Recurring themes include the owner’s responsiveness to quotes and follow-up, as well as the thoroughness of the work performed on lawns and sprinkler systems. However, some low-star reviews cite a lack of communication for specific requests, refusal to provide quotes for smaller jobs, and concerns regarding licensing and payment record-keeping.

Darnell has helped us on three different occasions now and he has always proved invaluable. The work is always very well done and he truly cares about doing a great job each time. I highly recommend Florida Pro Lawn Care!
Between the Florida heat and drought, my lawn was in rough shape. I reached out to Darnell, and he was responsive enough to come out the same day for a quote. While clearing space for the new sod, he discovered old irrigation heads buried below the surface (I didn't even know there were any). Rather than ignoring it, he replaced them with a new, taller system and properly calibrated them to water the edges and prevent future burn-out. His attention to detail made a night-and-day difference. Highly recommended!

We chose Darnell with Florida Pro Lawn Care to re-sod our front lawn, and we’re glad we did. We had a problem with Bermuda grass repeatedly taking over our St. Augustine and were looking for someone to properly re-sod it so that the Bermuda would not grow back. Darnell sprayed the Bermuda to kill it, removed the debris, added new nutrient rich soil, leveled it, ensured sprinkler coverage, installed new St. Augustine and fertilized it. It looks amazing! He is knowledgeable in landscaping and very thorough. He’s also a nice guy and we’d definitely hire him again.

Without a flashy over advertising work truck, Darnell came out late in the afternoon to look at a broken valve assembly. He quickly identified the issue, gave a reasonable quote for the repairs, and once agreed upon immediately began working. He made great progress into the dying light, and showed up first thing the following morning to finish the job. After a diagnosis of the entire irrigation system (6 zones), everything was working perfectly! Excellent job!

We recently hired Darnell to help with lawn care, starting with the installation of a sump pump in our backyard. Even though this is just the first phase of our project, we’ve already been extremely impressed. He was very professional, respectful of our time, and did a fantastic job. The sump pump is working great and has already made a noticeable difference in keeping flooding out of our yard.
He’s incredibly easy to work with, communicates well, and clearly takes pride in his work. He completed the job quickly and efficiently without cutting any corners. We’re really looking forward to having him continue with the rest of the yard—if the rest of the project goes anything like this first phase, we’re in excellent hands!
Highly recommend and will be updating with photos in the future stages.
