I really appreciate how honest he was with me. He tried his best to help fix my coolant leak, but the bolts were too rusted from Snow salt to safely remove, so he gave me honest advice to protect my car from bigger damage. He even gave me a ride to help me out. Thank you so much, big brother! I really appreciate your honesty and care. Take care!

We’re sorry your experience did not meet your expectations, but we’d like to clarify a few facts.
The $50 estimate was for installing one plastic sheet, not an entire cover. You arrived with additional parts, no mounting hardware, and were unsure if the parts would even fit your vehicle.
Additional work and materials come at an additional cost. Being friendly and respectful doesn’t mean we can provide extra labor or materials for free.
We explained the price before starting, and you chose not to proceed. No work was performed, and no payment was collected.

Silicon Auto is the best, most professional, most efficient, and affordable mechanic in the bay area. Their diagnostic service is like a root-cause analysis and they can find exactly what the problem with the car is. Their cost of service is the lowest, while their quality of service is the highest. They are very efficient and offer the same-day service, sometimes by staying more hours in their shop. They can diagnose and repair both mass-market (like Toyota and Honda) and luxury brands (like Mercedes-Benz).
I strongly encourage everyone to do their car service at Silicon Auto.

10/10 experience. I was searching for a mechanic in Fremont who would treat me like family. My mom has a 2011 Sienna LE with almost 200,000 miles on it and I had a sneaking suspicion that the suspension, brakes rotors, axles, and other original parts may have finally worn out.
Mahmood promptly inspected my vehicle, went down the entire list of specific concerns I hard, and then showed me the entire front suspension while the car was on the lift to visually see the broken, damaged, and worn out components.
In one day I had all four brake pads and rotors replaced OEM, and within the next few days he basically rebuilt the entire front suspension for me (front axles, front lower control arms and ball joints, front strut assemblies).
Within the week this Sienna drives like new again and we couldn’t be happier. He road tested it for us, made performed an alignment, gave us warnings for future things we should keep in mind (e.g transmission fluid at 200k miles), and even did a load test on my alternator so I could start planning some electrical work I plan to do on the van to convert it into a part time camper for traveling through the state and national forests.
All newly installed parts are covered by a two year warranty, which is really confidence inspiring. I’ll be bringing in the rest of the family’s cars here from now on. Trusted, great prices, and you’ll walk away learning a thing or two about how to best maintain your car that the dealerships will never tell you.
