We bought a new home from Blandford Homes in the newly developed Encanto neighborhood in Mesa. We accidentally stumbled upon the 'New Homes' sign on the corner of Lindsay and Encanto. You couldn't tell there were new homes in this part of town. It's pretty hidden and tucked away which make this community so private and perfect. It is an open gate community of of over 30 homes being built. I love that it's hidden but also open to the public as it connects to parks and canal trails. The houses are so beautifully and meticulously built. We can see the workers and foreman build more and they take so much care and attention to detail as they make them. We see the quality of the foundation and framing in the new builds, and were so impressed by the finishes and craftsmanship that we bought one ourselves in August. It's the best quality in any new build that I've seen across multiple states. We were also looking in the Scottsdale area but as we searched for homes the quality and age of older builds and finishes of the flips was not worth the premium prices. We personally stayed in one of these beautiful-looking flips but the quality was very poor and the age was showing in things like AC, plumbing, and baseboards and cabinetry. The finishes bubble and peel in ~million dollar homes. The plumbing was bad in our particular Scottsdale home. It was a beautiful house on the surface but not worth spending so much more money to fix. Not to mention years of pet smells and old dry seals that lead to bugs coming in. Stumbling upon this Encanto neighborhood was a breath of fresh air. Moving to Arizona had been disappointing to me based on the quality of the homes we were finding and not to mention the prices. We weren't sure we could afford a new home but also not sure we could afford to repair an older home that was overpriced. We saw the prices of the Encanto homes and were surprised that it was close to our budget, and as we walked through the houses and saw the finishes we knew immediately it was for us. We couldn't afford NOT to buy a home here, such lovely finishes and well crafted. We are the first to move to the development and have seen the different craftsmen from drywall to cabinetry to flooring. The flooring alone is well worth it. It is porcelain tile with a wood grain pattern. The kitchen and bathroom finishes are dreamy and so modern--nothing we saw on the market compared to them. Remodeling an old home to have the quality of these finishes would be prohibitively expensive. Mr. Blandford and the builders didn't spare any expense or cut any corners. They made a beautiful home with unmatched quality; I've seen a lot of new builds and they don't compare. Thank you for making it affordable to own an American dream home. The office ladies Stacey and Keta were beyond wonderful in helping us get information and everything we needed to purchase the home. They helped find lenders that offered affordable and competitive financing, and even offered a rate buy-down incentive. They even helped us close early as we needed to get into a home as soon as possible. We are so pleased with this purchase. They are so helpful and answer all your questions and respond in a timely manner. It's been a very pleasant experience purchasing our new home. Being new to the area they've gone above and beyond in helping us locate things for our family and kids. We are so grateful to be able to be a part of this community. Oh, I forgot to mention all the kid-friendly resources and stores in the Mesa area. It's a great place to live!

We’ve now purchased 2 New homes from Blandford over the last 25 years, and on both occasions the experience was 1st class start to finish with Terry Lents and his team at Blandford. One purchase was in Las Sendas in Mesa, AZ, and the most recent was in Red Rock Reserve in Mesa, AZ.
Terry made commitments, kept them, followed up with our questions like a pro and ensured our complete satisfaction on each purchase.
