Came from a different pool company that quoted me $7,000 alone for a new liner. They literally saved us over $7,000, absolutely amazing and kind speedy service!! Cannot be happier, actually called my mom to show her our pool! "For allll your pool needsss, just gotta call ACME! ACME!" the jingle is made as I walked around my beautiful pool 😂
Paid deposit-$3856, I was told two a week time on liner after I ordered. A month later I asked for an update and was told 2 more weeks for install to start. Then the city sent me a notice to comply, I informed ACME, their response was “Should be good. Let's make it happen.” Another two weeks to my next install date.…

I am someone who takes reviews very seriously, especially when considering a project of significant expense, so I wanted to take the time to share my experience with ACME Pools and Bob Mathus. If I were rating Bob on his knowledge, expertise, reliability, honesty, and friendliness, I would absolutely give him a 5. He truly is a good guy, knows what he is doing, shows up when he says he will, and works hard to get the job done right. The only reason why my rating isn't a perfect 5 (I wish that there was a 4.5 rating) is because there were communication issues at times that made the experience a bit more stressful than it should be due to being a very large backyard project with lots of moving parts. We chose the Latham 16x40 Astoria fiberglass pool with the built-in hot tub, and we absolutely LOVE it! We also added an automatic pool cover, which isn't necessary, but I would highly recommend it. It's fabulous. As I mentioned, a pool project of this size has a lot of moving parts, including excavation, electrical, gas, concrete, fencing, permits, landscaping, water, and final grading. My advice to anyone considering a new pool is to plan ahead, understand the entire scope of the project, and allow for things like weather and scheduling that can affect the timeline. One lesson I definitely learned: if you're on well water, TEST YOUR WATER FIRST! We added approximately 16,000 gallons of high-iron well water, and it took me almost five weeks to get the water clear. Once everything came together, though, the finished result was absolutely worth it. Bob was always willing to answer questions, help solve problems, and share his knowledge throughout the project. His experience really shows, and I always felt that he wanted the pool installed properly rather than simply rushing through the job. Would I recommend ACME Pools and Bob Mathus? Absolutely yes. Bob is honest, knowledgeable, reliable, and a problem solver. Most importantly, we absolutely love our pool. Our backyard has become the oasis we hoped it would be, and we couldn't be happier with the finished result. Thank you, Bob and ACME Pools!

I ask for an update. Got another new installation date two more weeks away and then the day before that installation date I get a email canceling the job entirely. I’ve pushed back other contractors constantly as a result of trusting bobs words. At this point I do not recommend this company communication was poor at best and timeline were never met.
