The 5 star review is for the esthetician, Katie, who was great. She had a really nice touch and she explained all of the products she was using as she used them. My skin did look and feel great after. The part I wasn't necessarily expecting was after my facial, I thought I would pay and be on my way. I was instead taken to a "consultation room" where a man came in and wanted to sell me either a package or a skincare device or both. I explained that I don't live in the area and am not interested in a package and that I already have a red light device at home, as well as that I work in the beauty industry myself and I'm able to get many things at cost, so I would not be buying anything today but I would be willing to take a brochure or some information with me, which he provided. He was nice enough, but it is a pressure sales tactic that I didn't appreciate. Had I not been in the beauty industry or as educated as I am about skincare, I can see how people would feel intimidated by such a pitch or pressured to buy very expensive treatments. Additionally, after a relaxing treatment, clients don't want to be put in a room and pressured to buy upsells. If the devices/products do what they claim to do, clients will naturally want to buy and don't have to be pressured.
