I cannot say enough about the vet and her staff. I took my beloved cat there for an evaluation. I knew he was failing. After an examination, we knew that my cat was untreatable and had to be euthanized. The doctor and her assistants helped me through this traumatic situation. They treated me and my cat so well.…

I stopped in to get medication for my dog, who has a history of seasonal allergies. Despite having a record of past treatments, I was denied a refill of his necessary medication to nip before it escalated. I was informed that I needed to bring him in for blood work before they could administer the medication, and…

We started coming to Wellington Circle Vet when we moved to Medford and it’s been the best vet experience we’ve ever had. We’ve seen multiple doctors here and they’ve all been super nice, helpful, and great with our somewhat nervous pups. The techs are all amazing, too. Niketa (sorry if I’m butchering spelling…

So I call Wellington Circle Veterinary Center and made an appointment, I explained my dog’s symptoms look like possible Parvo. They say ok and made an appointment for the next morning, and paid a $25 deposit. Out of concern I ended up bringing her to Angel Mem. Hosp, and she is fine. I called Wellington Circle Veterinary Center to advise I will not be making that appointment, the girl who answered said she was happy my dog is ok and said they do not treat for Parvo and would have referred me to an animal hospital. I said to her upon making the appointment I advised possible Parvo, why would they make an appointment with me for something they do not treat and could be life threatening? I had asked for my $25 deposit back given the circumstances. They refused and cited policy, that’s fine. My policy is when I feel an injustice from a business is done, thankful to Google, consumers have a platform to let others know of scrupulous actions. I feel this was a rather low move and would not go here, ever. Also share my experience with Wellington Circle Veterinary Center. The more I think about this, the term “Money Grub” keeps coming to mind. To sum up my review; apparently Wellington Circle Veterinary Center acted in a deception and took the opportunity to get $25 from a concerned dog owner.

WCVC is good and I’ll continue to bring my cats here, but I’d say if you’re a crazy overbearing cat mom like me, you may be better off trying to find a cats-only vet, although many in the area are popular and therefore not currently taking new patients. I think it depends who you get but some vets and techs are better with cats than others. I have 3 cats and have had multiple appointments with each over the past few months, so I feel like I have a good sense of all of the staff overall. Most of the staff are great but one tech scruffed one of my cats. He was being an a-hole, but the tech was definitely new and clearly was less comfortable with cats than dogs. My cats obviously fine, it’s not the end of the world, but, it did bother me enough to mention it. She was trying to get him in the carrier when he wanted to instead run away- just let him run away? Additionally, one of my other cats had a lump on her belly. Vet checked her out and said it was likely fine, but he very much put the ball in our court as to whether to get a sample and send it off for further testing. We thankfully opted to do that bc it turned out to be mammary carcinoma, which apparently is very common in female cats of our cat’s age. In hindsight, given the location of the lump, I sort of felt like the vet should’ve known it was likely that. In fact even after we had the lump fully removed, the surgeon told us (different vet) that you learn “day 1 in vet school” about cat mammary carcinoma. On the flip side, they are very cost conscious and give you quotes before any procedure or further testing, and never pressure you into anything. So, that’s nice for sure. I’ll also say the traveling woman vet who’s there on Mondays (I think it’s Mondays) is good and I trust her a lot. TL;DR: I’m an overbearing cat mom and feel like they take adequate care of my 3 babies, and I’ll continue to go there because I trust myself to ask the right questions and fill in some potential gaps. But if you have cats who hate the vet or really want to make sure you get someone with an in-depth knowledge of cats, consider a cat-only clinic instead.

This facility has odd practices regarding medication distribution. It's like they are trying to hold you hostage. My dog has diabetes. She must have insulin. It's not an option. This vet for months refused to provide a reoccurring Rx for insulin for my dog. They would only do 1 month at a time, which caused delays in receipt of the insulin/delay of treatment as the pharmacy wouldn't keep insulin in stock unless I had a recurring Rx. I explained the risk of lack of Insulin to the vet and they promised me a recurring Rx for 6 months. However, the front desk only did 3 months, and I discovered this because once again my pharmacy did not have humulin in stock over the holiday weekend. At my aptmt for my dogs allergy meds, I was informed once again that they can only do 1 month Rx for insulin. It is clear that there are communication breakdowns at this site between the staff. They make it very challenging for my dog to receive timely required medications. Additionally, despite conversation regarding my pets amount of Insulin intake with the vet, the information was consistently missing from the notes. This lack of documentation has led to confusion regarding my dogs needs. I give three stars because the vets at this clinic are great. The pitfall is the front desk incompetence and overall poor management of this vet clinic. If you are willing to constantly deal with the statement "let me talk to my manager to renew your dogs essential medications" this is the right place for you.

I stopped in to get medication for my dog, who has a history of seasonal allergies. Despite having a record of past treatments, I was denied a refill of his necessary medication to nip before it escalated. I was informed that I needed to bring him in for blood work before they could administer the medication, and they didn’t have a vet there until Tuesday which seemed odd and unnecessary given his documented history and I never had to do that before. Additionally, the facility operates more like a shot center than a full-service vet, as several pet owners were misled into thinking they could receive standard vet services and were turned away on the phone. I ended up traveling two hours to my previous vet, who promptly provided the prescription without hesitation. They couldn’t believe that a veterinarian clinic didn’t even recommend an over the counter med to hold him over.

Just cant write enough about how impressed we were with our 1st well visit on our new Puppy YORKIE TERRIER named MURRAY. From the initial phone call ,the waiting room and all the staff you can feel the love. My Dog was very comfortable with the Doctor and her assistant and they both were very informative and helpful and detailed about some dos and maybe donts. I didnt feel taken to the bank with the cost and was informed before hand about it and not just handled a bill to pay. My dog had to have his ears cleaned and some drops were given to me to help the yeast infection in them move along. I have a few friends who took there new dogs here and they told me about the place so now I will tell you THE READER TRY IT - YOU WILL LIKE IT SUE AND MURRAY
