Reviewers highlight the community's convenient downtown location, daily food service, and resident autonomy as primary benefits. The facility offers biweekly cleaning, laundry, and transportation to medical appointments, fostering a strong sense of community among residents. However, critics note that the apartments are small and dark. Additionally, visitors and personal caregivers report that the parking situation is difficult to navigate, with tickets frequently issued to those assisting residents.

Senior Independent Living at its finest! Great food prepared nightly by Daphne. Cleaningservices biweekly, laundr scheduled, coffee, tea and breakfast bar in the mornings. Lovely apartments, involved residents and a very good vibe. One can hire caregivers to.come in as necessary.

Probably the fanciest retirement village in Eugene. Minimal staff, maximum resident autonomy, and excellent food prepared from scratch daily. The residents come from widely varied backgrounds, and they are all very open and welcoming. I plan to retire here, if a better option doesn't present itself within the next thirty years.

My mother-in-law is comfortable at the Abbey. She feels like part of a family and the units feel like guest rooms at a country manor. Food is included, so she doesn't have to cook or do much grocery shopping. During quarantine they are delivering meal trays to the rooms. Rides are provided to medical appointments,…

I write this as the daughter of a new resident of The Abbey. My mother moved in during 2020 and loves it. She's thriving with the community around her, having her own private space, and the nutritious meals. She also appreciates the shared spaces, like the library and the computer station. I've been impressed…

Food is included, so she doesn't have to cook or do much grocery shopping. During quarantine they are delivering meal trays to the rooms. Rides are provided to medical appointments, which is critical to persons that don't drive. The staff is very safety conscious and supportive. This is a great deal for the price.
