I Am Forever Grateful For Coming Across Crossroad Speech Therapy. My Son Received So Much Amazing Assistance That With Time You Would Have Never Knew He’d Had A Speech Delay.

Both of my children attended weekly therapy at Crossroads for the past few months. My 18 month old started meeting with Grace to catch up on his speech milestones, and by his 2nd birthday he was fully caught up. Her warm, play-based approach helped support his speech development. She also provided me guidance on how I could foster his speech development at home. My 4 year old met with Mia for occupational therapy to support emotional regulation and cognitive flexibility, and he made big improvements over the course of his weekly sessions. Mia’s approach was highly personalized and flexible. She sent him home with personalized charts & tools to sort through his feelings & find effective coping strategies at home. Grace and Mia were incredibly friendly and flexible, and both my kids genuinely enjoyed and looked forward to their weekly sessions. The strategies used at Crossroads are highly effective, and Grace & Mia were delightful!

We had such a wonderful experience working with Abby! She was absolutely amazing with our son. She was always patient, kind, and creative in finding ways to keep him engaged while making speech therapy fun. She even came to his school, which was so helpful for our family. Abby always brought different activities and materials that made his sessions exciting and enjoyable. You can truly tell how much she cares about the kids she works with and wants to see them succeed. We are so grateful for the time she spent with him and would highly recommend her to any family looking for a wonderful speech therapist!

We've been working with Crossroads Speech and Occupational Therapy for about a year and a half, and we've seen so much progress in our son. I can't recommend them enough. As a parent, it's been incredible for us to have them as a resource. He sees Kelly for speech and Kaitlin for OT. They started out coming to our house, and now that he's in PreK, they see him at school. He loves them so much that he frequently asks when they're coming next, and he jumps up and down when we tell him it's tomorrow. They've helped us through every big transition: giving up the pacifier, potty training, starting PreK, and the smaller everyday ones like sharing and switching between activities. Their advice has been really practical and tailored to him, including how to navigate his speech development in our multilingual home. When he was having a hard time with transitions, they even made him a picture guide, and it made a real difference. Kelly and Kaitlin frequently check in on how he's doing outside of sessions. Kaitlin has hopped on so many calls with me and answered all my texts whenever I've had questions. We've also had other therapists fill in when ours were on PTO, and every single one has been just as wonderful. Thank you for all you have done and are doing for our son!

My daughter has been receiving services from Crossroads the last six months and her progress has been nothing short of amazing. She is a preemie baby, so it was really important to make sure she had the best support possible. She sees Kaitlin for OT and has hit every developmental milestone, including walking at 13 months. As a first time mom with a preemie baby I was worried that she wouldn’t catch up to other babies, but with Kaitlin’s support, she is right on track. She also knows what toys are the best for her age and has introduced me to great options that she can grow with. Even during my daughter’s “stranger danger” era, she lights up when Kaitlin arrives. We’ve been working with Meg and Dani for her feeding and speech therapy. My daughter‘s food aversion was our biggest concern when contacting Crossroads. She was already small for her age and had no interest in food. Six months later and she is feeding herself, trying new flavors and textures. One of the best things about working with Meg and Dani is their communication outside of our sessions. They are available on days we don’t meet together to answer any questions. They offer tips on foods or techniques to try. I can reach out if I’m unsure what to buy at the grocery store and they are very responsive so that I have all the right foods. My daughter has gone through many digestive issues, and they also know when to direct me to her G.I. doctor, dietitian, or pediatrician. They have all worked with myself, my husband, and my mother-in-law and we couldn’t be more grateful!

My daughter had the pleasure of having Claire as her therapist, and it was truly the best experience from start to finish. Every Monday, my daughter was so excited to see her and practice her speech. Ms. Claire had a wonderful way of making their time together both fun and productive. The combination of their sessions and the weekly homework suggestions made such a difference and greatly improved my daughter’s speech. We are so grateful for all of the time, patience, and care she put into helping our daughter. Thank you so much, Claire, for everything!

Our daughter worked with Julie for the last several months. Julie helped her overcome her separation anxiety. Julie was extremely patient and always coming up with creative ways to keep our daughter engaged. Julie was great at gauging exactly how to approach each session. My son has worked with Kaitlin for occupational therapy over the past three years, and I cannot recommend her highly enough. She has been an invaluable source of support, not only helping my son make tremendous progress but also guiding me through several challenges along the way. Kaitlin has always taken the time to collaborate closely with my son’s school and other providers as needed, ensuring everyone is working toward the same goals. Her expertise, compassion, and dedication have made a meaningful difference in my son’s development and in our family. I am incredibly grateful for everything she has done. We are sad to leave as we relocate however we are extremely thankful for the time we spent working with her.

I worked with Sofia Magnuson for about five months to improve my professional English communication skills, and I highly recommend her. Not only did my English improve, but I also gained much more confidence speaking in professional settings. Colleagues at work even noticed the improvement in my communication. Sofia used a variety of techniques tailored to my specific needs and goals. She was always supportive and willing to answer questions, even when I brought in exercises and practice from other speech therapy apps. I appreciated how flexible and personalized her approach was rather than following a rigid curriculum. If you’re looking to improve your English communication skills and build confidence, Sofia is an excellent speech therapist and coach.

My son had the best experience working with his Occupational Therapist, Lindsey. Lindsey began working with him at just 18 months old, and for the next 6+ months, she seamlessly blended skill development with toddler play. Every week our son looked forward to his session with Lindsey. Her communication and patience with us and our son was a huge help and always appreciated. After graduating from his OT services, we see a big difference in his cognitive and motor skills, and already miss our time with her. Thank you, Crossroads!
