Reasonable price and quality service are hard to find. I have both from Promax. Needed old furnace removed, they gave quote that you think competing quotes are ripping you off. Came the next day and job was done in ~30 minutes. Super courteous crew too.
I worked with the team at Promax to get a heat pump water heater installed to replace my aging gas heater. After some negotiating between contractors and working with my preferences for water heater make and model, we agreed on an install date and price.
They spent most of the day installing the water heater and quickly followed up the next day with some issues I experienced post install. A week later or so they came back to follow up with the city inspector.
Everything was relatively smooth and am awaiting my rebate from the electric company. I would work with them again.

Promax provided exceptional professional service for my heat pump and HVAC installation in my San Jose home. Their estimate included every detail and made me feel confident that I was getting everything done correctly and to code. They coordinated the entire permit process and included all the costs of it in the estimate. I passed the city inspection and HERS test and they even helped me with my rebate. Great experience with these guys. I got a quote for a heat pump installation from several HVAC companies, these guys were reasonable and explained the process well. The technicians installing were great, and they were able to finish quickly. Also helped with the documentation to get the inspection done as well.

The whole team of Promax Service Group is really efficient and no-nonsense and very professional. I really wondered why I didn't contacted them earlier. They gave me assurances that no other providers were very sure about and they delivered on their word. They do take pride on their work and even after various inspection stages had passed they kept turning the system to make sure I get best experience from the system they installed. Replaced our 47 year old gas forced air furnace with a central HVAC Mitsubishi. Very satisfied with everything from first visit to final inspection. Arranged a better placement of the outdoor unit than the other offers, arrived on time and finished installation when promised. Turned out I could not get the rebate from utility because I had not elected the alternative provider, and since Promax had included the rebate in all their information and offers, they gave me an additional discount to compensate. Very good communication while choosing what equipment I needed and in adjusting for our home's energy efficiency and existing mini-split. They were present for the city inspection to answer the inspector's questions and everything went smoothly. I can recommend them highly.
