I hired TDC Tile Installers for a heated floor in the bathroom and the electric mat was the part i was nervous about. They tested it before, during and after the tile went down, and spent an hour on the layout alone so the one full tile at the door way landed where you see it. The floor is warm, and the grout has no cracks after a winter of use.

TDC redid our master bathroom shower and the tile work is what makes the whole thing. We went with a subway tile on the walls and a smaller mosaic on the floor and both came out clean. The niche they built into the wall for shampoo and stuff is done really well, all the cuts inside it are tight and lined up. What I…

had a kitchen backsplash that was put in by the previous owner and it was a mess. tiles were uneven, grout lines all over the place, and a few spots where you could see the wall behind. drove me crazy every time i made coffee. got TDC out for a quote and they were upfront that the whole thing needed to come down and…

Had cracked tiles in the bathroom that kept getting worse. TDC came in and replaced everything. Fixed the underlayment issue that was causing it. No more cracking. Looks great now 👌

What I care about most is it doesnt leak and drains right, which the old one never did properly. The bench in the corner is tiled to match and sits solid. Grout is even everywhere I look and the edges where the tile meets the ceiling are straight. They matched the floor tile pattern into the doorway so it flows out into the rest of the bathroom nicely. The shower feels like something out of a hotel now instead of the dated thing we had. Every morning I still notice how much better it looks.

Our shower floor had cracked grout and a couple loose tiles that were letting water through to the subfloor. After comparing a few Chicago quotes, TDC came in reasonable and could start the soonest. They pulled up the damaged section, dealt with the wet spot underneath, and retiled it so it actually matches the original. No more soft spots, no more water seeping. The shower has been bone dry for weeks now and the repair blends in better than I expected.

been wanting to redo our bathroom floor for like two years and finally pulled the trigger. got a quote from TDC and it was straightforward no weird upsells or anything. they scheduled us pretty quick too which was nice because i half expected to wait weeks. the crew came in and just got to work, didnt have to babysit anyone or keep checking in. took a couple days and the tile looks great. even the grout lines are super even which i notice because our old floor was a mess. glad we finally did it

We had been putting off redoing the bathroom floor for like two years because the last contractor we talked to made it sound like this massive ordeal and honestly I just didn't want to deal with it. My sister had her entryway done by TDC and kept bugging me about it so I finally reached out. The initial conversation was pretty low key, they asked about the space and what kind of tile I was thinking and gave me a realistic timeline which I appreciated because I've been burned before by people promising stuff they can't deliver. They came out on a Wednesday and the whole crew was quiet and focused, like they just kind of got to work without a lot of back and forth. The part that sticks with me is how careful they were around the door threshold where it meets the hallway hardwood, because that transition in our Evanston place had always been a little janky. Took about four days total and the grout color matching was something I didn't even think to worry about but they brought it up early on. Now I keep finding excuses to walk through there barefoot.

Backsplash came out really clean, like the patterns lines up perfectly around the outlets which I know is annoying to do. Our Chicago kitchen finally looks like it belongs in 2026

TDC installed porcelain tile in our entryway and mudroom and handled the tricky parts well. We have a lot of foot traffic and needed something durable, so they recommended an appropriate mortar for the tile size and explained cure times. They took time on prep, made sure the surface was flat, and kept the spacing consistent across both rooms so it reads as one continuous area. Transitions to the adjacent flooring are smooth, and the baseboards went back on without gaps. What stood out most was how organized they were, tools and boxes stayed in one spot, and they cleaned up at the end of the day so we weren't living in a construction zone. I would highly recommend them.

We had several loose tiles near the tub and grout that kept breaking apart, so it felt like a water problem waiting to happen. TDC Tile removed the failed sections, repaired the base, and reset the area so the tile sits flat again. They matched the grout color to the existing floor and explained what likely caused the movement. The repair blends in well, and the bathroom feels stable instead of crunchy underfoot.
