They have friendly staff and I got really cool therapist Kejal Patel I am so thankful for her
Continually sending me requests for payment the day before the therapy session, then failing to credit my account for the payment made. I’m currently working with Sadiqa and I really like her! I like that you have the ability to choose someone who you relate well to and feel comfortable talking with and she is just that! She constantly encourages me and makes me feel comfortable enough to talk about my feelings which I usually have a tough time doing. She’s also very supportive!
I am so grateful for Sadiqa Ahmad’s kindness, understanding, and support. She create a safe welcoming where I feel truly heard and valued. Her guidance has made me a meaningful difference in my life. Highly recommended!

I've been looking for a good local therapist, and I found out Open Mind is in-network with my insurance. I called their office, and someone answered the phone sounding like they were in a call center. Apparently the way this office works is you have a paid intake with a nurse practitioner who then recommends a therapist to you. My insurance requires a referral, so I'd have to come out of pocket before someone could even bother making a recommendation to someone who may be a good fit. This seems like a poorly thought through barrier to exploring their services. I've never encountered an office set up like this, and I hope I never do again.

Continually sending me requests for payment the day before the therapy session, then failing to credit my account for the payment made. When they cancel the day of the appointment, they don't record that I have a credit. It's one location, but two billing services, which they don't disclose. They've been apologizing about the "transition" of their payment processing service for four months. Starting an inquiry to see if they are engaged in insurance fraud. It feels like a scam.

Sadiqa Ahmad has been working with my sister, Firdoshbanu, through weekly therapy sessions, and I can truly see the difference it’s making. She’s kind, patient, and really takes the time to understand and help. My sister feels comfortable opening up to her, and the support has been ongoing and consistent. I’m very grateful for the positive changes we’ve seen, and I would definitely recommend Sadiqa to anyone looking for a caring and dedicated therapist.
Sarah Amo-Mensah was extremely unprofessional. In our intake she asked me to talk about my past trauma, and then proceeded to text on her phone while I was talking, and asked me to repeat myself once I was done. She was on her phone almost the entire appointment, she said it was due to another patient coming in late to her appointment. She was not charting on her phone, I could see her charting on her computer as she had her back facing me the whole time, and I saw the text chat on her phone. Additionally she pushed me to take a medication I had tried before and wasn't comfortable re-trying. Just all around an extremely unprofessional experience.
Sadiqa is a very kind and compassionate counselor. She truly wants the best for her patients and really takes the time to understand their needs and situation. I have benefited greatly from our weekly sessions and can’t say enough good things about her!
Really love therapy, I've been feeling and slowly getting better with all the sessions that I'm going to. I'm slowly learning but I'm getting there as a better form of myself
