Customers frequently highlight the punctuality, clear communication, and thoroughness of technicians during services like drain unclogging, water heater maintenance, and toilet installation. Reviewers note that staff often explain issues clearly and provide reasonable pricing, with the owner actively responding to nearly all feedback. However, two low-star reviews describe instances where technicians left jobs unfinished or provided incorrect diagnoses, requiring customers to seek outside help or request additional charges to complete the work.

I called them on a Saturday crying and acting like a crazy pregnant lady...not only were they patient with me, they got Chris out here quick, AND fixed my problem for way cheaper than I expected.
Yes I called and apologized after I had time to cool down. But the owner Adam and the plumber sent out (Chris) seriously…

Really great experience with this plumber. We had a leak under our sink that started the day before a long weekend and weren't sure we could get anybody out. Called Benjamin Franklin and they were able to send somebody out the next morning. Gerardo was prompt polite and experienced and fixed our leak quickly. I would highly recommend them

the technician did not do a good job with the sewer plumbing cleaning. He only checked the issue and then asked for full payment. When I asked him to remove the stone, he requested additional money and said he would clean it tomorrow instead of today.
I am not sure if this is the kind of service your company…

Called Benjamin Franklin Plumbing to look at my several-years-old tankless water heater and see if it needs any maintenance work. The two technicians who came out were extremely professional and knowledgeable and advised me that despite the age of the unit, since it still works fine it’s best to just leave it alone … if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. I don’t know how many plumbers would be that honest and willing to NOT do anything, because it was the right thing to do at this time. If and when the heater needs to be replaced, I will definitely keep Benjamin Franklin in mind to do the work!
