Came on for a quick fix, my skid plate fell off and I needed it reattached. Isaiah was very welcoming and helpful; they fixed it up for me for free and in approx 10 minutes. Also, they had CapriSun in the fridge
I had my car towed here by AAA and first the AAA driver told me that tech One was very popular. I must say being new to Austin I was kind of nervous at first but right away I felt at ease the experience was awesome. Terry made me feel that I could put my trust and confidence in the service and it was phenomenal I'm…
Brian was great on the air suspension struts and blend door actuator. Those two jobs could not be much more different, but he knew what was needed on both and kept the information accurate without overcomplicating anything. He was responsive, practical, and clearly comfortable dealing with both mechanical and HVAC…
Efficient, professional and friendly. Got everything I needed in a timely manner
Wonderful experience with an incredibly courteous and personable staff all around. Brian Costenza will take great care of you specifically! Maintenance was completed quickly and I felt extremely informed at every step of the process. Would highly recommend supporting this business.
I will recommend any and everyone not to waste money and time at this place!!! Over a year ago, my brakes were a nightmare! 5 X I returned!! 5..and I paid an oil change, that wasn't done. I came back to give another chance...you guessed right returned again!!! What's wrong with this place.I believe they pick up…
Had a great overall experience, reached out for a quote and then called to other places. Tech one reached back out, kept me informed every step. Made the entire process easy and enjoyable. Shout out to Terry for all his help.
Billy at TechOne is a gem of a human being. He is so patient in how he explains the repairs or work to be done. I don’t feel pressured to make decisions, rather I feel equipped to make good decisions based on my budget and needs for the car. And if I can’t afford a repair - he’ll help me determine which ones are a…
Absolutely amazing service. Everyone was super nice and helpful. Brian worked with me to get my car ready to trek through the desert and gave me a great deal. He even PAID for an uber to take me to and from the shop. Dude is a legend.
Extremely helpful and efficient. Got my daughter's car fixed in a day and even provided an Uber for her when she dropped the car off.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I had a great experience with Tech One Automotive on Burnet Road! Everyone was friendly, professional, and made the entire process easy and stress-free. I really appreciated the great customer service and attention to detail. I would definitely recommend Tech One Automotive to anyone looking for a trustworthy and reliable automotive shop! 🚗✨
Overall very good, but in the almost 10 years I’ve been going to Tech1, they missed something!! The inspection expired on 5/25, I’d forgotten about it, so I didn’t mention it & they didn’t catch it .
I’ve been coming to TechOne for a few years now for all of my car services and repairs. They have continued to show that they are priced competitively, have a quick turnaround, and are honest about their work. I have had my a/c go out twice now since living in Austin - the first time I had the part replaced with…
First repair with them they seemed pretty open and honest. It was an expensive fix, but the price breakdown made sense. After driving home immediately the car started having battery charging issues. I figured it was a fluke, but it was a little upsetting. 3 months later (this week) unfortunately I had a coolant…
I recently brought in my 2011 Cadillac CTS for repair. There was a some type of noise being heard near the front end of the car. They were able to diagnose the problem and got me taken care of. They also sent me a follow up just to make sure everything was running smoothly after the repair. Top notch service with my experience and repair service.
These guys are absolutely rockstars. My Acura MDX was not blowing cold air. Acura dealership gave me an estimate of 5k and told me that even after spending that much the AC may never work. At least couple of repair shops made me change the compressor but AC still did not work. I took my car to Daniel. He was very…
Been a fan and customer of Tech One on Burnet from day one, since they have been open. Trent and the gang have always been honest, efficient, professional, and personable. They do what they say and say what they do- bottom line. Never a surprise or "bait and switch" tactic. They even offer financing if your plastic…
I recently took my car to Tech One Automotive for routine maintenance and to replace the compressor and condenser, and I couldn't be happier with the service. The entire experience was top-notch, especially thanks to Isaiah. He was friendly, professional, communicative, and kept me updated throughout the process,…
I love Tech One. I’ve used them about 4 times for some pretty difficult diagnoses on my beloved Land Cruiser. Upon my first call there I met one of their service consultants Terry. Terry is absolutely the best. He’s an extremely chill thoughtful guy who is caring and direct and very knowledgeable. He knows the right…
I can't say enough great things about Tech One Automotive! If you're looking for an honest, dependable automotive shop with outstanding customer service, Tech One Automotive is the place to go. A huge thank you to Carissa! She is absolutely amazing and made my visit a pleasure. She is friendly, knowledgeable,…
We weren’t sure what was going with our older vehicle so we dropped it off with Tech One for an assessment. I didn’t have a way back home so they ordered me an uber which was such a relief. They gave me a thorough review of what all needed to be done, which wasn’t surprising given it’s an older car and we probably…
DO NOT TRUST THIS SHOP WITH YOUR VEHICLE I'm editing this review to further make my point of how untrustworthy this shop is. It's now been 8/9 MONTHS since I was told to not drive my vehicle, and it's still running just fine. I just swapped back to the OEM 18-inch wheels and the ride is completely smooth. No…
Been to the Cedar Park location twice now. I don't think I've ever met such welcoming, professional, and accommodating people EVER! Repaired my car, running like a champ, and treat you like a valued customer. Thank you!!
