I've been going to the Paul Mitchell school in Portsmouth for years. Color, cut or advice, results and treatment are consistently great! Services are inexpensive so I can afford generous tips as encouragement. All of the learners have excellent guidance. I'm never disappointed.
Jordan did a great job working around my cochlear implant on left side of my head and even the detail of my incision.

It was a great experience getting my haircut by the student Sarah. Students are learning by Teachers were attentive and guiding her along the way to make sure that I was happy with the result. Price is great!
My hair stylist Z was amazing! She listened to what I wanted and delivered gorgeous results! She gave me highlights, a layered bob haircut, curtain bangs and a voluminous blowout! Highly recommend!

My Mom and I were visiting Portsmouth for the day. We both are over due for haircuts. I called ahead to make appointments for us. The student, Kate that cut my hair was lovely. She did an excellent job. The instructor checks the cut before you pay. I highly recommend them.

Lauren did a very nice job. Didn't get the teacher's name but he gave her a lot of tips, things that I had not heard instructors give in the past.
Hair cut from Harmony was excellent. Harmony was personable, attentive and professional and I love the results of her work.
I have gray curly hair and my stylist was so professional and friendly. I definitely gave her a challenge and she handled it remarkably well. Very professional job. Student was anxious to meet my need and expectation. A bit of a slow start because we had a blizzard the day before that hadn't been cleared in the city.
Student Addie did a terrific job in a short summer cut for me, skilled in clippering and short men's hairstyling, it was a pleasure to sit in her chair! The shampoo and scalp massage were top rate! Julia D. did a great job on my fade it was tight and she had a great eye for detail and she followed her instructor flawlessly.. I’m going back she was amazing!! She’s going to have a following when she gets out there !!!
Liliah was great overall. The cut (trim) was just right. She asked good questions. But she left the hair color on my roots for too long. And I believe too light of a touch and time to set when she was pulling the color through to the ends. Also, she could have been more thorough to take the color on my skin at the front hair line.
Haircut, wash & blowdry at great price! You have to allow extra time for the students, as they are just learning, but it is fun to watch their confidence grow at return visits.

Hair cut and shampoo was amazing! Student (Addie D) was outstanding, great chair side manner, clearly knew what she was doing with the clippers and did a great job! Easy to find, with parking across the street, and right next door to some great restaurants. Having a day in Portsmouth? You definitely need to fit a visit to PMTS into your trip!
