We had a very disappointing experience with this Coconut Grove landscaping company. The service fell well short of our expectations, and we have been extremely disappointed with both the quality of the work and the overall service.
After the project was completed, multiple palm trees and other plants died. All five French drains have had major problems with water backing up and flooding, and the sod has been sinking in areas where we believe the installation was done improperly.
We have waited long periods for repairs, and even after three attempts to rework the problem areas, the issues remain unresolved nearly six months later. Damaged sod has also been left behind around the repair areas.
The owner Chris’s behavior has made an already frustrating situation even worse. During phone conversations, the owner was extremely rude, used profanity, and treated us disrespectfully. We felt harassed rather than heard when trying to get these problems addressed.
For the price they charged, we expected professional workmanship, quality materials, and reliable follow-through. In our experience, this company delivered none of those things. We are still dealing with the problems and cannot recommend this company. I strongly recommend not using this company and looking elsewhere.

They were able to create a perfect low maintenance but beautiful design and it came out even better than expected. They are super detailed in going over the plan and making sure everything is exactly as you pictured it, but better.

After seeing several very nice landscaping projects completed by Coconut Grove Landscape & Design in our area, we started asking around about the company. Everywhere we turned, we heard the same thing: Chris and his team do outstanding work and are great to work with.
When we first met with Chris, we were in a difficult position. We knew we didn't like our existing landscaping, but we struggled to articulate exactly what we wanted or develop a clear vision for the property. Chris took the time to listen to our thoughts, understand what we liked, and learn why we wanted to make a change.
What impressed us most was his ability to turn our vague ideas into a design that was exactly what we had been looking for all along—but couldn't put into words ourselves. He saw the vision before we did.
Once the work began, Chris's crew was fantastic. They worked incredibly hard through some challenging weather conditions and still completed the project on time and on budget. Their professionalism, attention to detail, and work ethic were evident every day.
We’re thrilled with the results. The work totally exceeded our expectations. We've had neighbors—and even people we've never met before—stop while passing by to compliment the work, congratulate us on the improvement, and jokingly thank us for increasing their property values.
