We have 2 standard poodles and had to go out of state for 3 days. We had always had someone watch them in our home but no one was available. We had driven by The Pets Home and decided to stop in and talk to them. Felt very comfortable with the cleanliness and friendly staff! We received a daily Report card on how they were doing who they played with if they ate and everything a pet parent would want to know when they’re away from their dogs. The owners and staff treat the dogs like they are their own! I don’t think my dogs wanted to leave when we picked them up! Thank you so much for taking such good care of Abbey and Oliver! Cyndi S.

Our Doberman had been going here since he has 3 months old. He will be 4 in December. They treat your dog as if they are family. We have left him overnight as well as short stays. Our boy is always super happy and super tuckered out. By the time he gets home, we love the pet's home.

I’m only giving this business two stars because I could see on the pet cam that they genuinely handled my pup with care when they were actually there. Other than that, my experience was extremely frustrating, and they showed very little sense of urgency or consistency when it came to caring for my dog while I was away. The first red flag should have been when I initially booked with the company. The owner sent someone to my home for an in-person meet-and-greet with my dog, and the walker showed up almost TWO HOURS late. The owner’s excuse was that the walker had other drop-offs and couldn’t make it on time. Honestly, I should have reconsidered moving forward after that because if you’re comfortable being that late before I’ve even hired you, what am I supposed to expect when my dog actually needs to be walked and fed? First impressions are everything. I was specifically told that ONE dog walker would be coming to my home Monday-Friday. Instead, two different times, two different people showed up. My dog was clearly frightened on the pet cam because he had never met these people before. That is extremely concerning when you’re leaving your pet in someone else’s care and expecting consistency. One of those times, the walker came to walk my dog but FAILED TO FEED HIM before leaving. I didn’t get home until around 10 PM that night and had to feed my dog myself. He was starving. That should never have happened when I was paying a company to make sure my dog was properly cared for. Then, the final time, they didn’t show up at all. The owner gave me an excuse that my husband had called and canceled the dog-walking appointment. My husband NEVER called to cancel anything. He actually had to rush home to make sure my dog was walked and fed on time while I was out of town. At that point, I completely lost confidence in the company. It has been a headache dealing with this business. When you leave your pet with someone, especially while you’re traveling, you should be able to relax knowing they are being taken care of. Instead, I was constantly checking the pet cam, worrying about whether someone was actually going to show up, whether my dog was going to be fed, and who was going to be coming into my home. I honestly blame the owner for a lot of this. If you plan on running a legitimate pet-care business, you need to have a professional, reliable staff in place. From my experience, the company is understaffed, and the workers seem overworked and stretched too thin. That ultimately becomes the customer’s problem, and in this case, my dog was the one affected. The one positive thing I will say is that Fallon seemed to genuinely care for my pup, and he appeared to warm up to her. If I could hire Fallon separately from this business to care for my dog, I honestly would. I will NEVER book with this business again, and I made that very clear to the owner. What made the situation even worse was that she couldn’t even offer a genuine apology or respond to my final message. That lack of communication and accountability says a lot. I will not recommend this company to anyone.
For those of you who worry that your pet might not be treated as well you you would, rest assured The Pet's Home is a very safe place to take your animal. Pet's here get treated with the best of care. The staff are all animal lovers and it shows in the care they provide. I HIGHLY recommend The Pet's Home.
