Google reviewers rate Posh Pup Grooming 4.8 out of 5 based on 31 reviews, highlighting consistent praise for detailed grooming, breed-specific care, and the facility’s dog daycare environment. Clients frequently note that their pets return happy and well-groomed, with staff demonstrating patience with sensitive animals and providing useful advice on maintenance. While most feedback is positive, isolated lower-rated comments cite high pricing relative to perceived quality and concerns about supervision in the waiting area.

Took my rescue poodle/bishonx for her first ever grooming. Vivian was wonderful- the pups were all loose, there is furniture for them to nap on. Very positive first grooming for a rescue pup. We have been going for a year now and I wouldn't go anywhere else. Vivian also told me how to get rid of tear stains- now gone!
Not only does Posh Pups do an amazing job on my dog but my dog absolutely loves going to the shop. He is so excited, plays with all his friends all day, and he comes home looking fabulous. We Lovu Vivian!
I highly recommend Posh Pup for all your dog grooming needs. Vivian runs a compassionate and detailed operation. Our dog Sunny always looks 100% better afterward his visit and he is always given meticulous care. Thank you Vivian!

What really sets them apart is how well they know exactly what each of our dogs needs every single time — no re-explaining, no guesswork, just consistent, great grooming. The best sign of a good groomer? Our dogs are actually excited to go there. No dragging paws or anxious pacing — they walk in happy, which tells you everything about how well they’re treated. On top of the grooming itself, the communication and customer service have been fantastic. They’re responsive, easy to book with, and always keep us in the loop. Highly recommend Posh Pup to anyone looking for a groomer they can trust long-term.

We have used PoshPup since moving to Walnut Creek after an unsatisfactory experience with mobile groomers. Vivian is super knowledgeable about all dog issues and an excellent groomer. Our dog loves the "doggy daycare" when we drop her off in the morning and pick her end of day. She spends the day playing with other dogs.
Vivian does an incredible job grooming my Cavalier King Charles. I was a very nervous, first-time dog owner and she quickly put me at ease with her calm strength, clear guidance and years of experience. I am so grateful that I know Doki is being so well taken care of when he’s with Vivian.
Vivian is wonderful. She does a fantastic job grooming and takes great care of our dog. Highly recommend!
Vivian is a talented dog groomer. We searched most of the East Bay for a hand stripping groomer and tried many different options. Lucky enough we found Posh Pup and have never looked back. Vivian listened and created a realistic grooming plan for our dog. She is personable, knowledgeable, and the best we’ve encountered.
