Brought in an injured humming bird with the hope they could help the little guy. Unfortunetly, his injuries where to much and they had to humanely euthanize him. However, they went a step further and called us to let us know the situation, how it ended, and thanked us for helping. Beautiful facility in a beautiful part of the city with a very caring team.
Wonderful people. Have taken injured birds to them three times in the last ten years.
I dropped off 2 Injured pidgeons and they were so helpful and sweet and so caring.

Thank you Wildlife Rescue for all you do!
Someone in my neighborhood must have put out poison because today a baby rabbit in my backyard started passing out and then violently twitching. I called for support and the man I spoke to was extremely rude then he said to me "you can bring him in to be euthanized or you can sit there and watch him suffer." I am an animal lover. I would never watch an animal suffer without trying to help which is why I called. I was only asking if transporting the animal would cause more distress. I love what this organization does, but you cannot speak down to people when they are reaching out for help. Especially when they are in a crisis situation. That was a horrible thing to say to someone already upset about the situation. The rabbit passed within 5 mins after, before I could even get it loaded in my car much less the 25 min drive over there. Thanks for the support though.
I'm sorry that the bunny died and you got a poor response from us. we try to help all animals that are brought to us; in your instance, the bunny died before you could have gotten it to us to evaluate. I hope in the future that you will bring to our clinic any wildlife that you think needs help.

They do not answer the phones
Hi Stephen, we have a group of 13 phone volunteers who check messages left by the public and then try to respond within the hour. During our busy season, we may get as many as 30-40 phone calls/day. Our clinic staff is too busy, as they may get in 30 animals/day. Between April and September we have taken in 2500 animals. We provide some information on our phone message. Whoever calls you back will answer any questions you may have or help you decide what to do with an animal in need. We provide phone support 7 days/week--8-8 from April through September and 8-6 from October through March.
Wonderful people! Assisted with a baby bat that needed help.
