Customers frequently praise the company for its punctuality, clear communication, and fair pricing relative to competitors. Reviewers highlight successful installations of xeriscaping, irrigation systems, hardscaping, and sod, noting that the team offers creative design solutions and handles large projects efficiently. While most feedback is positive, one recurring criticism involves sod installation issues where improper watering schedules due to timeline choices resulted in weak turf and significant maintenance problems.

These guys were quick and clean, best money I’ve ever spent. I was quoted a huge amount less than competitors and they did better work. Over 200 sq feet of fence and it looks awesome 👍

His bid was extremely fair compared to other quotes we received. We were thoroughly impressed with the quality of work and appreciated Ivan’s straightforward, honest communication throughout the process. We could not be happier with the job they did for us and they did it all. Sod, xeriscaping, sprinklers, flagstone patio, fire pit, landscape lighting, water feature, a little bit of fencing & even some custom stairs. The best thing about working with Ivan and his team was we just had a rough idea. He took that rough idea and our blah DIY backyard and turned it into an awesome backyard that my family and I will be enjoying for years to come. I now understand the term "outdoor living space". His crew is amazing, always polite and courteous even while working in the heat and dust. The gentleman that did the majority of the flagstone is an absolute artist. And they are a home grown local company right here in Grantsville! They did our front yard a couple years back and we loved it so much we brought them back for the back but even after the great experience with our front yard we are blown away with how the amazing our backyard turned out. Bravo to you and your team Ivan, Bravo. I cannot recommend Taylor Made Home Improvements enough. You will not go wrong with these guys. seriously a top notch outfit.
If I could give 7 stars I would! Ivan, Nicole, and the entire Taylor Made team are a well-oiled machine! Amazing communication skills, reliable, fair, and so patient with the back and forth that comes with planning big projects!
We hired them to Xeriscape our front yard and had an amazing experience from the start! They were quick to respond after I submitted the initial inquiry. I got a call from Nicole who started with asking “what’s important to you when working with a contractor?” That was a first for me, I didn’t expect it and felt full confidence and trust in them after learning about their business and them taking the time to learn about us and our goals. They didn’t disappoint! Ivan is a great communicator, so patient with questions! Their crew is respectful and kind, and hard-working.
You really can’t go wrong with these folks. I will recommend them to all my family and friends!
Posting a before pic and some after pictures too, they took our vision and brought it to life while also making it even better than we hoped! There are perennials spread out over the yard that will grow and fill in the space with color. I will post an updated review once that happens!

Ivan and his team helped us design our yard, working with a great attention to detail for our wants and needs and most importantly budget.
Affordable landscaping is hard to come by, and even more rare to be of great quality.
Our xeriscape or xeroscape meadow design had several parts with sod, grading, pavers, sprinklers and drip lines, rocks, trees, and finding the best options for plants- both for blooms of color to feed pollinators and hardiness in Utah.
We would recommend Taylor Made to anyone in Tooele County that has a yard project big or small and they need help getting things started.
