One star is too good for Dewey Pest Control. The company has been here at our church ranch bimonthly since 2019. Now, in July 2026 taking their constant unresponsiveness via phone messages, requests and texts for years from a canned answering service is no longer an acceptable. The days of Dewey here are over.
1.) For 7 years the ranch house was eligible for perimeter service in and out, but we do the inside with 18 mos coverage every six months. and they do the outside bimonthly, they have been saving 50% chemicals on the $100 service charge.
2.) Dewey local manager two years ago said, "Whenever you have problems we will come back out, you just call, we stand behind our service." A lie! A bunch of baloney. It never ever happened.
3.) The past two years after installing weather stripping, door shields and tight yard grooming, visitors are getting bitten constantly during spring, summer and fall, and it comes with fever, flu symptoms and painful blood welts.
4.) Dewey does not return calls, from the top down, total silence. A recent text from Art, the technician, "You have to understand it's summer, many pests are going to be coming in. I can not come back for a week, and even then we do not use full spray on a follow-up."
5.) I offered to pay $100 and said, "Please let us know when you can come ASAP." Total silence from Art the technician, the answering service, and the secretary company owner, Dewey Brock. The secretary said, "Mr. Brock would not be interested in this call. I will transfer you to the regional office." Right back into the viscous circle of the BIG BLACK HOLE Aka Dewey Pest Control.
5.) Assessment: Dewey Pest Control demands silent customers (and there are many out there to satisfy their thirst). Clients who are too busy to follow up with the runaround, customers who love unresponsiveness, they make automatic payments, never ever call the office and love abuse. Why is this the typical Dewey Customer Profile? From the top down, Dewey believes this is how to legally make dishonest money.
6.) In the end, this company will never survive. Its collapse is coming one day very soon based on the BLACK HOLE, unresponsive runaround while collecting automated payments at an alarming rate for relatively nothing.