Pretty quick turn around, went in for a diagnostic came out with a repair not too pricey. Harmonic Crank Shaft I believe on a Dodge, good work
Honest,reliable and highly skilled!
Great service!! I continue to go to TechOne at 8601 Burnet Rd. Billy Stillson is my service advisor and helped me today. I had everything checked, an oil change, new wiper blades, emissions check and also got a quote on new tires. Handy location and very clean shop. Great prices and always dependable and courteous.
Carissa at Burnet Rd is the best service rep I have worked with... after 25 years at Nissan dealerships for maintenance, I am so impressed with her knowledge, professional guidance and ability to make car repair as enjoyable as possible. The techs are all skilled and knowledgeable, and I am a Tech One customer for life.
Excellent customer service Daniel went way. and beyond to take care other of me with his customer service.
Techone is my go to auto shop. Carissa helped me get everything I needed for my car. She and the team are awesome!
I’ve been bringing my car to TECH ONE for a couple years now I think I found folks raving about them on Reddit and that’s how I got there in the first place. What I really appreciate it and why I keep coming back is because Billy has been my Service consultant and when I first came in, I was so used to being helped…
I’ve used Tech One Automotive multiple times now, and every experience has been great. The whole team there is wonderful, but Billy has helped me several times, and he’s always been super kind, helpful, professional, and honest. He actually listens to your concerns, explains things clearly, and I’ve always felt…
When a man country man named Rooster tells you it’s a good auto shop, you best listen to his words. I was unexpectedly stranded on a ranch road, and a kind neighbor stepped outside and told me I need to see Daniel at Tech One Auto, the honest mechanics. After my tow, I was quickly told it would be a simple job and…
My car got a coolant leak. I called Tech One and Isaiah German advised to bring the car in for a free inspection. They found a rodent problem under the car hood that chewed up the coolant hoses. They also found the sway bars leaked and needed replaced. The whole repair took over 2 days because they had to order the…
They always do a great job! Love taking my car here. I recommend Tech one! The staff is great as well and always do their best to make sure we leave happy and satisfied. Thank you!
I have been bringing my 04 4Runner here for a couple of years now. Recently I have them replace a whole host of parts to make it drive like it should. My point of contact Carissa did a great job of keeping communication clear and to the point. (Conclusion) This company makes repairs a breeze!
Carissa is so knowledgeable and answers all the questions I have about my vehicle. I know that I can call her no matter what if I’m having any issues or questions, and she has the answers.
My car had to be towed to a nearby auto shop and Tech One was close by. God couldn't have set this up better! Daniel was a great advisor and went above and beyond to ensure my car was good to go. Very nice employees, professional and friendly! Isaiah was great as well, highly recommend! Genuine and honest!
TechOne Automotive has been consistently excellent. Every vehicle I’ve brought in and every visit I’ve made has been handled professionally and efficiently. Maintenance work has always been done right the first time, with no issues afterward. Reliable, straightforward, and dependable. I highly recommend them.
I have been referred to Tech One by several folks, and can confirm that they do good work. I had an annoying vibration up front, so took it in for a look. While the issues (multiple) were not what I expected, Maggie was very professional and clearly communicated everything that they found, what order of priority…
The team at Tech One has taken care of me twice in the last month. They were efficient, explained the work thoroughly and finished on time. Highly recommend.
UPDATE - March 20, 2026 I am updating my rating to 3 stars. The Manager, Austin, personally stepped in to address my concerns. They have now resolved the initial mistakes, and I feel significantly safer driving the vehicle now that the repair is complete. I plan to update again in a few weeks once I’ve confirmed the…
Absolutely recommend. They are more than fair and stand behind their work and services
Always fabulous. I trust few humans. These guys I trust. They have proved this each time I bring in my car for service. Honest mechanics are hard to find and Tech One has won this title for me.
This is the second time I have used Tech One Automotive. I am impressed by the good and quick service I have received. I have been greeted with professionalism. I was pleasantly surprised to find they fixed a window on my vehicle that wouldn't go completely up and it seems got another window to work automatically. :)
I was always satisfy of your company and the expert team of operation. Thanks of all of them for understanding their very important job.
How much more can I praise these folks?! 10 Stars! Got me in very early on Monday morning. Courtesy Vehicle to work and had me ready by Lunch. Extremely satisfied Superior Customer service. I recommend them to so many people.
One of the hardest things to find is a good automotive shop, and Tech One Automotive is the best in Austin area. Clean, helpful, fast, and honest work with great staff.
This is the most professional auto shop I’ve ever worked with, and I’ve been coming here for years. I appreciate their excellent customer service, and transparency at every step. They recently went above and beyond to diagnose a tricky issue, while loaning me a car to use in the meantime. I’m always recommending this shop. So grateful for their service.
Very pleased with my service. Its always worrying when the CEL comes on. The shop did their due diligence and affected repairs to the part that was the most likely cause. This however did not solve my issue. Tech one took it upon themselves to further troubleshoot the issue in-depth, and traced it back to a benign…
Billy was wonderful! Super insightful guy and very helpful during a stressful time. This is my place, going forward.
