SROA does not allow more than one person on a contract, and therefore cannot guarantee access to more than one user of a storage space.
I shared a storage unit with the contract-holder, but they accidentally locked my key in the storage unit while we were loading items together. I required urgent access a week later for an impending move, but the contract-holder was out of the country with the other key.
The contract-holder called SROA and requested that they cut the lock or otherwise provide me access to the unit. SROA refused, stating that the contract-holder had to appear in person and provide a valid ID in order for me to access the unit. They acknowledged that the contract-holder asked for this by phone, from the phone number on the contract, but SROA refused to provide me access despite the contract-holder's specific instructions.
If you want a storage service that can provide guaranteed access to more than one person, SROA isn't it.
