Tim and the crew inspected my kids car, took care of the repairs and made sure everything was good and ready asap. Definitely would refer them and have my cars worked on there again.
Super nice guys and they got the job done quick and professional!
Amazing service and they an amazing job on my car! I’ll always go to Oswald’s from now on!
Absolutely phenomenal service. I was extremely impressed by the willingness to work with me, even when I was out of town. The ability to see each thing that needed work and giving a scale of importance and impact to allow for some work to be done over time where possible.
Oswald’s was very thorough and they were able to help me get repairs done just before a road trip! I loved how they detail their inspection results and transparently prioritize how important each item is. The price felt slightly higher than some other places, but absolutely worth it for the quality of the repair and…
Best mechanic place I've found! Oswalds went above and beyond with an issue that ended up being way more than just an inspection and now the car feels good as new now! Probably literal lifesavers, so glad I went there and didn't stop at the first assessment I had received.
Professional, courteous, and on time.
I have used this company for years, started with the original Oswald company in Idaho Falls, then Rexburg branch. I have always been treated professionally, courteously and consistently in my dealings with them. I can trust their work and can trust what they advise for the upkeep of my vehicle.
They were very clear and helped me get my car running again quickly!
Was quoted $793 for a spark plug replacement on my Subaru. Found the parts for $60 and did it myself in less than an hour with YouTube. I’d recommend getting a second quote before committing to major maintenance here. They seemed to do a fair job on other repairs but feels kinda hard to come back after that.
Awesome service! Went in to get a diag done on a project car im working on and they gave me all the details. They explained exactly what needs to get done and what needs to get replaced. We'll worth it!
The two times I’ve had my vehicle serviced at Oswalds, the communication before, during, and after the service was done very professionally. The full vehicle inspection that is done each time I had work done at Oswalds is worth doing business with Oswalds above all other shops in town. I would recommend taking all…
Oswald's customer service is amazing! Luke was very kind and took the time to explain everything they did to help me maintain my vehicle. I am so happy to have found trustworthy mechanics!
I’ve taken my pickup into Oswald’s multiple times, I had a fuel pump and a CV Axle replaced and was having trouble again with those items and they stood behind a warranty for those parts! Very pleased that they stand behind the work that they do
Courteous, reliable, dependable and above all honest.wonderful people and family oriented. I will definitely take my car back to them whenever I need service. A-1 service.
Great service. Took care of my truck really well. Good communication skills with keeping us with what’s going on.
I’ve been going to oswald service for years for all my car maintenance needs! I’ve always appreciated their professionalism throughout the whole service process. When my car has had issues, I feel like things are always explained clearly and I’ve never felt like I was being sold something I didn’t need. I’ll never go elsewhere!
I share this review with the understanding that things happen... that said, this thing did happen and as a result I feel less confident bringing my vehicles here for repair. I brought my vehicle in for brake replacement and "possible" rotor replacement if mine couldn't be re-resurfaced. The price they quoted seemed…
Oswald’s always the best five star service rating any day of the week. The most thorough automotive shop. Outstanding service. Thank you Nick and staff for such professionalism and quick turnaround.
The only place I go for any work on my vehicles. They are the best!!!!
Friendly employees, but I'm really unhappy with what I was charged to remove a broken bolt from my license plate. I feel I was taken advantage of.
Simply put: Oswald has amazing service. I've taken my car in 2 times now and every time every aspect of the experience is top notch. From the way they've set the drop off system, to the way they show you what repairs need to be done. Thank you Nick for taking care of my Mazda!
Very friendly and efficient Pleasant and works to keep the cost and maintenance to minimum
Very clean and fast service.
Very understanding and accommodating shop. I will 100% be taking my 99’ 4Runner back to Oswald for future repairs!
Nick and the crew at Oswald's took care of what I needed and pointed out items I should watch out for in the future that were near the end of service life (brake pads getting thin etc.) Very clean and upscale shop! Thanks Oswald's!!
So friendly, kind, helpful, performed excellent service, was thorough, and even came and picked me up when my car was done! (I was just down the street)
I am usually very happy with the service, but this time I am not. I came with a small leak in the rack and pinion The part was going to take along time to arrive so I opted to not do the service. They returned my vehicle and I had a big leak. I was able to get it to a different shop who had the part and get it…
Oswald did absolutely amazing. They were kind and super understanding and really easy to work with. They're honest and kind and will work with you to make sure you're completely satisfied with their work. As a young woman, I did not feel taken advantage of or talked down to like I do at almost every other mechanic…
Great company, very friendly and fast service! Would recommend services to everyone needing vehicle maintenance!
Your lobby is inviting and the toy area is nice. Jesse was very friendly and offered me a hot drink which was very welcomed in this cold weather.
Always good service and reasonable price!
Fantastic services, crew members went above and beyond to make sure the car was functioning and that I was satisfied with the vehicle. Pleasant staff. Great price.
Incredible service. They diagnosed the correct issue and repaired it quickly. It was definitely different than what I believed the issue was. It was refreshing working with professionals such as Kevin, Nick and their team who care about getting the job done right.