Quick, easy to schedule, fair pricing, and quality work. I've always been a backyard mechanic but I moved and can't work on my car anymore so I'll be taking my car here from now on. I'm really impressed with their customer service, honest and eager to do what's right for a long term customer relationship
Tech One Automotive did an outstanding job on a very challenging car. We brought them a 2014 Cadillac with a salvage title that had sat for years and had serious electrical and power steering issues that made it unsafe to drive. They truly had to play detective. Our advisor, Terry, was excellent throughout the…
No better shop in Austin. Thank you to Daniel for being so helpful!
Professional staff. Good service. Fair prices. Quality work! I’ve been a customer for about 5 years now.
What a great overall experience I just had at Tech One Automotive. I had some random car issues this morning so was on the hunt for a good, reliable, and vetted mechanic and had this place recommended to me by a coworker and I’m so glad they did! If you’re looking for a good place to take your car, come here. Even…
Great experience! Very good, transparent communication. I also appreciated the loaner vehicle while my car was worked on! Thank you, Daniel and team!
I burned out my clutch in bumper to bumper traffic on 183 in an area of town I'm not familiar with. Absolute nightmare. As I was waiting for my tow truck to arrive I googled Mechanics Near Me and Tech One popped as an option. Had my car towed to them with fingers crossed since I knew nothing about them. Isiah was…
The Tech One team knows how to take care of you. They do thorough inspections, show you pictures, descriptions, have a great website interface for reviewing estimates and work. They don't try to upsell you or anything. Good people!
The work has always been good quality The staff are very informative in showing the issues and the ways to repair.
From three yeas ago, neglected to post: Again, Tech 1 is an all-service auto shop. I went in recently with coupons and questions/concerns about the tires and needing an oil change, for sure. They assured me that they would check everything and figure out which coupon to use, and I trusted them to do so. Totally.…
Tech One and all of the people there are very amazing accommodating and provide excellent service
Great service. Quick, reasonable and honest. Even provided an uber to my next destination while the work was being performed.
Awesome guys wonderful work I would recommend them to anybody. I’m very pleased with all the service I’ve gotten there thanks guys and God bless y’all.
Great customer service with mechanics that do a very good job . They’ve kept my truck running for a long time. I feel like their pricing is competitive.
Tech One has always treated us right- we have been taking our cars here for the last 12 years. Longer than that for my partner. While it’s true that they can be a bit more expensive than other places, we have never had to return a car to be serviced for the same problem twice. They are thorough- they inform you of…
I have been here several times over past year or so and they have been best customer service I have had with auto issues. Daniel was fantastic and took care of everything with extended warranty and I was in and out same day.
I've taken my cars to Tech Auto for over 10 years. They have proven to be 100% honest about the repairs needed, and the costs. They do good work, and their prices are within the typical range in Austin Texas.
Fast, friendly, efficient, and reasonably priced. I had a great experience overall. I really appreciated the service advisor, Terry for breaking down the recommended services into layman terms for a non-car expert such as myself. I Would definitely recommend and plan to use them in the future.
Great people, great service, and great prices. Bonus points for having a clean and comfortable waiting room to relax or get some work done during shorter appointments.
These guys are great. They really took care of my wife and I this week with maintenance and and an emergency tire replacement. Not the cheapest, but if you want honest, customer centric, professional service, give them a ring.
They were great about taking my car in right away due to the battery starting to fail. Cost was fair and service was quick.
My husband and I rely on the quality care and services from Tech One…we don’t take our cars anywhere else. We have both been in the last couple of weeks and Billy made sure that everything we needed was taken care of quickly and affordably. Thanks, Tech One!
Billy and everyone I dealt with at Tech One was great. It was my first time to take my car in and they were very welcoming and transparent, taking special steps to make sure my older car was cared for while there. They fixed what needed fixing without surprising work or expenses. Highly recommended, it’s nice to have a reliable, honest mechanic option.
Went to Tech-One on Burnett Rd for a smog check, called and got an appointment same day within an hour, of my call. That was refreshing because 3 places I called prior, did not have a technician to perform the smog check, and the next appointment was till Monday next week, not good!! Arrived, Billy took care of…
Great group of folks, fair and reasonably priced Trent Pappin is always there and ready to help with great customer service. I'll always go back!
I'd highly recommend Tech One. They have provided great service for my aging SUV over the years and has made it easy for me to work around my work schedule with their shuttle service. Everyone is professional, and I've been working with Trent, because of his top notch customer service.
very professional and courteous; waiting room was clean and had coffee and snack available; bathroom was also clean; very easy to schedule appointment online!
Great service, very professional and courteous. Easy to schedule. Done right the first time. Thanks!
My name is Max and I've been taking my Mazda here a few times to get it fixed, and I've never had any issues with tech one. They always do an amazing job and I feel comfortable leaving my car with them cause I know that it will be in good hands.
This is a very reputable place to have their car repaired. They went above and beyond for me.I am very naive when it comes to serious car repair and they were incredibly understanding and did a fantastic job keeping my 2016 Kia Soul running well.I am officially a fan forever!
