Marshal, David, Leo, Joseph and Sab did such a remarkable job in both the front and backyard. I have a large property that after the rains had become full of weeds, trees and shrubs were overgrown and I was overwhelmed with even the thought of mowing with such a mess. They cleaned it up so beautiful, I will…
We needed extensive weed pulling and landscape cleanup of our property in Placitas. To say there were a lot of tumbleweeds would be an understatement. The Red Shovel team of Marshall, Sebastian, and Seth did an amazing job! They really exceeded all of our expectations. Cannot recommend Red Shovel Landscape enough! Thank you Marshall, Sebastian, and Seth!
Thank you, Red Shovel, for providing excellent service from start to finish. David M's crew (Leo, Joseph, Antonio, Hakeem, Sam M., & Ed) were all friendly and fabulous to work with. I had a list of groundskeeping tasks -- including the removal of cactus -- and they handled everything quickly, efficiently, and with…
David M., Leo, Joseph, Marshall, and Seth all did a great job cleaning up my yard. They were friendly, professional, and worked quickly.
Kevin, Jordan, and Cruz did an exceptional job. Highly recommend.
David,Leo and Joseph did a great job.
We had a yard cleanup of our property (clean up and shrub trimming, lawn mowing etc.). The crew consisted of David M, Leo, and Joseph. They were friendly, polite, on-time, and knowledgeable. It is the first time working with Red Shovel and they were very open and upfront about the process and scheduling. The pricing…

Yesterday was the second time I had Red Shovel out to work on the yard and all I have to say is it was outstanding.Everything came together with the attention to detail and hard work of David M, Leo and Joseph. They went beyond what I had expected. I''ve been so happy that I chose this company to take care of my landscaping needs.
Thank you so much David M., Leo and Joseph. Great service and amazing results.
Marshal, Seth and Sab cleaned up my yard, and did a great job. They showed up on time, were friendly and professional. Now I have one less thing on my to do list, and a yard that makes me smile instead of groan. Thank you!
We got overwhelmed with weeds in our yard and were so happy to find a service to help us. David M, Leo, and Joseph did a great job clearing the weeds. They were very conscientious to take care to not remove our wildflowers and to only get the weeds.
Gilbert Calderon came out and gave us an estimate for the work we want. He was on time, polite, professional, and very thorough. Marshall Sebay and his crew did a yard clean up and we are very impressed with their work. Everything looks so much better and it is such a relief to have people who know what they're doing.
Your guys did an excellent job for me and my Puppies. Weed removal and general cleanup. David M. ,Leo, & Joseph
Red Shovel came out and cleaned up the front and backyard. David, Leo and Jasso did an amazing job! I’m so happy with the outcome and I can see my front porch. Thank you!

