Me and my recently moved into our newly built house and we're right near a wooded area. So there would definitely be insects around. I can honestly say since we have had Essential Pest come out and do their bug treatment its rare i see any bugs outside especially in our back yard. The treatment has shown effective. There is good communication about the services and notification when they are coming. I'm pleased with the services. They are polite and professional.

Disappointed in how our service agreement ended up turning out.
The sales guy approached our house and gave his pitch on what he can do for us and how Essential Pest is a small local family business right out of Ashville, OH and has their office over on Long Street (Lie #1). This company is not from the South Bloomfield/Ashville area. We were up in the air and decided to go with the service to help support a small local business and treat our house/yard before the summer months.
The sales guy also answered my question of "Can I cancel this at any time if we decide we no longer want service?" with a confirmation that we can cancel whenever simply by calling in at no cost (Lie #2). We called to cancel our service which took almost a full month to do and were charged a fee that we were unaware was written into the agreement based on what the sales guy confirmed with us.
We also requested if they could throw in spraying the yard as we had issues last summer with some mosquitos gathering in swarms. The salesman said yes we can add that and spray from the sidewalk up to the house (Lie #3). When it was time for first service I was not home, however, I was able to check in a little bit from the ring cameras and the technician was there maybe 10-15 minutes. In the Service Summary Report we received there was not a single mention of treating the yard which is in line of what I saw on our ring cameras.
I am aware that maybe I should have read the service agreement a little more detailed. However, their sales guy lied straight to my wife's and I faces about multiple things which I feel is very wrong.

They spray the yard and the whole house, are very communicative about arrival and always check on your needs. Friendly staff that is there to assist you with pests in your yard and house .
