I called Red Shovel Landscaping because they were recommended to me by another landscaping company who did not do yard clean up. Daniel Santos came to our house, checked for sprinkler leaks and repaired a leaky valve. He was polite, professional and efficient. Thank you!
I don't think Red Shovel needs any more reviews to prove how amazing they are, but I wanted to emphasize how great they are to work with. I have had other contractors do similar work for me, but everyone I have interacted with from Red Shovel has been kind and professional. A special thanks to Gilbert Calderon for…
This morning Edvin fixed the drip irrigation system in my front yard. He is polite and an expert in irrigation repairs and maintenance. I highly recommend him and Red Shovel.
We had same day yard cleanup and some tree trimming done by David M., Alan, and Edward. They communicated well, worked fast, and left our landscaping ready for the spring growth spurt ahead. This is a great company.
Carson and George came to my home to fertilize the trees and plants in my yard. They worked quickly and efficiently and took care of my entire yard. I also had some questions which they answered. I am very pleased with the service I received and would recommend Red Shovel to anyone looking for quality yard maintenance.
Red Shovel has done an amazing job for us. They xeriscaped our front yard in the fall and revitalized our backyard the following spring. The crew that did the backyard work (Craig, Nate, and Walter) did a better job than I would have done and in a fraction of the time. I think that they went the extra mile. They…
Just had Joseph C. and Antonio T. come by to spray for weeds. Very professional and fast!
Julian Valenwela and Josh Nelson planted a 15 gallon tree in my back yard and set up the emitters. Beautiful job, looks great! They were friendly and engaging, and worked until I was happy. * Additional review (4/12/24): Seth and Keegan came by and performed a thorough walkthrough/inspection of my irrigation…
The team [David, Marco and Yunior] did a very good spring clean up of our yard that needed it. They arrived on time, worked diligently and left the yard looking better than it has in several years
When my monthly water bill exceeded $100 I knew something serious was wrong! After Seth got to the irrigation system, he found the leak. Another visit fixed the leak with all new pipes and a very professional cleanup job as well. My water usage went from 12,000 gal/billing cycle to less than 7,000 gal. Everything about Red Shovel met my requirements.
David and Seth arrived promptly and were so helpful and knowledgeable. The job was done professionally and I was super impressed with these two gentleman. I highly recommend this company for any lawn irrigation issues.
Red shovel, and specifically Julian Valenzuela and Josh Nelson, not only delivered but went way beyond expectations. They were always on time, responsive, super professional, and were able to adapt and quickly make changes when we needed them to. They're the best! Thank you both!

I had Victor, Andrew and Vincent out today to plant some Creosote bushes to wrap up a yard renovation. They were fantastic! They were very nice, quick, and tidy. After they finished the job they even rearranged/redistributed rocks around the front yard to cover the weed block fabric and even pulled a couple weeds. Great crew!
Josh and David came out to fix a sprinkler leak that was bigger than I had thought. They did a great job. Personable. Answered all of my questions. After the repair was complete I couldn't tell they had moved dirt and rocks to finish the job. Well done!
Josh, Seth, David and Graysen were fantastic. They arrived before the estimated time and repaired my drip system in a short amount of time. Awesome work guys. Thanks so much

When you can get them out to do the work they do a great job, however, I have called and emailed them a number of times to get them to do some landscaping work and cannot get them to call me back.

Took almost a month to get an appointment but I assume that's because of repeat customer business which I am OK with. I will be a repeat customer. Lorenzo came out quickly diagnosed and fixed the problem. He was even early for my appointment. Thank you Red Shovel and Lorenzo.
Awesome service. Would highly recommend.
Never been happier with a yard service! I had 8000 sqft of turf removed. The crew went above and beyond clearing, installing edging, planting new trees, moving huge boulders and installing new sprinklers. The end result was better than my vision of what it could be! Huge appreciation for the professionalism,…
Josh and Dave repaired a leak in our irrigation system: great guys, friendly, professional and helpful. Explained everything so I could understand what was being fixed and why. Just a good ending to an annoying leak.

Update: Lorenzo arrived at 11:45. He is very personable and likable. He defiantly knows the business. He replaced the defective valve. It appears when the original technician replaced all of the valves they over tightened one of the valves in the backyard. I come to the conclusion that they didn't turn on the…

I just moved to Albuquerque and on move in day, my sprinklers were erupting on the front lawn. I had three different companies come out and they all started work, but never finished, in the middle of the summer so maintaining my lawn had been very challenging, to say the least. Josh and Brandon came by and took the…

I had hired another local service in the past, but there is no comparing the two—Josh and Brandon were very professional, walked through my system in detail, made recommendations for future improvements, and showed me how to make a few simple repairs/do…
ETA: We had a minor issue with our lawn. I called this morning, and Brandon and Josh came out the same day to fix it. They even went over how I've been caring for my lawn to make sure there were no points they needed to hit on. Red Shovel and its employees are wonderful. My yard went from a dust bowl to a green…

Thanks to Anthony, Miguel, Brandon,…
