Always very professional and they take the time to make sure that I understand how the A/C system is working and I understand anything that needs to be done to the air handler or condenser. Rick, Gabrielle, Mike, and James have all been great, and I definitely recommend them. I'm updating this review in 2026. I've…
The Comfort Authority has always sent honest technicians. Glenn and Alyssa were professional and friendly. They both explained the process and physically showed us what was going on with our air conditioning units. They offer products, but aren’t pushy, just informative.
Alyssa was fantastic! Friendly, professional, informative - thank you Alyssa!
Alyssa did a great job with helping to figure out why and how we had a leak from our new AC system drain line. She corrected the issue by actually gluing the joint together where it enters the wall and then did a hot water flush with a vacuum on the exterior, which was able to remove some additional crud from the…
My AC stopped working late Sunday night and my house was up to 84 degrees inside. I texted the Comfort Authority well after business hours and they were immediately responsive about my issue and informed me they could have someone out asap the following morning. I was very impressed by how quickly they were able to…
Highly recommend the Comfort Authority! Ura did a great job.
Chris D was great! I'm very impressed that The Comfort Authority was able to get someone out to the house and do the repair within the afternoon. Coming back a few years later after another A+ job from Sam and Dalton - thanks guys!
Our technician, Luis, was on time, polite, courteous and thorough. He did a great job of explaining what he was doing and why.
Luis has come to inspect a few AC situations for me. He is very thorough and professional. I really like working with him and am thankful for his additional recommendations. Also, The Comfort Plan is well worth its investment.
I cannot, in good conscience continue to work with this company. Having been a customer since 2016 (with two installations of units with them), I will be trying a different company in the future. Why? 1. During a regular maintenance, I was told that my capacitor was going bad. The story I heard was that it was…
Nothing but good things to say about The Comfort Authority. They are always punctual, professional and thorough. Luis did a great job and was so tidy the house is probably cleaner now than before he arrived. Highly recommend.
The original installation was great and the first service call was fast and excellent. Susie knew her stuff and got right to the heart of the issue. She showed me what she had to do to get my unit running properly and sold me on a preventative maintenance plan that would have caught this issue earlier. Wonderful…
Very professional and thorough. Can't say enough good about the company and the service techs.
Have been using Comfort Authority for years for HVAC needs was happy to see they opened a plumbing side of the house! Always professional and knowledgeable, and offered a complimentary inspection of my plumbing so we could add a baseline of needs to my account.
Great customer service, reliable, Glenn the tech was amazing and explained everything!
Great response time and great service. Glenn communicated the issue and took the time to answer our questions. He did an excellent job ensuring the issue was resolved.
Gerald diagnosed and had a solution within 5 minutes of arriving. Genuinely wanted us to get out AC working not trying to sell extras. Great company!
Comfort Authority has a tremendous reputation in Tampa and thus I selected them for our annual HVAC maintenance. From the beginning, the main office was crystal clear in their communication, explained exactly what would be accomplished and by whom, and what to expect the day of the appointment. This morning, I…

Rick explained everything that was going on and was happy with the information I had given him ahead of time to help them troubleshoot the issue. Couldn’t recommend anyone more than these techs. 6/5 stars
Claude and Rick were very professional and courteous. They arrived and assessed the situation and fixed our AC unit within a couple hours. Claude kept coming back to check on us to make sure the house was cooling down before they left and said he would check on us in the morning. Those guys had excellent people…
Rick Haven did a great job at diagnosing and repairing the problem with our A/C. He came the same day we called, and got everything taken care of quickly for a good price. We will definitely call them again, when needed.
Young man they sent out was thorough and very respectful of me and my property. Very knowledgeable in all aspects of the unit.
Arrived on time and identified the problem. Explained the process and options carefully and always available to answer questions

I have only had excellent service from all the service technicians from comfort authority. This company provides timely and excellent service every time I have used them. The technicians are outstanding.
After being a customer for over five years, I won’t be using Comfort Authority’s services again. The experience I had with them today caused me to completely lose trust in them. When my condensate pump started making loud noises, I knew it either needed repaired or replaced. I did my research in advance to see…
It's August and I love living in Florida, ... heat, humidity, and all! Of course that is, until the day when it's 95 outside, feeling like 120, and my AC decides to just quit on a Saturday afternoon. I figured a quick call to the company that installed it, only a few months ago would get my system up and running in…
Susie was awesome! She addressed and fixed our issue and was friendly and professional.
Chris did a great job staying patient to figure out the problem. Thank you for your work.
Chase was professional and proficient. He recognized and fixed our problem quickly and proceeded to look over the entire system. He gave us multiple options at different t price points and we never felt pressured. A+ service!
Susie from The Comfort Authority did a great job repairing our A/C unit. She was very knowledgeable, friendly, professional, thorough and quick! We have called this company for many years and they always deliver a great experience and customer service. We would recommend them very highly to everyone needing HVAC service or repair.
Our technician Rick Haven was amazing! He was professional, clean, knowledgeable and thorough. He got our AC back up and cold air back flowing in no time. We needed to replace a part on our unit. Comfort Authority prices cannot be beat. I have used them a few time since we moved to Seminole Heights and recommend…
The call to Comfort Authority was handled very thoroughly, they listened and understood the problem and promised to have the right technician handle the issues which could not be resolved by another company. Initially handled as an emergency call for service, I received a return call from Michael making sure the AC…
Thank you Rick H for your professional assistance and taking the time to thoroughly explain all the steps. I will continue to use your services for any ac needs in the future.
Rick Haven II was nothing but professional. You don't often get the kind of service Rick provided. He advised me of what the issue was, fixed it promptly, went over options for upgrades, and was just all around great to work with. The Comfort Authority installed my unit about 18 months ago. They were quick to…
