Elana Richey is the Visiting Angel Caregiver for my wife Anne Elliott who is in the advanced stages of Alzheimer's. Elana is to say the least OUTSTANDING! and very understanding of people with this terrible disease. She shows great respect for my wife and friendly at all times. She handles getting my wife out of bed toiletry issues showering dressing feeding and assisting my wife in anyway that she can. I learned just how lucky my wife and I are to have Elana when recently she was unable to provide care for a period of four days. Elana was involved in a traffic accident that was not her fault and fortunately she was not seriously hurt but her care was totaled. The replacement Caregiver was a nightmare and in my opinion should never be assigned to a client with Dementia or Alzheimer's and I've related this to Lorraine. I recommend that Elana be recognized as an outstanding Caregiver .