They did a fantastic job and I'm already looking to schedule more services from them.
We recently had Red Shovel cut back an evergreen bush in our front yard. Kevin, Carson, and Miguel did an amazing job! They were very professional and answered all my questions. They qutoted me the price when they came out and was able to do the job right then. So glad we call Red Shovel!! Thanks for doing a great job!
Very happy with our service! The team was prompt, professional, and our yard looks amazing!! David M, Hunter, and Jose did a wonderful job.
Wow, we are very pleased with Red Shovel and our technician Keegan. Fair price, timely, and our yard is hardly recognizable without all the weeds. We would definitely recommend!
Excellent reliable yard services
David, Leo, Edward were great! Beautiful work!
Tony called ahead and arrived ready to go. He’s familiar with my property, which makes everything seamless. He came in, completed the job efficiently, gave us clear watering instructions, and was on his way. Scheduling was easy, communication was solid, and they performed remarkably. Looking forward to greener grass this year.
Marshall G., Ernesto, Elk and Kay did a great job building a wall and steps, took out old rocks and planted and cleaned. They were reliable and did great work!
I called Red Shovel Landscaping because they were recommended to me by another landscaping company who did not do yard clean up. The lady I spoke with on the phone (I'm sorry I did not get her name) was friendly and professional. She explained their services and fees clearly and concisely, and we set up a time for…
We moved to a home with a very neglected yard. I was very happy with previous service from Red Shovel, so I made an appointment with them for an overhaul of our overgrown mess. The team David M, Carson, Ed, Hakeem, Hunter, Jasper and Jose went to work and after few hours we now have a beautiful yard. David really…
I am so pleased with Red Shovel for a fantastic pruning and fall cleanup for my property. David Martin and his crew, (Leo & Hunter I think) were excellent! David M. & Hunter did a fantastic job tree trimming and leaf removal!! The team at Red Shovel does great work again!! Christine M.
I don't think Red Shovel needs any more reviews to prove how amazing they are, but I wanted to emphasize how great they are to work with. I have had other contractors do similar work for me, but everyone I have interacted with from Red Shovel has been kind and professional. A special thanks to Gilbert Calderon for…
I can’t say enough about Red Shovel and their crew: David, Leo and Edward. This team were a joy to have at our home. David, Edward and Seth did a tremendous job, first removing some bushes and then trimming and cleaning up the rest of my front and back yard. One slight snafu was later quickly repaired and my yard hasn't looked this good in quite a while. Hope to have them back in the spring.
Excellent service by David Martin, Edward and Seth! I appreciate all their attention they gave to remove all the weeds and leave my front and side yard looking spectacular. Thank you all very much!!
David M. and Edward did all I asked and more, leaving my yard much cleaner than I anticipated. They showed up on time and went to work as soon as I showed them what I needed done. This is why I always go with Red Shovel as they always deliver.
David M & crew showed up at the house ready to work. They did a great job trimming my hedges, pruning shrubs, pulling weeds and various other yard clean up tasks in a very timely manner. All the guys seemed to be enjoying their job as they worked. Thank you
We had them out for a one time yard cleanup. Our front was full of weeds, leaves, some plants we wanted removed, etc... they did an amazing job on the same day we called them.
David M Leo Edward and his team did a great job. A bit pricey. But would recommend.
Prompt and professional service. Within 24 hours of submitting web inquiry, I got a call back and had technician on site within 48 hours for free estimate. Services a bit pricey, but technician was able to work within my budget. Crew was professional, friendly, and did great work, performing all services agreed upon in a high quality manner.
I called Red Shovel to have a leak in my sprinkler system. This is the 2nd time I have called on them to fix my system. My review is the same... Update 8/20/25: Had David M. and his crew come out for our 3rd visit. As usual, they were on time and the yard looks stunning. They pulled all weeds, took out some elm trees, trimmed my pyracantha and various other shrubs and bushes, and cleaned up my lawns. My nearby neighbors have already come by asking who did…
Professional and polite service. Same day service and on time. Just a bit expensive in my opinion.
Hakeem, Miguel & Nick are wonderful! They worked as a team and our yard looks so much better!! We will definitely use them again!
I've been using Red Shovel for several years and my landscaping has never looked better. Most recently I had some additional plants installed by Edward and Elk who did great work. Red Shovel has done an amazing job for us. They xeriscaped our front yard in the fall and revitalized our backyard the following spring. The crew that did the backyard work (Craig, Nate, and Walter) did a better job than I would have done and in a fraction of the time. I think that they went the extra mile. They…

Professional, timely, polite, knowledgeable, incredibly…
Caruth, Marlon, and John G are professional and hard-working. They did a very nice job on my yard.
This is for James, Josh, and Julian. I had landscaping done that required stone wall work and instaling paver tiles. I've never seen such hard workers in my life! Andrew and Victor came out and did an outstanding job of cleaning up my front and back yards of weeds. Originally said it would take two days to complete the job but did it in one. Will definitely ask them back again.

Red Shovel redeemed our experience with landscapers! We have been super burned in the past but from the moment I called, it was a great expereince. They scheduled me extremely quickly, were prompt, completed the job efficiently, and spent quality time doing it. Not rushed and not wasteful. Andrew and his crew…
Jose and Raul are the two Red Shovel Landscape associates we have on a regular basis. Other members of the team come for other specific jobs, spraying etc. Jose and Raul are two of the hardest and most conscientious workers we have ever seen. Our lawn has improved greatly as well as the general grounds and bushes.…
Red Shovel was recommended to me by a friend who uses them annually for yard maintenance. I've had some bad experiences ith other smaller companies in town before not doing thorough work and charging a ton, so I wanted a recommendation. I had Anfernie, Gordon and Elk over to my property for a couple of days. WOW!…

