I can't be any more impressed with Sam and Ramzey. I won't take my hybrid vehicle anywhere else when it comes to the electrical components. Highly knowledgeable and excellent work EVERY time!!
Little hole in the wall shop, big job performance. I have had my ABS replaced here, my radiator fan, my shocks with ball joints and my whole engine on my prius. Far cheaper than going to the dealership to get the work done. It might not be done right away since they have a lot of work to do but they will get around to it and the work will be thorough.
I talked to the guy/technician 3 different times to confirm our 9am appointment this morning. Your Google page says 9am, our agreed upon time was 9am BUT BY 10 AM NO ONES THERE!? The complete disregard for my time and complete disrespect to blow off and appointment is disgusting. As a former customer I will never return.
Ramzey did an excellent job replacing thehybrid battery in my Prius and fixing the AC. He went ahead and did other things that he saw I needed done as well like replacing the battery connection etc. Overall Great customer service.
Sam and his team are hands down the best hybrid technicians available. Don't let the size of their small shop fool you- these guys are true experts. I normally deal with Sam directly who is a knowledgeable professional. Today, I arrived to drop off my vehicle or make an appointment. I was met by someone who didn’t introduce himself and had no identification to indicate he’s an employee for Sam. He told he to come back Monday because they are too busy. I asked to get on the books to which he responded “your on the books now, we don’t have an appointment system” to which I asked “then how do I know you’ll have time for me next Monday” he said “I’ll remember” he walked away and didn’t introduce himself. Hopefully this makes its way to Sam so it can be addressed and I’ll remove the comment.
Sam's Auto works on hybrid cars. For 9 years , Sam has been the mechanic for two of my cars. I purchased a rebuilt hybrid prius from him about 7 years ago and it is still running great. Zero issues. Throughout the years he has always given me the lowest estimates and I am more than satisfied with the service and work performed. I plan to buy another car from him for my child. After 9 years, I am 100% confident in my choice to buy it from Sam's Auto, and I don't feel it is necessary to shop around. I highly recommend Sam's Auto UPDATE : previous post was March 2024. Today's post: 5/4/24 engine light came on. Autozone said that it was alternator or hybrid battery. Sam opened the hood and with one look said it was the water pump. It took about 20 minutes to fix and the car is still running great. UPDATE: Today's date: 11/13/25. I have not seen Sam for about 6 months, but there is a nice young man that changes the oil. I have not had any issues with my car.
I got my wheel bearings redone here last year and Sam went above and beyond. I felt he was very honest and reasonably priced, and he fixed several smaller problems on my car for free without being asked to. Definitely the best experience I've had with a mechanic so far.
