Zone Kar Inc for oil change

I came here last year after seeing someone's recommendation, and even a basic oil change turned into a disaster. My car is now leaking oil from the filter area; I took it to another shop and after replacing two filters, it's still leaking. It's pretty much certain they ruined my oil housing.
Legendary, thats the only way to describe them. On multiple occasions, they have taken my car, looked it over, told me what's wrong, then they don't charge a dime. I once did a 15 minute drive with a mechanic to check my car and see what's up... no charge. And now my car is in for a ton of repairs, multiple day…
One of the best mechanics in MA. Very honest and professional. He gives you honest opinion even if it means no business for him. I have 4 cars and I take all my cars to him. Instant response and availability. He does not even charge for a lot of things out of courtesy! Highly recommended!
Murph and team are the best. Both times I've been there (unrelated reasons) he has been very fast in identifying the problem and providing a solution. He will literally show you what piece is causing the issue and what the solution is. He doesn't try to upsell you with BS services. I asked him to do a full…
Murph and his team are exactly what you want in a local mechanic. I originally found Zone Kar for an oil change based on the reviews and its proximity to where I live. Everything people said turned out to be true, and then some. Murph uses quality products, gives honest advice that’s clearly in your best interest…
These guys are are awsome. They are trustworthy. They care about your car and dont look at you like dollars signs. Wouldnt trust my car with anyone else.
Murph is straightforward and a great mechanic to work with. Came in for just some standard maintenance (oil change, brake fluid flush) and I could tell they made sure my car was taken care of. Car came in at 8, out the door by 8:45. Would recommend.
Honest and reliable! I've been a loyal customer of Murph and his team for the past 5 years. Despite their new location being a 20-minute drive from my house, I continue to choose them for all my car-related needs. Their pricing is consistently fair, and their service is top-notch. I recommend them, 100%!
Moved to new location The lot containing the Webster Ave location was sold and they had to relocate -- now located in Simon's Gas 166 Boston Ave, Somerville, MA 02144, (next to the U-Haul on Rt. 16), same phone number. Name was changed to Zone Kar, Inc. in the move because of threats from Auto Zone's lawyers.
Murph and his team are excellent and Murph is great at advising clients. They just relocated to Boston Ave; I'll be heading there soon for brake work, which they did a great job on for a prior car.
Quick and friendly. Didn't try to upsell me on oil type or anything. Will definitely be returning for any car needs.
Outstanding and honest mechanic. Highly recommend. 10/10
These guys are great!! Went in for a tune up and an oil change. Was expecting to be up-sold but they got me in and out in 15 minutes with just the oil change fee, which was VERY reasonably priced. They said my car, which has 150k miles on it, is in great shape and didn't need anything else. Very friendly and quick service. 10/10 would recommend!!
They are so awesome and honest love all of them like family especially Murph he treatse like a son he
Most honest and affordable mechanic you will find in the area! Murph has been servicing our car for a few years now. It's always easy to get an appointment. If something needs to be done at the dealer he won't hesitate to tell you, and he's even referred us to others shops to have certain jobs done (muffler repair…
Very honest people. The price is reasonable. They never sell things you don't need.
I took my car here for an oil change. They had it finished two hours before they promised. They also did all the ancillary upkeep for me. They added a few pounds to every tire, topped up the wiper fluid ect.
Murph is an incredibly genuine and kind auto mechanic. He'll tell you exactly what you need for your car, and quote you a fair price. He works in a timely manner. I've only had positive experiences going to his shop, and will continue to do so in the future.
Murph is a great guy and a knowledgeable mechanic. His prices are some of the lowest I've ever seen and he will go the extra mile to make sure you're happy. He will often put the car on the lift when you arrive and look at it with you right then and there to diagnose your issue, which I love. He replaced a brake…
I came here after hearing fantastic reviews from others and was not disappointed. Murph is amazing! He is friendly, honest, and very good at what he does. I decided to come here for regular car maintenance and specific issues, and so far expectations have only been exceeded. Would recommend to anyone looking for a great auto shop.
Murph and his team are literally the best people I have ever dealt with. I want to tell everyone I know to come here and get their car serviced. Absolutely phenomenal work and attention.
I have been coming to Car Zone for years for my oil change. I've had 2 newer cars he would take care of for me and just recently before I went on a trip to Tennessee I asked him to check if I'm good for the drive and if he sees ANYTHING I need to touch up on. I told him I'd rather put 500 into my car than get a…
