We tried multiple lawn care companies in Madison, and none of them worked until we hired Lawn Doctor. Effective and communicative.

Craig Brewer13 reviewsiTotal number of Google reviews Craig has written across all businesses on Google Maps, not just this one.
Fellow North Alabama Citizens, be cautious about Lawn Doctor of Decatur. They ruined my established yard of 17 years, just completely destroyed it. First year contract, no problem, during the winter and early spring of the 2nd year is when they went from Hero to Zero. Applied 5 rounds of Preemergent with in a 45-day time period. After the 4th visit, I called and they got really confused on the phone. And then a week later my yard gets another treatment, and yes, I have all 5 little flags that was placed along the road and tickets left tapped to my front door after each application. Yard was still brown/dormant in April, kept telling me to give it time and it would bounce back. May, still brown/dormant and telling me the same song/dance. The owner, Star made a visit to my home, swore up and down that only 2 rounds got applied, grass still brown and in dormant. They sprayed something they said would weak it up in 2 weeks. I gave them 4 weeks, still the same scenario, majority still brown/dormant, some starting to green up. Had 2 other competitors visit and both had the exact diagnosis, Root Clubbing. Only fix is to re-sod. The owner Star has refused to stand behind or make corrections of his company’s Service and what they destroyed. He only offered to keep spraying more chemicals as long as I kept paying him. I have know turned this matter over to a very good fried of mine that is an Attorney. I will keep the audience updated as to how this plays out in court.

Tyler is our regular technician, and, let me tell you, he is a professional! He always texts the day before to let us know he’s coming, and again on his way to the house to remind us to keep the dogs in. He always closes the fence gates behind him, too. We are completely satisfied customers.
