I really wanted to work with this company based on their portfolio, but the customer service is non-existent. After multiple attempts to contact them through their site, email, IG, and phone, I’ve given up (first contact was March 9th). A simple "we're booked" would have sufficed, but being ghosted across email, text, and social media is a huge red flag.

Rachel and the entire team at Houston Affordable Designs were fantastic to work with. They helped furnish a home we were preparing as an Airbnb and managed to stay right on budget while creating a stylish, welcoming space. Rachel thought through every detail — from furniture and décor to all the essentials guests…
We used Houston Affordable Designs for several rooms in our home and could not recommend them more! I had a clear style and vision for our rooms - I shared inspiration and furniture pieces I loved and they helped me pull it all together, added their recommendations, and produced final designs that turned out much better than I could have put together myself. I work full-time and have young kids, so I especially loved how HAD coordinated contractors (we did built-ins, frame molding, and painting), scheduled installations, and oversaw the work all while I was at the office (and even traveling)! While I love having a beautifully designed space, I don't like all the micro-decisions that come along with getting there, and that was another thing where I found HAD to be instrumental - sconce placement, curtain rod height, frame molding dimensions, etc.! The team was responsive, wonderful to work with, and I couldn't be happier with the results. Thank you, HAD team!

Houston Affordable Designs was such a great firm to work with as we partnered in making my home beautiful! We worked on the entry way and living room and these girls were great from day one. The process was structured, thorough, and honest all while being flexible when warranted. I loved being able to see the actual mock ups in the space come to life. I also really appreciated using a high / low model when it came to furniture and decor shopping. All the contractors the team brought in were also reliable and very good at their jobs. I would definitely work with the firm in the future. Attached are before and after pictures.

Their model is very unique - they provide you a look for a set fee. For me - not having to think about the pricing of and choosing each piece took so much decision making off of me - which I loved. That method worked great for me for my living room. While this may be challenging for some of you - I'd say - trust the process!!
Thanks HAD for a great experience!

Rachel and the entire team at Houston Affordable Designs were fantastic to work with. They helped furnish a home we were preparing as an Airbnb and managed to stay right on budget while creating a stylish, welcoming space. Rachel thought through every detail — from furniture and décor to all the essentials guests would need — and managed the process while we were offsite. Houston Affordable Designs was a great company to work with. With efforts spearheaded by Rachel, the process was seamless and smooth. Communication was great throughout the project and disruption to our living situation was minimal. The end result was better than my expectations, and could not be happier with the value we received for the price we paid. I could not recommend this company enough if you are looking for Class-A results without the heft price tag.

Thank you so much for your kind review, Thomas!
We hope you’re loving your new space as much as we loved designing it for you.
