You will never find a more dedicated rescue than Tickled Pink. I fostered for TPWR for years, and had my own rescued weims for over 2 decades. Compassionate, warm, and deliberate are perfect descriptors. Tickled Pink tackles some of the most difficult and costly health issues a weimaraner can have. Keri is extremely knowledgeable, and has expertise in the veterinary field. I would not hesitate to adopt from Tickled Pink, and will always foster for this awesome group.

I've known this rescue for approximately 15 years, and they never cease to put in the painstaking work to ensure that every dog receives what is needed with all aspects of care. They also work extensively hard to make sure the dogs they take in are able to go to appropriate loving homes that can manage a type of…
Tickled Pink Weimaraner Rescue works so hard to rescue weimaraners in need. We have been so lucky to have adopted our twins from TPWR. The entire team care so much and gives their all to help find the right weimaraner for families looking to adopt. Thank you!
It is coming up on 4 years with our girl Willa, and I wanted to share our story...My husband and myself have been Weim parents for many years and a supporter of "Tickled Pink". We are Texas residents and were looking for a little girl and Tickled Pick had one that was in need....it was a very short discussion , a…
Fourteen wonderful years ago, I adopted a one-year-old Weimaraner from Tickled Pink Weimaraner Rescue. Her name is Allegra and she has been the love of my life. She was delivered to my home by her rescuer, Keri, who has the hugest heart for dogs. Keri was driving from New Mexico to California with an entire carload…
Tickled pink rescue deserves 10* I was searching for a bonded pair of rescue pups & Keri was an amazing! Keri made sure I was comfortable with the process, the pups, & understood the special care the senior poodle pups would require. Spencer & Bailey fit right in, & I knew without a doubt, Keri had prepared myself…

We have adopted all of our animals from rescues and our experience with Tickled Pink was by far the BEST! They were great with communication and making sure the pup (Raven) would be a good fit for us and us for the her. The dogs were kept and well cared for in a loving home. They obviously choose their foster parents appropriately as transitioning to a new home was easy on Raven. They provided all of the dog's weights and medical history in a book so going to the vet the first time was a breeze. Raven was one of seven 1/2 Weimaraner/ 1/2 German Shepherd puppies delivered and cared for by TPWR. We were emailed photos and updates as we waited for the pups to be old enough to go to their forever homes. They all went to great homes and the rescue set up a Facebook group for us to stay connected. (AMAZING) So fun to see how everyone is doing, discuss health issues and just laugh at the antics of these amazing dogs. I have every confidence that this organization is top notch and I have met the fosters personally at the dog's first birthday party (yes we did do this). They are amazing, loving people with the dogs well being their number one focus. I am very grateful for them and would love to adopt another dog from them in the future.
I've known this rescue for approximately 15 years, and they never cease to put in the painstaking work to ensure that every dog receives what is needed with all aspects of care. They also work extensively hard to make sure the dogs they take in are able to go to appropriate loving homes that can manage a type of breed like the Weimaraner. It is clear that they care immensely for these sweet beings.
Words can’t begin to express my gratitude!! The loving folks at Tickled Pink must’ve been dogs in their past lives too, because they live and breathe love for these animals. I met Keri during Covid when my beloved Piper and I were separated by the pandemic for 362 days, and despite all my efforts (and I’ll stop at nothing!!) I was unable to return to my home to be with her (and my husband and job and life). Keri pulled every string she could to connect me with the right people, and 2 weeks later, Piper was safe and sound in Los Angeles with me! Keri lovingly guided me through the (at the time extremely difficult) process and even the aftercare part of bringing Piper home. While weary from her 1 week travel, she was none-the-worse-for-wear and thrilled to be back in my arms. I love her more than life and couldn’t have accomplished this without the support and commitment from Tickled Pink Weimaraner Rescue. I’m forever grateful.
I have had Weimaraners in my family since 1972. My wife and I have been involved with different rescues for over 20 years and have volunteered for many regional rescues. I am a moderator for the Weimaraners and Jeeps Facebook page. We have transported for Keri and have rescued three Weims thru her. Laynie, Blue and our newest family member, Athena. Blue and Laynie came to us as a senior bonded pair after their elderly owner could no longer care for them and Athena was picked up by local animal control at only 13 weeks of age. We could never have welcomed these three into our family without Keris help. Those three along with our other boy Duke make for a very full Weim home. Keri is extremely knowledgeable when it comes to out beloved Weims. She truly cares for her rescues and is willing to do anything to help with any issues both before and after the adoptions are completed. If you're thinking of welcoming a Weimaraner into your family, I couldn't recommend TPWR enough!

It is coming up on 4 years with our girl Willa, and I wanted to share our story...My husband and myself have been Weim parents for many years and a supporter of "Tickled Pink". We are Texas residents and were looking for a little girl and Tickled Pick had one that was in need....it was a very short discussion , a twelve hour trip would be made by my husband, there were several phone calls back and forth to co-ordinate plans and a date was picked and the drive began. My husband arrived in New Mexico and picked up our girl , all went very smoothly and hubby and our Willa began the drive home. After a settling in period there were several follow-up calls to see how things were going...... Attached is a photo....Willa rules! Thank-you Deb & Pat
We have adopted 3 weims from TPWR and fostered one for about a month! We couldn't be happier - they care so much for the breed and take such great care of the dogs that they rescue. We've had our beloved Joey for 4.5 years now and just adopted 2 sister weims to keep him active in his senior years (we think Joey is about 14 yo). I have learned so much from them about adopting weims into our home, they care deeply for each dog in their care and have phenomenal fosters - the girls we adopted were in bad shape when they were rescued, but due to the care of TPWR and the fosters, when we adopted the girls they were so much healthier. They are now fully integrated into our pack and love 'hunting' with Joey and just hanging out in the sun filled porch. I can't say enough about this rescue organization and the care they take of the dogs, the fosters and the adoptees! Highly recommend adopting from this organization!
I adopted my dog blu from Tickled pink Weimaraner rescue and I will say they are thorough with the adoption applications because rightfully so they don’t want just anyone to adopt a dog. They want to make sure the adopters are going to be able to support their dogs and give them the love and attention they need which I fully support! I had a great experience with the foster family who took in Blu’s mom Valentine and helped her deliver the puppies. I was even able to assist in this process by building a whelping box for the puppies which is a huge blessing to help these beautiful dogs! Keri helped me throughout the adoption process and she was very helpful and attentive and was able to answer any questions I had. It was especially thoughtful of them to create our own Facebook page so the people who adopted valentines pups could share pictures and stay in touch. Thanks for everything Tickled Pink Weimaraner Rescue!
Fourteen wonderful years ago, I adopted a one-year-old Weimaraner from Tickled Pink Weimaraner Rescue. Her name is Allegra and she has been the love of my life. She was delivered to my home by her rescuer, Keri, who has the hugest heart for dogs. Keri was driving from New Mexico to California with an entire carload of dogs, all going to new homes that she had found for them. I so admired her dedication to these dogs. I also loved that I was carefully vetted to ensure that I could provide a loving, forever home to Allegra. Tickled Pink is an amazing rescue and takes in any Weimaraner that needs a new home, no matter what the condition or medical needs might be for that dog. I couldn’t think of a better rescue to adopt from or to support. They are the best. If I adopt again, it will be from TPWR.
