immediately refunded a fair amount to make sure I can replace it. I am very happy with their service, and will definitely use them again in the future when we can finally buy a house.
I heard about Not a Hobby Moving through a friend and was immediately impressed! They came to my house to look things over and gave a quote the same day (cheapest rate by the way). When moving day came, they showed up with 4 guys and got everything moved in the quoted time. Could not have asked for a smoother move!! Thank you for all your help!
As everyone knows moving can be a difficult and stressful time in one's life. I decided to use this company based on a friend's suggestion and I was blown away. The move was much quicker than I anticipated and the crew that helped was extremely professional and helpful. I'd like to give a shout out to Nate…
Hands down recommend these guys for any move. This is the second time we’ve used them, since we liked them so much the first time! We had some older family items that are very fragile and they took great care of them with not one single issue! These guys will go above and beyond. Extremely professional and polite.…
These guys were awesome! Not only extremely professional, timely, and hard-working, but also very friendly, flexible, and good natured. They got done way quicker than the estimate and offered to help with other things that fell outside of their scope as movers. I almost didn’t want them to leave. 10/10 highly recommend.
These guys were phenomenal! I had never used movers before and they were fast, efficient, and accurate. They also helped place things where they needed to be to help me unpack! I’m definitely going to call them again for any future move!
I seriously would not use any other moving company. These guys are the best. I’ve used them for business and residential moves. They are honest, hard working, and communicative. They are locally owned by good people and will treat you and your belongings with care.
Wonderful experience! These guys are professional, super helpful, very friendly, and they care about making sure your stuff is handled properly and moved carefully. Excellent customer service and they don’t leave until the job is done. They go out of their way to make sure everything is set up the way you want it!
Fantastic experience. They were on time and completed the move under budget. Would definitely recommend Not a Hobby!
Was able to book them a week in advance. Movers were professional and polite. Took about 4 hours to move from my 800 sq ft apt on the third floor to a two story home several miles away and cost under 500 bucks. Would recommend.
These guys were awesome! I was dreading the fact that I had to move on Easter weekend. It was a third floor to third floor move, the worst kind there is. I could barely get volunteers to help because everyone had family in town. I had previously thought about movers, but it was looking like it would cost more than I…
Awesome service. Very professional, took great care of my things. Super helpful and efficient!! 10/10 would recommend.
I had to move urgently and I saw Not A Hobby Moving on Facebook. I got the phone number from their page, called and spoke with John that day. After discussing the detail, he had me scheduled and good to go for my move 3 days later. When the guys arrived, they wrapped and had all my furniture padded. I was nervous bc…
I had a move into a storage unit and needed help with all of my furniture. John was super helpful over the phone making sure that they were prepared for everything that I had. And the team overall was very quick and professional. My movers showed up on time and ready to work. They both had a very good attitude and…
All I had to do was leave a key under the Mat and the guys handled the rest, the owner even called to inform me that they were able to get me moved out quicker than originally thought. They showed up and got it done and went the extra mile to wrap all my expensive items. I will be using them every time I move.
Today was the third time that Not a Hobby Moving has helped us in the last three months! First, they moved us from our “forever” home, second, they moved a business for us, and third, (today), they moved our daughter from her apartment. Each move has been for different reasons, but the service, the professionalism,…
Not a Hobby Moving company is great! This is the second time we have used them and wouldn't use any other moving company. We were moving from a 2 story house to a 3 story apartment. We didn't have a lot of big stuff to move but we had a lot of boxes in various shapes and sizes. The guys were great. Very…
We needed a couch moved across town and Not a Hobby got it done the day after I called. They wrapped the couch pieces in blankets to protect it and offered to put it together in our home. They were fast and friendly! Highly recommend!
Best moving experience I have ever had. Their team was early, worked extremely fast and was super careful with all boxes and furniture. I will be using them for all future moves, I was super impressed. Great team and an awesome value.
From the first phone call to the last day of the move I was very impressed. Matt, John, and Brad did a phenomenal job communicating and taking care of our prized possessions. They were on time , professional, and handled the move quickly. Highly recommend and will definitely use again for any further moving needs.
