I recently had the pleasure of working with Atlanta Chimney Work and Repair, and I can't recommend them highly enough! The technician who came to inspect my gas insert fireplace, which had not been turning on, was exceptional. While several other companies attempted to upsell me on unnecessary upgrades, this technician conducted a thorough inspection and quickly discovered that a loose wire in the light switch was the root of the problem.
I had received estimates from other companies for thousands of dollars' worth of repairs, but Atlanta Chimney's solution was refreshingly straightforward and cost-effective. My total cost was only $100, which included a brand new switch!
I also want to highlight the professionalism of the entire team. The office staff were incredibly nice and helpful, accommodating my schedule even after I had to reschedule the appointment twice. Plus, the technician called to let me know he was on his way, arriving punctually and maintaining a courteous demeanor throughout the service.
Overall, I would definitely use Atlanta Chimney Work and Repair again and will happily recommend them to all my friends!

From the very first phone call, their customer service was professional, friendly, and easy to work with. I had a very poor experience with this company and would not use them again. Unfortunately, I did not see Dorian’s review before this service call as my experience was almost identical with the technician, Niv, as well as the office manager, Ruby.
First, they appear to operate under two different business names, which was confusing from the start. After booking, I received repeated calls and messages from multiple phone numbers, which was excessive and unprofessional.
More importantly, the technician’s visit was extremely rushed. Based on both the tenant’s account and the time-stamped text messages, the entire service call lasted approximately 15 minutes — for a three-story townhouse with a rooftop fireplace. The technician came in, stood in front of the fireplace briefly, and then left.
The written diagnosis was inaccurate and internally inconsistent, and it did not align with what was actually happening at the fireplace. As a result, the $99 inspection fee is money wasted, as it provided no real value or reliable information. Same experience with the office manage

Clear and proactive communication is a standard part of how we operate. Customers are contacted before and on the day of service to confirm appointment windows, provide ETA updates, and ensure access to the property, particularly when a unit is tenant occupied. Any outreach made was solely for those purposes and in direct response to service coordination.
When our technician, Nir, arrived at the property, he confirmed that there was no active gas supply to the unit. Without gas service, the fireplace could not be inspected or serviced. This was explained at the time, along with the recommendation to restore gas service and notify us so we could return and complete the assessment.
Nir shared that you were disappointed the work could not proceed, which is why I reached out personally the following day to understand your concerns and see if a resolution was possible. I left a voicemail inviting you to call me back, but I did not receive a response.
No inspection or service fee was collected for this visit. While there is a standard call-out fee for technician time and travel, my outreach was not regarding payment, it was to address the situation and offer a path forward.
