Roger managed to remove black algae from our pool. This is an extremely difficult algae to remove and requires specialist chemicals and technique to be a success. We only had about 10 days before the grandchildren arrived so he came up with as modified plan to get the best result within the limited timeframe. He met the deadline and our pool looked fabulous for our visitors.
His pool knowledge was clearly way above what we experienced with previous companies so I can recommend him without reservation.
He will always now be our goto for pool repairs.
We switched to Shimmer a few months ago for our weekly pool maintenance and it’s been night and day compared to our last company. Roger is super reliable and always leaves the pool in perfect shape. I can tell they actually care about their work. Our water quality has improved so much since they took over.

We’re so glad to hear you’re enjoying the service! Taking care of your pool is always a pleasure for us.
Shimmer Pool Service is the best. Roger could see we were at our wits end trying to get a leak in our pool system fixed. He made the time in his busy day to come and see what the problem was and explained what needed to be done. He corrected the problem and came back the next day to make sure it was no longer leaking. Highly recommend this company.

Roger and team were amazing! They replaced my broken pump and managed to clean the absolute swamp that was my pool. They are very prompt, communicative, considerate and extremely professional. I can't recommend Shimmer enough!!