Silas and Marlin are two professional and courteous workers that did a wonderful job cleaning up my front and backyard that has been neglected the past half year (weeds, leaves, overgrown bushes). Just moved into a new home that has been growing a bit wild for a few months, and I called Red Shovel to come mow, weed, trim and get rid of debris. Waiting to submit this until I moved and made the final payment. Abysmal service. No one answers the phone, when they do, they can't locate an account. Asked to be notified when workers arrived, never notified me. They charge $365 per month no matter if they come one or twice a month. They killed my trumpet…

River and his partner were great! However the price was very expensive (quoted me $400 and I paid $800 and thats not even including for them to come and spray which I declined since it would have been another $400...Cant justify paying $1200 for simple weed cleanup,...was also kinda bummed as they dont give any…

Aaron and Devin did a wonderful job on my yard. I definitely would use this service again.
I called Red Shovel to refresh my spotty 2000 sq ft river rock yard , which had gotten so sparse that the liner was exposed in several places. River, Aaron, Joe & Leroy showed up on time and installed 3 tons of new rock and evened out the distribution. Good attitude and communication.
Aarron and Devin were very thorough and professional. They did a great job and represent Red Shovel with a great attitude.
The two men that came to clean up my yard yesterday, June 29,2021 were wonderful. It started raining fairly hard and I thought they would tell me they had to leave and come back. However they stayed in the truck until the heavy rain halted, and then in the drizzle/sprinkling they continued to do their job. They…
Aaron, Devon and Eloy did a great job for me with my yard cleanup! They were on time, professional, good communicators, and diligent in their work. They listened to what I was requesting, and didn't even balk at any of my odd requests (like please leave the verdolagas...sure, technically a weed, but super good for…
Aarron and Joe did an excellent job cleaning up a commercial property. Robert & Devin followed up with regular maintenance keeping it sharp!
River, Eloy and Cameron did a great job moving my rating from four stars to five stars.
They did a great job except for the top of the hedge on the west front of my property. If you would send someone out to finish (need a ladder) I’ll give you the extra star.
Aarron and Joe did an amazing job with our yard cleanup today. They were professional, on time, and their work is impeccable. I would HIGHLY recommend them to anyone looking for a great yard crew!
Our Team was Aaron and River and they did an amazing job. I drove up and the you could feel the whole place was just perked up and ready for spring! Then we walked around our whole yard and were grateful that we had decided to get help with the yard. Thank you Aaron and River for the great work you did! This is…
Don and Devin were exactly one time, and did a fantastic job removing weeds and maintaining existing plants and landscaping

Jose, Roberto and Jerwin are great, very professional, friendly and care about how our home looks
Aarron was great! On time, got everything we asked for (and then some!) done well, and was super nice. We'll definitely ask for him for any future work we need done.
Aarron and Joe did a great job!
Aarron and Joe did a super job cleaning up our front and back yards. My picky wife, Anka, is German and has very high standards. Your men exceeded them. I will highly recommend your company to our neighbors! Thank you. Fred Miranda
I don't typically do Google reviews, but the service I received from Red Shovel was so incredible I just had to share it! When I called to get information and to make my appointment, Kyle was so helpful. I really appreciated his stellar customer service. Joey came out on Tuesday and performed an inspection on our…
Don & Devin came today and did a wonderful job on our sudden growth this Spring. Lots of weeds and overgrown trees and shrubs. Everything looks so manicured now. They even removed a large & rusty old umbrella stand that was bolted into the cement. It was here when we bought the house recently. They were very…
Jose and Roberto are excellent and conscientious. They asked us this last time if we wanted to skip the bush trimming since we had flowers. Absolutely as they are attracting bees and we didn’t mind if they were a little scraggly. Our lawn is cared for perfectly with them.
Very professional and polite. Don and Devin did an exceptional job! Would definitely use this service again. They trimmed everything to my expectations and hauled away all the debri.
Bad customer service
This company has EXTREMELY POOR customer service. I requested a quote for an irrigation system and clean up. I never received the quote for the irrigation system. The clean up crew came and dug out actual plants from the landscaping including a jasmine plant, 2 lavender shrubs, sage, 2 kiwi vines and cut down a…
Update: Today we had an irrigation service specialist, Josh, out to inspect our drip system, reprogram our control panel and replace some failed drip attachments in a few stations around the yard. He called ahead to coordinate, arrived on time and accomplished his work in timely fashion. I estimate his services…
