Thank you to the Westwood staff for caring for my Grandfather for the 5 months he lived within Memorycare. Thank you to Autumn, Veronica, Danae & Hanna. You always made sure Eddie did what he loved best dancing and singing. You always made sure he had a dance partner. Thank you to those who gave my Grandfather the best quality of life within Westwood. He will be missed by so many especially Little Mary. My family and myself appreciated everything you did for him. My family and I all highly recommend Westwood Inn. After a thorough search for the right place for our parents we knew Westwood was the correct choice. The atmosphere is always warm and welcoming. The staff is kind, caring and professional. Every department has stand-out employees that our family will always remember fondly. We also needed the hospice services available at Westwood, and were very pleased with Assured Hospice as well. Overall, the past two and a half years were very positive for our family. Thank you Westwood.

Our parents were residents of Westwood Inn for 3 years. Our mom and dad for 1 year until his passing, followed by 2 additional years for our mom as a widow. The last 10 months mom was in memory care until her recent passing. As a family we could not have been more pleased with the entire facility from Independent Living to Memory Care, the activities and more importantly the care they were given by the ENTIRE staff was great. Were there any concerns for us? Sure, there may have been a few, but these were our parents that we want the best for at all times. Reflecting on it now, over the course of 1100 continuous days of care, there really wasn’t that many concerns. Based on stories I have heard from friends about family at other facilities in the area and/or outside of the area, this place is the tops. Our parents did have the utmost care during their 3 years stay here. If we were doing this all over again, we would not choose any place else besides Westwood Inn. Thank you, Westwood Inn!

I fell in love with the building and staff from the first time I walked in. Rinku Topiwala and the care team here are SO welcoming! They take excellent care of their residents! Desiree Raspberry the director has been such a pleasure to work with professionally. Sonia has also been extremely helpful in their community! Westwood always has the best events and life enrichment for their staff. I love clean and updated the building is too. Thank you Westwood for being such a great example of top notch senior care

Westwood Inn is such a vibrant facility with such incredible leadership and caregivers. Rinku, Director of Resident Care, knows her residents so well and provides incredible leadership and care! I would trust her, Angel, Desiree, and ALL the other members of this team with my family members.

Everything is perfect until extra help is needed. My mom was butchered with injuries from the staff. Three horrible wounds, 2 needing ambulance runs, all in one month. Plus so many more injuries! Careless inexperienced help! And who suffered? My mom! Don’t let the beauty of the facility fool you! She was not SAFE THERE! So at 89 years old I more her out and she dies 2 months later. The move was too much for her! Reckless workers slaughtered her up and then lied about what happened! Then they laugh at her in front of her! Disgusting! You know who you are and should be ashamed of yourself! It was a NIGHTMARE! The Activity Staff was 5 stars! They cared so much about my mom and were very good to her! A couple of the staff were very good! You know who you are! The ones that truly care were very few! But I do thank you for the love and care you gave my mom! Most workers were lazy and on their phones constantly! They were always In a hurry to get in and out! How dare you treat my mom with such disrespect in her last chapter of life! I have photos of every injury!

My father was in to other senior facilities before this they couldn’t come close to the professionalism of Westwood. From the very first appointment my family had a good feeling. We were not wrong I can’t name everyone but a couple of shout outs Kimberly at the desk autumn James, just everyone were attentive, professional, and always kind to my father. The facility was clean. It was easy to get around. I would recommend it highly to anybody, there is no doubt in my mind that Westwood runs as efficiently as it does because of Desiree she is the executive Director between her and Rinku. It ran like a clock. If there was ever an issue, Desiree handle it on the spot without an attitude, and always professional. And let me say there were not many problems that had to be handled. The bottom line is no place is perfect but Westwood is as close as you’ll ever get.

On behalf of my entire family, we were so happy with the personal care and support from the entire staff. My mom developed close relationships with most of the loving people who work there. Everyone had a smile on their faces or a kind word each day. There are not many places I would place a loved one in… but Westwood Inn is number one on that list. The Family of Becci Biliti

If your loved one is in Memory Care and needs a wheelchair and/or unable to communicate, get a lock for their door to stop other residents from entering room. My mom was pulled out of her bed on to the floor and dragged out of her room into the hallway by another resident. The supervisor called us to say Mom was found on the floor, but neglected to tell us the truth that she was forcefully dragged out of her room, nor did she tell us that my mom had severe injuries. The resident who inflicted the trauma to my mom was sent to the hospital for psychiatric evaluation and allowed to return to Westwood several days later. No measures were taken to protect mom from this resident entering her room again. And the resident did enter my mom's room, while I was in the room visiting my mom just three days after the incident. I told Westwood to get a lock for the door since they did nothing to stop this from occurring again. My mom passed away one week after being dragged by one arm out into the hallway. We will always wonder how many times the resident or other residents have entered my mom's room and did her harm and we were never told the truth. We don't want any other families to go through this so be sure your loved ones that are defenseless are protected.
