Can’t say enough about how impressed I am with this business! I contacted Molly about pet sitting, she informed me that they don’t offer that service and then proceeded to go out of her way to help me find someone who could, even creating a post for a facebook group of east bay dog professionals. 10/10, I don’t even need a dog walker and I want to hire them

We did six sessions with Vero for our 9-to-10-month-old cattle dog, Levi, who we adopted 4 months ago. Given his breed and young age, he has a very specific temperament—essentially something akin to a chupacabra. Vero worked with us patiently using positive reinforcement to help manage his reactivity around big triggers like cats and squirrels, while also sharpening his recall. She gave us practical homework to strengthen his trust in us, taught us effective ways to de-escalate him when triggered, and helped us navigate his mild separation anxiety. We’ve already seen steady progress and feel equipped to keep building on it. Beyond her expertise, Vero feels like an instant confidant. She made herself available between sessions for check-ins and always welcomed our questions. It’s immediately clear how well-versed she is in her craft, and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her to anyone looking for an exceptional trainer! We also utilize Doggy Llama for puppy play group twice a week and he loves his handlers and the opportunity to be rambunctious with other puppies. Levi always comes back tired, which we appreciate.

I have been working with Doggy Llama's trainer Vero Chavez Rojo for almost a year and she is outstanding! Archie, my big rescue shepherd lab mix, is a sweet heart, however, he had a really hard first year of his life and I needed a lot of help with his sensitivity and reactivity. I tried several trainers and Vero's special touch has done the trick! What is special/unique about Vero: - Vero is very knowledgeable about all things dog-related and really takes the time to understand what is going on specifically for you and your dog - She is very kind and practical with her training and makes it simple so that it’s easy to follow and be consistent - Vero is encouraging and supportive to help me feel more confident in what I am doing with Archie which is as important as anything else - Vero follows up and is very curious about how things are going and is eager to work with me to adjust as needed - She cares about the whole dog (and person : ) and helps to figure out what is going on health-wise since it is likely contributing to behaviors - We have been able to address a number of things with Vero that I was not able to make much progress on with other trainers - Vero continues to build on what we have learned whereas with other trainers I felt we kept working on the same thing and/or often regressed without much continual progress - Vero is very positive and clear in her communication which is incredibly helpful along the way

The team at Doggy Lama did an excellent job with our complicated pup, Ari. Ari has a history of chronic health issues along with reactivity and the Doggy Lama team was really flexible about helping us meet Ari where she was it. We loved working with Vanessa and Tom for her walks. The photo updates and written reports we so reassuring to help us monitor how Ari was feeling and doing out in the world.

Bramble celebrated his second birthday with Doggy Lama last month! He wouldn't be the amazing young guy that he is without the care, expertise, and joyfulness of the entire team during his tenderest, most formative months, and we are beyond grateful. We get endless compliments and praise for what a well-rounded, amiable, kind, and bold little creature he is, and we certainly didn't achieve that by ourselves — having Doggy Lama help shape his world in a safe, encouraging way with other puppies for the first few years of his life has been a truly priceless experience.

We couldn’t recommend Doggy Lama Pet Care more, what a wonderful organization. Molly and all the employees are amazing. Their pricing is more than reasonable, and the services are the best. Molly was recommended by a friend as “the dog whisperer” and that 100% accurate. We have a little senior guy who loves other doggo’s but doesn’t have any teeth to defend himself, so it has been really difficult to find a boarder for him to be safe. Even having friends who he is familiar with staying at the house hasn’t worked out. Insert Doggy Lama. We did a trial run of boarding with Molly, and he passed. We were finally able to schedule a weeklong vacation knowing he would have the best time. He got to hang out with some other senior dogs and have long walks in the wilderness and lots of doggo time. Molly kept us posted daily with pictures of our little man being a dog. The experience way outperformed expectations. We are working to sign our guy up for some walking adventures throughout the week. Go see Doggy Lama for all your needs.

We absolutely love Molly and the whole Doggy Lama team! From the very beginning, Molly has been so communicative, kind, and flexible and she always sends the best photo updates that brighten our day. When Wilma first started going to Molly, she was a shy and timid pup who wasn’t comfortable being off leash. Over time, with Molly’s patience and care (and the help of Fabrizzio and the other amazing walkers), Wilma has grown so much in confidence. She now happily runs with the pack (with a long lead) and adores her boarding stays with Molly. I think she’s sad when she leaves! We’re so grateful for Doggy Lama and the great care and service they provide. It truly feels like Wilma is part of a second family. We can’t recommend Doggy Lama enough!

We've been so lucky to have Molly in our dog's life for several years now and she is the best. I feel so fortunate to have found Doggy Lama Pet Care when our other dog sitters had to move away. I wanted a long term replacement for our pup and that's what Molly and her crew have been. She always communicates in a timely way and sends us the best pictures of our dog. When we go on a vacation I feel like our dog is getting a special vacation too. Lots of love, walks and cuddles which is what you want for your pup when you go away.
