Working with Ward and his team from monks was a seamless and efficient process. Ward and Bill were kind and easy to work with. We’ve had two projects this year that have turned out beautifully!

I used Monks earlier this year for a molding job throughout my foyer, 2 sets of stairs and a long hallway. The team assigned to my project included Robert, Peter, Alim, Denis and Trevor. They each took the time to understand the project, the requirements and my vision. They came multiple times to measure and ensure…

Monks has done some smaller construction jobs on my house and they’ve been wonderful and efficient. Roberto especially is a great problem solver and was very helpful!

Wife and I recommend Monk’s Design Studio for your home improvement projects. Ward, Mark and Raul did a fantastic job on our storm door. They recommended ProVia brand to meet our needs and they were right. This door is so much better than our previous door produced by a National well known company. Our new door is…

Excellent service overall. Monk's worked with us to modify a bathroom for an elderly family member and helped us think through the right modifications. They asked all the right questions and paid attention to the details to "get it right". The team that performed the work was highly professional and worked quickly…

Scope of work: Refinish two custom made wooden doors. The doors had some complicated carvings and many service providers turned us down as customers.
Ward was extremely helpful and easy to work with. He came by to provide an estimate and it was quite thorough. Payment was due at the end of the quote preparation - but since it was thorough and Ward explained every aspect of the work being done, it did not feel like a pressure tactic at all.
Scheduling was very easy, and more importantly, flexible. We had to reschedule a couple of times because of unplanned travel and bad weather. Both times, Ward was very helpful and patient.
The work itself started right on the day it was supposed to start. Gustavo and Christian worked on my doors and their work was impeccable. It took an entire week - but the good thing was that there was never an occasion I felt nervous about the quality of work being done.

They each took the time to understand the project, the requirements and my vision. They came multiple times to measure and ensure it would turn out as designed. Wife and I recommend Monk’s Design Studio for your home improvement projects. Ward, Mark and Raul did a fantastic job on our storm door. They recommended ProVia brand to meet our needs and they were right. This door is so much better than our previous door produced by a National well known company. Our new door is stronger and solid, opens and shuts more smoothly, and the glass and screen options are easier to use. The ordering, delivery and installation all went well and on time. The job was completed at a fair price. Thanks Monk.

Also their payment system is extremely easy to use, listing the contract online with clear dates as to when bills are due. FYI this is perhaps fifth major project we've done with them. Can't say enough, highly recommended.

We used monk’s to patch & paint after having electrical updates done in our entire house. Roberto was very attentive to detail and was able to provide an itemized estimate at the start. He continued to checkin on the project’s progress and was very responsive when we had to adjust the scope of work. Gerald & sons worked quickly and professionally throughout the weekend to finish the project on time. I really appreciated them protecting the floors, getting color samples on the walls, and cleaning up at the end. Overall had a great experience and 10/10 would recommend!

We just bought our first home and needed to replace one of the doors. We really had very little knowledge on what we needed and came to Monk´s. Robert helped us and guided us through the complete process. He was so helpful in answering all of our questions and explaining everything we needed and all options to us. He continued to be helpful and responsive throughout the ordering and delivery process to make sure we had everything we needed and that the delivery was a success. I would highly recommend coming to Monk´s and working with Robert on any of of your home renovation needs!