The place in Rexburg has always gone above and beyond my expectations. I would advise anyone to take their vehicle to get repaired here...
I am so happy with the service on my Lexus. They did a complete check and then went over everything that needed to be done eventually and what needed to be done now. I did not feel pressured at all to do it all right now. I believe this company and its employees to be very honest. I will go back for the next set of…
I would recommend these guys good service.
Check engine light has been on for a couple of years. Local deal couldn’t diagnose the problem. Oswald’s diagnosis was spot on and a sensor was replaced and the light is off. Diagnosed several other issues and made repairs. Their reception area and waiting area is cleaner than many doctors offices. Jake and his…
It's the best service in the whole area and I just trust in your company.

The service I received was incredible, from scheduling the appointment to picking my vehicle up. I am a big fan of communication, they let me know what was going on with my vehicle the whole time. I really liked the detailed inspection report that included pictures of the issues they found with the cost to repair…
Had a squeaking noise come from my car and they were able to find the culprit and help fix the solution. Great customer service. I also had a problem with several wires a blown out blower motor and they looked into that. Took them a couple of days to find the issue but we’re very helpful in trying to sort out the…

These guys have saved my bacon numerous times. Always quick, knowledgeable and reliable. Great to have a local shop that we can trust for our vehicle needs!
Initial Post: We are originally from Colorado where we had an amazing mechanic, he knew us, our vehicles and our long-term plans. He didn’t just work on our cars, he treated them like they were his own. One concern we had coming to Rexburg was finding someone to take care of our needs, and with a large family we…
Great service, they did not cut corners to find what was actually the root cause to the issue I was experiencing
The guys at Oswald Service & Repair are great! They were knowledgeable, friendly, and they went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of in a timely manner.

Went in to fix the undercarriage skirt that was dragging on the ground and they completed it within 20 minutes and didn’t charge me when I went to pick up! They were so kind and I will definitely be coming to them again for any other services I need!
My experience was awesome. I was taken care of in a timely manner. The service at the desk was excellent. My car is running great. I loved that I was told about my brakes could be getting worn and to keep watch. I will be going to Oswald for my oil changes so Jesse can keep an eye on my brakes. Love the place. 5 stars from me! Deb.
I had an absolutely amazing experience with Oswald service and repair. They were able to fix my van in the same day I brought it in. Working with the service personnel was wonderful.
They take the time to find the problem and they fix it right. I appreciate their honesty and not talking me into repairs that don’t need to be done but pointing out potential issues that may arise. I would recommend Jesse and his team all day long!
Great service! Showed me a lot of respect and got my car up and running again very quickly! Definitely recommend if you’re looking for a new repair place!

These guys are the best to work with! Kind professional and knowledgeable. Highly recommend them!
They did a great job, and were very helpful.
I came to their business because I had an oil leak. I was very worried that it was going to be costly. They found that the oil leak was created by a washer attached to the oil plug. They replaced the washer. They were very fast I was out of there in just 20 minutes. They were fast, accurate, very pleasant to work…
Had a leaky coolant, about 500 to fix. Seemed a bit steep, but quick service.

They always make me feel like family and are fast with what they do
They are honest people, and very good in what they do.. They don't make up stuff to work on, I trust them with vehicles
We live out of state. Our son who attends college in Rexburg had his truck break down on the way to school. We called around to get a referral for a good mechanical shop. Oswald’s were highly recommended. We left it there on a Saturday when they were closed. They had a great “drop-off” set up. All of my…

I love this place. I was coming down from Bozeman and my battery light came on. Turned out I needed a new alternator. They were very quick to identify the problem and offer me some solutions. Very honest and straightforward team. I never felt pressured to buy anything I didn’t need. They are all very friendly and the service was prompt. Thanks!!

Knowledgeable, honest, great communication, quality work, good prices. Would definitely go back for future auto needs. Thanks for the great service!
They were very polite and professional, constantly giving me updates on what was going on. They even stayed late to finish so I didn't have to rent a car as I had work the following day and wouldn't have time to drop it back off. I was very pleased with everything.
Very impressed with them. I will definitely go back.
We dropped our toyota off this morning and they had said it would be a few days but it took that day. They were knowledgeable and have great pricing and had just great quality overall.
I trust these guys to figure out what’s wrong and fix it. Jesse does a great job of explaining the problems and what they did to fix them.
Had an issue with our daughters’ older car. We found Oswald to be very professional, knowledgeable, and honest. Their inspection was thorough and they didn’t try to sell us on unnecessary repairs. The only complaint was how long it took to get the vehicle in for the repair. (10 days- probably because they are well…
Very good experience. I was very fortunate to even receive the car back that same day.
Superior service, a little expensive, but great service.
I felt like I was treated very fairly as a woman. I wasn’t talked down to like some places that I’ve experienced. Very honest, pictures and details of what was wrong. He said what needed to be done right away and what could hold off a bit for the future. I will take all Of my cars here!

I've been using Oswald's for my oil changes the last few years and I couldn't be happier with them. Service is always great. They always wipe down my dashboard and vaccum my van out. They've always been super honest about what repairs need done. They thought at one point I needed to change my air filters they pulled…
Oswald service and repair was a great experience from start to finish. They are great to work with and do what they say they will do, for the price they quote. I had no extras or unnecessary "problems" with my pick up. Great job, will definitely use again when the need arises.
