I have been seeing Jo for at least two years now. In the beginning, she helped me through a pretty dark time. I was sobbing mess anytime something difficult came along and was holding myself back. I am mostly continuing therapy for maintenance and still have a ways to go. However, over the years, she has helped me set/achieve goals, create personal boundaries, and learn how to better cope with stress/anxiety. I haven't felt the need to be on anti anxiety medication in a long time. (Side note: keep in mind everyone is different and need different tools on their mental health journey. There no shame if anyone needs additional help.) Jo is very friendly and approachable and has done a great job of helping me sort my thoughts and feelings whenever I am feeling overwhelmed. I was really hesitant to start therapy, but glad I was able to connect so well. I recommend anyone considering therapy to give her chance!
